What did I do?

As I smile my eyes meet with the book on the table. I walk to the table and grab the book. I open the book to find most pages looked confusing. As I walk around the table I flip through the pages. I sit and turn a page.

I sigh as I think "I'll never be able to understand this, let alone know what my power is."

I sigh as I turn another page. I clenched my fist and turn another page. My eyes widen to see a drawing of different plants. As I run my fingers across a drawing of a blue leaf with slightly light pink lines going in a certain pattern. Suddenly that very leaf pops out my wood bracelet. My eyes widen as I pull the leaf off. As I set the book down on the table I stare at the leaf. As I stood I run out the door I say "hey Nile?" As Nile shouts "yes I'm coming!" As Nile grabs medicine and bandages. I ask "everything okay?" Nile responds "no act,- Nile stops midsentence as his his widen. Nile asks "where did you get that leaf?" I ask "huh? Why?" Nile responds "I thought that was just children stories but I guess you're mother was right." My eyes widen as I say "my mom?" Nile explains "she was searching for that leaf so she could add it to pallia to create a healing flower." Nile turns as he grabs jars he adds "however I did think the children stories were a myth." As Nile walks off I look to the flower pinned to my dress. I turn back into Nile's living room as I pull the flower off my dress. I look to the flower in my right hand and the leaf in my left. I think "is it possible?" I put the leaf to the flower and almost instantly the flower suddenly wrapped itself in it's leaves as it continues to wrap. I gasp as I sigh I think "what did I do?"

As Nile steps in he sighs and I turn and I shut my hand. Nile had blood on his white shirt. My eyes widen as I ask "are you okay?" Nile replies "yes, I just got it on my shirt." Nile sighs and says "come on let's go to the bath shop." I ask "are you sure?" Nile nods as he turns. I look down to my hand and set the wrapped flower on the book. I turn and follow Nile, he walks out the small shop and straight out the marketplace.

As the marketplace wasn't that filled I was able to keep up with Nile.

Nile kept walking and I say "you tried you're best I know you did." Nile stops walking and I stop to as I add "you're the best doctor here and you know it." Nile replies "I'm the only doctor." I grab Niles hand as I respond "not anymore I work with you." Nile looks to me as he smiles he says "I didn't even say anything, so what can you read minds now with you're power." I laugh and I respond "nope I know you." Nile sighs and says "if only we had stronger resources we could make stronger medicine." As Nile continues walking my eyes widen and I think.

When Nile asks "you coming?" My eyes widen and I walk to Nile as I respond "yes." Nile steps into a large cottage. As I step in I hear a woman say "ah Nile I'm glad you came I've been wanting to,-" as Nile steps aside the woman finally sees me. As this ,blonde haired and green eyes, woman stops midsentence she glares at me. Nile says "we both just want to clean up and if you could wash our clothes I don't want this blood to stain." The woman nods as she replies "you know where the rooms are." As Nile starts walking more in I follow as I look around. I look down to see we were walking on stone yet the walls are wood. As Nile stops he says "go in there, leave you're clothes in the small room then go to the next room it should be empty." I nod as Nile turns he walks into the door behind him.

I step towards the door and open it to see a small room with only a bench and a table. As I step into the small room the door shuts behind me. I sigh and I think "I've never been here." I undress and leave my dress and under dress on the table.

As I step into the second room I put my arm across my chest. I walk around the wall and turn to see a rock bath. With plants growing from between the rocks and a slight steam raised slightly. I smile as I walk to the bath I slowly step in. My eyes widen to feel it warm. I start unwrapping the gauze starting on my legs. As I slip into the water I think "wow," dropping the last of the gauze on the edge just before the water. I sink into the water and come back up as my hair falls before my face. I sigh as I push my hair back and grab the soap bottle.

Soon I raised a cup over my head as water pours down my hair. I sigh in relief as I lean back I smile.

When the door opens and my eyes widen. As I sink into the water suddenly the woman from before steps in. The woman looks to me as I softly places my hands on the rock. As the woman glares at me I ask "yes?" The woman huffs as she walks back out. My eyes widen as I think "that's weird." I place my hands on the rock as I pull myself up.

As I step on the stone floor water pools. I walk around the wall and to the door. I step back into the small room. I shut the door and turn to find a different black cloth on the table. As I open it to see it's a shirt and pants. I slip into the pants as they fit quite tight they end just above my waist. I put on the shirt, I noticed it's a white long sleeve with a black vest on it. As I pull the shirt down it stops just before my bellybutton. My eyes widen as I look down I gasp as the middle of the shirt was a v neck. I slip on my flats as I try to pin the v neck.

