Matchmaker quest 3.0- unrequited love?
"So what about Lucas-"
"I never got a chance to talk to him"
She frowned
"I was too upset about Gared to try and talk to him"
"I see-" he replied
"I was able to apologize but he didn't know what I was apologizing for because he wouldn't remember- I loved him so much-like with Gared- but what can you do when they can't love you back?-" she replied
"Why couldn't they like you back?" He replied
"Because they already had someone they loved-" she replied
"But you loved them too" He replied
"Yeah but it doesn't really matter anymore- I'm not allowed to be happy and I've learned to live with it- as long as I can make friends then it's all good-" she replied
They sat in silence for a few minutes before he spoke again
"So are you happy?" he asked
"I don't know" She replied
"But you tried-" he replied
"Yeah-and you're really nice- I- think I'm falling for you-" she replied
she said
"Why?-" he replied
"It's just you are the only one that didn't break my heart-" she replied
"But that's because I don't have a broken heart- and I'm not like you-" he replied
"But you're really nice and I like you- and you care about me-" she replied
He sighed
"But I can't love you either and for that I'm sorry-"
"Well-" she replied
"I'm really sorry-" he replied
"I know and I'll understand if you don't want to talk to me-" she replied
"No- I'll talk to you-" he replied
"Alright, well I'll talk to you too" she replied
They stayed silent for a few minutes until she stood up and hugged him
"I better get going- I'll see you later" She said
She left and shut the door behind her
and ran back to Gared
"Hey," they said in unison
"So did you talk to him?" Gared asked
"Yeah- I told him about you and drew and Lucas-" she replied
'What did he say?" he asked
"Just that he felt bad for me-
He was really nice-" she replied
"But can I ask you what I did wrong?" He replied
"You really don't know? You set up that whole plan and almost killed us and before that, you broke my heart-" she replied
"I-I- Lucy- I'm sorry-" He replied
"It's fine- I know that you didn't mean to" she replied
"I just wish you would have told me-" he replied
"There was no point Gared-and it doesn't matter anymore- and you still have drew right?- my feelings aren't important-" she replied
"I know, but I care about you-" he replied
"That isn't enough Gared- I just wish that it was me that you loved-" she replied
"I do love you Lucy-" he replied
"I know you say that, but you don't act like it-" she replied
"I do-" he replied
"No you don't, you treat me like I'm nothing-" she replied
"That's not true-" he replied
"Yes, it is- you act like I'm not even there- like I'm not even a part of your life-"
"That's not how I-" he replied
"Then why did you choose Drew?!" She shouted
"it was an accident!" He shouted
"Yeah, an accident that you love someone else-" she replied
"I do love you!" he shouted
"No, you don't-" she replied
"Yes, I do!"
"No, you don't!"
"Yes, I DO!"
"NO, YOU DON'T!"
They continued shouting at each other for a few minutes until Gared stopped and said
"I love you too, but I love Drew more-"
"Well I love you-" she replied
"And I love drew more- it's just the way it is-" He replied
"I know I just wish things were different-" she replied
"I know- but things have to be this way-" he replied
She frowned and turned away from him "Yeah, I'll see you later"
"Yeah, later"
She ran deeper into the forest
And she began to sob
crying on the forest floor
when she felt someone or something rubbing against her
it was actually- soft!
and when she turned around
it was a wolf!
and it had to be Eric!
"You're Eric aren't you?" she replied
the wolf nodded his head
"are you alright?" he asked
"I'm alright- I'm just sad- the ones I love, love someone else-" she replied
"Well there might still be someone out there for you-" he replied
"Yeah like who?" she replied
"I don't know but don't give up hope-" he replied
"I already have there's no one for me-" she replied
"what if I told you were wrong? what if the one meant for you is right in front of you?" He replied
"are you saying that you're the one for me?
but what about Logan? he loves you-" she replied
"Well-then-how about this? I'll love you both-" he replied
her eyes widen
she started to realize- Gared was saying that he loved them both- but he had to lie to her
because she wouldn't believe him
and it was the same with Lucas he loved her too until she broke his heart- but since he doesn't remember that he still loves her
-so it really wasn't onesided
then what about Logan? he was nice to her
but he told her that he didn't love her
and maybe he didn't- but he loved Eric
and Eric was willing to love her-
could she accept that? yes she would
and if Gared and Lucas came back for her
she was willing to accept them too -
she would forgive them both
and all of them could be happy together
Gared, Drew, Lucas, Edward,Logan, Eric, and her
"Eric I agree- you can love us both I'm willing to accept it-and I will accept them too-
they also love me and I was too dumb to realize that until you-" she replied
"I'm glad-and you'll be happy I promise-" he replied
she turned around and hugged him
he was still in his wolf form and he nuzzled against her neck
she felt so happy and she realized how wrong she was- they could love her too!
even if she had to share them- she was alright with that as long as they loved her too
