Daisy, who appeared to be deeply flushed at Edward's action, was unable to look up, but Edward appeared to find Daisy's frazzled state amusing. Daisy's mind was tricking her; although she appeared to be quiet, she wasn't. Her brain was processing information quickly and loudly.
I now have a nickname from Edward!
I was given a moniker by Edward!
My hair was raised by Edward!
I have hair!
Dear lord!
My freaking hairs!!
How am I going to handle this?
He gave me a sweet smile!
Again!!
He smiles at me once more!
I'm going to die!!
Edward Leo is going to be death of me!!
TEASE!!
"Did you say something?" Daisy stopped dead in her tracks once more, yelled at Edward while stuttering, and shut her eyes out of fear. "M-Me, Uh-huh nothing, I-I didn't say anything," she pleaded. Her lips were quivering wildly as she held them closed. When she finally opened her eyes, Edward was laughing at her and holding his stomach. For a brief moment, she forgot that she was the sole cause of Edward's laughing and instead concentrated on him, his unusual chuckle, which she had just begun to notice. She found it to be so pure, true, and genuine. She could always see the smile, but it never grew boring. Blushing at the thought, she grinned along with Edward at his awkwardness, only for him to torment her once again.
"I don't know anxiety causes you flush like that, are you sure this is your nervousness or," he smirked once again. "Something else, little one," he said as he drew closer to Daisy and stooped to her eye level. Daisy sputtered and retorted, "I-I, what are you trying to bring up?" Nothing, simply evaluating the project's symptoms and indicators, Edward continued, smirking.
Again!!
He did that once more!
Oh, poor me!
TEASE!!
As they walk into the cafe, they are greeted with the comforting smells of cookies and hot chocolate. Daisy was directed to a seat by a window by Edward. They both relaxedly sat there. Daisy receives a cookies and cream dessert and hot cocoa from Edward.
"How did you find out that I enjoy cookies and cream?" Daisy enquired a question. "Nothing; it seems to me to be a sixth sense, just as if you wanted to drizzle more Nutella sauce on top". Says Edward arrogantly. Daisy came out in shock after hearing, her eyes widening. "Are you some sort of spy?"
"We'll see, little one", Edward remarked while grinning. Daisy protests with a pout, "Don't call me that." Edward replies with a sneer, "Why is that making your heart race?" Daisy responded in awe, wanting to disappear into thin air "No!! I what!! Stop!!"
"As you wish, little one," he said after pausing and laughing at her. Daisy ate her snacks quietly. After that, they both study quietly while occasionally stealing glances and adoring each other, as Daisy was known to do, but you can't tell what Edward is thinking. They were both preparing to leave the cafe after spending a good two hours studying when the waitress showed up with the bills. Daisy's repeated statements, such as "She can pay, let her," are ignored by Edward. You two are a great couple, the waitress stated with a kind smile. Daisy screamed in horror, "It's not like...," but Edward's "Thank you, mam" interrupted her. When the waitress left, Daisy looked shocked at Edward, who smiled back at her.
"Why did you say that?" Daisy enquired anxiously. "Just wanna see your flustered state, little one." Edward brushed it off. "You are such a TEASE". Daisy stepped. Edward simply shook his head and said, "I know, little one."
TEASEE screamed Daisy's mind.