As I step out the door I hear the woman ask "Nile why don't you stay?" Nile replies "I have to go to my shop could you please tell my daughter I'll be waiting for her." The woman responds "ah Nile such a sweetheart taking care of this problem you're whole life." Nile states "my daughter isn't a problem." The woman gasps as she quickly says "oh no of course not I just thought you would be,-" when the woman stops talking as she huffs. I clenched my fist as the woman asks "are you kidding me?" As I walk down the hall I step into the room. The woman glares at me as I walk to the door. As the woman says "Nile said he will meet you at you're cottage." I ask "oh yeah?" The woman replies "yes ma'am why would I lie to you?" I look to the woman to see she has a bright smile. I look down as I say "thank you," I step out the door.

As the door shut I clenched my fist. I think "why? How could she say it with a smile." Tears fill my eyes, I turn as I run down the dirt path.

When I crash into a chest as someone grabs my arms. I gasp as I look up to see Nile. Nile asks "what happened?" I look down as Nile grabs my hand as he pulls me softly. My eyes widen as Nile leads me to the marketplace. As the marketplace was quite full. Nile stops in the middle of the marketplace he asks "you see everyone here?" I look around as I reply "yes?" Nile suddenly shouts "excuse me everybody!" As everyone looks to us my eyes widen. Nile turns as he continues with "thank you I appreciate you all giving me you're attention I just wanted to say." Nile looks to me and he smiles as he continues "my daughter Elliane is joining me in running my shop if that bothers you then don't come by my shop." My eyes widen and Nile turns as he adds "it's about time I've put this to rest her name is Elliane not flower baby." As Nile turns to me he says "well come one we got a shop to clean up." As Nile turns to the shop walking off I look around to see people were still looking at us.

I walk to the shop and slowly step in to see Nile cleaning the table. As Nile grabs the glass bowl with the medicine I made he places it infront of him. I step more in and walk around Nile. Nile says "I'm going to test the medicine." I ask "really?" Nile nods as he pulls out a knife. My eyes widen as Nile puts the knife into his hand. I gasp as I say "what? No!" Nile stops as he explains "I have to test it." I ask "why like this?" Nile says "I have medicine right here but I'm sure it's gonna work Elliane." I reply "ah but,-" Nile interuped me by stating "this is how I test my own medicine to." I nod as Nile makes a small cut in his palm. Nile sets the knife down and grabs the tear drop. As blood spreads Nile puts the medicine right next to the cut. Nile says "that's why there's a flat side." I reply "ohh." Nile says "it helps with crushing to." I ask "really now? Why isn't it working?" Nile responds "sometimes it takes a second." When suddenly the cut closed and Nile says "see, you did it I knew you could." My eyes widen and Nile adds "it just takes a second because I'm not putting it directly on it does take longer." I reply "I see." Nile says "yeah let's go eat." I smile as Nile walks inside.

As I follow Nile he says "I have this new season for my food so I'm excited." I say "that's nice." Nile walks back from the kitchen as he held two containers and a glass bottle on top of the container's. I sit on the couch as I push my book aside with the wrapped flower above it. As Nile sits beside me he smiles and he places one container infront of me. I say "thank you." Nile says "of course." As Nile opens his container I clenched my fist and I ask "why were you going back to the bathhouse?" Nile sighs and responds "technically I never left just waited outside I know it's rude but I can't stand the owner." Nile was seasoning his food and I grab the container in front of me. As I open it I started to eat, Nile stirs his food and I eat. Nile asks "how was the delivery to Miss Luna?" I reply "good," as I smile. Nile smiles as he replies "that's amazing. I know it's going to be hard but over time the towns people will love you." I nod as I continue eating. Nile was eating and he responds "wow this is good." As Nile looks to me he says "you can try if you like." When a small blue flower grew out the wood bracelet on my arm. My eyes widen and I respond "no thank you." When the flower turns yellow. I think "whoa? That's interesting." Nile was eating and I continue eating. When Nile shuts his container as he clears his throat. As I look to Nile I eat the food in my hand. Nile stood as he walks to the kitchen. I shut my container when Nile says "Elliane no matter what anyone says or whatever happens I will always be here for you. You're my daughter Elliane." I smile and set my container on the table as Nile walks to the door he says "good night." I say "good night."

