matchmaker quest 3.0- Gared's return
Suddenly there was a knock on the door
"Logan?" She asked
"Nope Gared-" he replied
She opened the door immediately
It really was Gared!
"Gared! But- how?!" She shouted
"Well i have a tracker on your device- and that's how i knew where you were and I was able to telport here-" he replied
Showing her the telport device
"You have really cool gadgets- how are you able to make them?" She replied
"That's a secret- but what matters now is that I'm here" he replied
"Yeah well I guess you are- come on let's go-"
They walked off to the woods
"So why do you even call yourself Gared anyway?"
She asked
"Well-" he said "When I was a kid- I had this older brother- he was always picking on me so one day I finally had enough- I tied a brick to his neck and pushed him in front of a moving train-"
"what the heck gared?!- have you always been insane?-" she replied
she replied
"Nah-" he said "After that day I had to change my name- and I'm still Gared." He replied
She sighed
"Just how did you become like that?-"
"I'm not sure- i've had a few different personalities in the past- but I think i'm finally stable now. I'm happy." he replied
"Well that's good-but how come you didn't try to kill me?" she replied
"I had no reason to- and you would have been killed if you were able to accept your punishment- I was the one who set that all up-" he replied
"The whole mission- was set up by you?!-and that was part of the plan?!" She shouted
"I had to I wanted it to work out but I had a plan if you ended up failing- and the plan for drew was still in motion- but it would only happen if everything didn't work out- I would kill you both
But- I grew so attached to you both- and I had to save drew and doing that it would save you as well-" he replied
"Well I'm glad- so glad that you guys are alright-"
"Yeah well I guess we should get to the woods before the sun rises- we don't want to be seen by anyone do we?"
"Well I guess we better go before he comes back-"
They ran off into the woods
"So what do you want to do with him?" She asked
"Well i guess we should try to make a full transformation- since we have so much time before the moon is back-" he replied
"Yeah well we're just going to have to take that chance- we'll be able to do it in the morning though right- we'll have the darkness-" he replied
"I guess" she replied
They walked in silence for a few minutes
when Gared came up with a new plan
"How about if i hide in the tree and watch the house- since they can't see me, you go in and talk to him-"
"I guess-but even when I hid drew always noticed me-" she replied
"Well you aren't me- and I'm sure he trusts you-" he replied
"I can try- i'll just have to hope that he doesn't kill me when I sneak in- I'll see you in a few hours then-" she replied
"Alright i'll be waiting" he replied
- and when you're sure it's safe I'll come and get you-" she replied
"Alright- see you in a few hours"
Gared disappeared into the trees and she headed towards the house with a quick pace
She walked up the steps and knocked on the door
"Come in" he replied
She opened the door and saw him sitting in the living room
"Hey- sorry it took so long-" she said
"Oh it's alright- you're back" he said " I told you to stay here but you couldn't so you went anyway"
"Yeah well I'm here now and that's what counts" she replied
He gestured for her to sit down on the couch and she did
"So why did you really come back?" He asked
"Well-" she said Because I was worried about you-" she replied
He laughed
"Well, that was pretty corny-"
"Yeah well I was serious" she replied
He was quiet for a moment before speaking again
"So what about you?" she asked
"I came back for a different reason" he replied
"Oh yeah? What's that?" she asked
"I came back because I wanted to know more about what happened to you" he replied
He sighed
"Well it was a long time ago- I don't remember it all" she replied
"Can't you just remember anything?" he replied
"Nope, it was all kind of hazy" she replied
"Can you tell me about Lucas or Gared?-" he asked
"Well I guess- Gared ended up breaking my heart and I was the one who broke Lucas's heart- but I was given another chance- I was able to help him out in the end and as for Gared
I'm over it now- and I'm good with just being friends-" she replied
"But you guys had a huge argument-" he replied
"It was a misunderstanding and we made up"
She frowned
"There was a huge argument?" he asked
"I guess" she replied
"What happened?" he asked
"Are you asking about Lucas or Gared?" she replied
"Gared" he replied
"Oh- well I wanted him to hang out with his new friend- instead of me- and he got upset about it- and I got frustrated too-" she replied
"But why would he have gotten upset about that-" he replied
"I don't know, I was just mad- and we got into a huge fight- and I left- and when he came back he seemed better but then the next day he totally flipped and almost killed both me and drew-" she replied
"How did he almost kill you and drew?" he replied
"I ended up putting drew in danger- if I let it kill me instead- I was so worried but in the end, he saved drew" she replied