As I hear the door shut I lay back. I let out a sigh, thinking "today was good." When a loud crack suddenly happens making me jump as I sit up. I let out a breath and stand walking around the table. I step out the door and quickly step out the small shop. As rain falls on me I look up as I smile. I say "pink rain," and I twirl as I smile. When someone clears their throat I stop twirling as I see Liam with a basket in his hands. I smile as I look down. When Liam walks to me as he grabs my hand. My eyes widen as Liam pulls me he smiles. Liam twirls me as I stop in his arms. Liam was looking me in the eye as he says "Elliane." I respond "yes Liam." Liam says "I think I'm,-" when the door behind the food shop opens and Liam suddenly steps back. My eyes widen as Liam's mother steps out as she shouts "Liam?" Liam says "I'm sorry I,-" I interpret Liam by saying "it's fine." I turn back into the shop as I push the curtain closed. As I step into the house I sigh.

I plop onto the couch as I let out a breath I lay back. As water collects at my eyes I shut them and I think "Nile says it will take time." I turn on the couch and sigh. I flip on my other side as I stretch. I sigh again and flip on my back as I stare at the ceiling. I huff and face the back of the couch as I sigh again. I think "why can't I sleep? As Niles words pop back into my head. "I thought that was just children stories but I guess you're mother was right." My eyes widen as I turn looking to the wrapped flower on my book. I sigh as I face back to the couch.

As I shut my eyes, I suddenly feel a thump in my heart. My eyes widen as I turn to see the wrapped flower cracked open slightly and orange petals sticked out. I sit up, my eyes were locked on the flower. I stood, kneeling beside the table as I softly pull the leaves open. As I could only see orange petals I keep opening it to find a blue flower with pink veins. The middle of the flower had a bit of purple with a slight mist of pink floating above it. My eyes widen as Niles words run into my mind. "she was searching for that leaf so she could add it to pallia to create a healing flower." As I stand I run out the door as I grab Niles book of notes. As I flip through the book I stop on one page which read.

" When using flowers or large leaves cut first."

I set the book down as I look up to the glass bottles. As I grab the jars I look to the labels. Blue daisy mushrooms, white mushrooms filled with Pink rain water. As I set the jars down I keep looking.

As I have the vial of pink rain water, the jar of the pink soaked leaves and finally the jar of fire mushrooms. I grab a glass bowl which had a tear drop and cutter's. I walk into the house and quickly set everything on the table. As I grabbed the handle side of the cutters. I grab the blue flower as I look to the cutter's. Suddenly a second blue flower grew out of it. I simply cut it off with the cutters. As the blue flower lands in the glass bowl I put the other flower on my book. I grab the flower from the bowl and start cutting it up. As the flower pieces fall into the bowl I grab the jar of fire mushrooms. I drop two fire mushrooms in and close the jar as I set it down. I open the leaves jar and pull one out. As I hold the leaf in my hand I set the jar down and I shut my eyes. When a light yellow light glows before me.

I open my eyes to see a pink flower grew on the leaf.

The pink flower had a yellow center with a yellow mist just above the center. My eyes widen as I say "pink rain water flower, no way." As a second pink flower grew I cut it off. I drop the pink flower in with the leaves and I close it. I grab the pink flower and I start cutting it up. As the pieces fall into the glass bowl I smile and I grab the tear drop. I start crushing my mix with the tear drop. As everything crushes I stop and grab the vial. I open it as I put one drop of pink rain water. The mix glowed slightly it stops before I could mix it. My eyes widen and I mix as I think "does it need more or something?" I stop mixing and I start opening the vial. I drop one drop in the bowl as the mix slightly glowed it quickly fades. My eyes widen as I think "I'm just wasting it." I softly touch the mix when suddenly a thick vine sprouts out crushing the glass bowl as it spreads out into a large tree over me. As the vines fill the space above me I gasp. I reach up and softly touch the vine, it suddenly turns black as it withers away leaving just a faint black mist in the air. Suddenly a large seed lands infront of me crushing the pieces of glass that was left behind. My eyes widen as I reach towards the seed but stop. I pull my hand back as I clench my fist. I stood as I jump I say "I did it!" I stop as I look to the seed I think "well I'm not sure what I did." When suddenly sun pours in through the window and my eyes widen as I think "it's morning?" I look to the table as I think "wait I broke the glass bowl." As I look down I hold my hand. When Nile steps out his door. My eyes widen and Nile's eyes widen as he asks "what are you doing awake?" I reply "uh," as I look to the table. Nile walks to the restroom door as he steps in. I quickly kneel as I start picking up the rest of the glass piece's of the bowl. As a piece cuts my hand I gasp and drop all the pieces. When Nile steps out. My eyes widen as Nile walks to the kitchen as he asks "did you eat already?" I respond "uh." Nile looks to me and his eyes widen. I say "I broke you're bowl." As I hold up a small piece of glass Nile responds "I don't care about the bowl, what is that ball looking seed?" I say "oh yeah I was trying to make a healing medicine," as I look to the seed. Nile asks "whoa what happened to you're hair?" I ask "my hair?" As I pull a lock of my hair foward and I gasp to find my hair longer and the ends were slightly blue. I softly say "my hair..." Nile laughs as he says" you don't surprise me I swear." I smile and Nile asks "have you tried to plant it?" My eyes widen as I respond "no I don't think I should even touch it." Nile laughs as he opens his container. I smile as I add "I can't just plant this one it's to big." Nile suggests "try to make it smaller?" As he starts to eat my eyes widen and I placed my hands beside the seed. I shut my eyes and focus. When I hear a slight tap. I open my eyes to see a small seed that should fit in my palm. I smile as Nile steps up he says "good job now we test it." I smile and Nile steps out the door. I slowly grab the small seed as I follow Nile.

As Nile sets a pot on the table he smiles as he says "here." I step towards the table when the woman from the bathhouse steps in with a bag. My eyes widen and Nile says "good morning Jailynn." Jailynn smiles as she says "good morning Nile what are you doing this fine morning." Nile responds "gonna watch Elliane try to plant the seed she made." Jailynn replies "oh that's nice." Nile asks "what did you need?" Jailynn responds "I needed some crystals if you have any." Nile says "of course." Nile turns to the table as he grabs a jar. As Nile was bagging crystals and Jailynn puts the bag on the table as she asks "what does the plant do?" I respond "it should be a healing flower." Jailynn asks "should?" Nile adds "it will be." My eyes widen and I think "he believes in me so much." Nile hands Jailynn the bag as Jailynn holds out coins. Jailynn leaves as a guard steps in. I smile as it was the same guard from yesterday. The guard was limping as he sits on the table. Nile asks "what happened?" The guard sighs as he looks to me. Nile asks "Elliane could you give us a minute." I respond "of course."

I step outside the shop as the sun blinds me I shut my eyes. As the warm sun shines on me I couldn't help but smile.

As I open my eyes I instantly lost my smile when I see people giving me glares. I think "did they happen to start hating me more?" When I see it. Jailynn walking around whispering to people. My eyes widen as I look down. I clenched my fist as suddenly the curtain opens as the guard steps out with a bag and his leg wrapped up nicely. As the guard barely takes a step Nile stood beside me. I smile and Nile smiles as he asks "ready to test the seed?"

When Jailynn shouts "wait!" My eyes widen as people were starting to gather. Jailynn stops the guard as she states "the freak is trying to make some flower." Instantly I look down as people whisper among themselves. When Nile steps forward as he says "Jailynn what exactly do you hope do gain by this? We are testing something to change our medicine." The guard asks "so this is true Nile?" Nile crossed his arms as he says "Elliane has made a healing flower and Jailynn I expect you to apologize to my daughter, Elliane isn't a freak." Jailynn eyes widen as Nile turns back walking to me, yet Nile walks past me. I turn as my eyes widen. Nile walks back out with the pot of dirt as he sets it down. Nile says "Elliane is gonna show you right now." Nile looks to me and I gasp as I look around. Nile suddenly grabs shoulder as he says "hey you can do this." My eyes widen and I look down to the pot. I nod as I stand before the pot when Jailynn says "wait how are we sure this won't kill us." Nile says "I know it won't because this is a healing flower." Jailynn asks "how can you be so sure about it when she doesn't even seem sure about it?" Nile responds "you wanna know why? It's because that's my daughter I fully know just how amazing she is. So yeah I believe in her fully." Nile looks to me as he adds "Elliane you can do this I was just teaching you how to make medicine and you already did so much, now plant that seed." My eyes widen as I tear up I kneel before the pot. As people step back, I make a slight whole as I placed the seed in the dirt. I push the dirt over softly. As I shut my eyes I just breathe and I open them to see a small light blue vine was peeking out the dirt. Jailynn says "really? That's tiny." I clenched my fist as I placed my hand above the plant. Nile asks "why are you still here just leave." Jailynn replies "I can't wait to see the look of disappointment on you're face." When Liam states "I think it will work." My eyes widen as I look up to see Liam looking at me. I smile as-
