"I, Lucas, will go against the heavens if needed, destroy hell and the universe if needed, but I'll not let harm befall on my loved ones again."
…..
Seven Divine Rainbows, Elysium.
A divine palace stood tall amongst the various different types of rainbows.
At the top most floor of this tower was a handsome black-haired man, sitting cross-legged.
But there was something off about him.
The man's arms, legs, shoulder, and basically his entire body apart from face was chained to the various different points in the room.
The chains were huge and heavy golden chains and they also had many talismans attached to them.
The handsome man appeared as if he wouldn't hurt even an ant, but the amount of chains that sealed him and the aura he let out, it just indicated one thing.
Power.
Absolute power.
The chains weren't holding a man, but an entity that, if freed, could annihilate everything.
These chains were the only thing ensuring the safekeep of all lives in the universe by sealing the absolute powerhouse.
The handsome man was also none other than Lucas Astaroth.
More precisely, he was Chaos.
This was the original body of Chaos which only had a bit of soul and consciousness intact.
Suddenly…
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The chains dangled out of nowhere and a loud metal hitting metal sound was heard.
The original chaos body shook slightly and a silver ray of light shot out from it.
…..
Nyx Village, Kingdom of Siltrosso.
Lucas had just finished making his oath and was gazing at the moon. However, right at this moment, a silver beam shot towards him from the moon and hit his body.
"What the fuck!?" Lucas exclaimed.
Lucas felt something strange in his body. But just a few more seconds later, everything returned to normalcy.
"What happened?" Lucas questioned himself.
He checked himself to see if anything went wrong with him or for anything strange that may have happened, but he wasn't able to find anything.
A few more minutes of looking around and Lucas still found nothing. He gave up in the end and got back to his bed.
He closed his eyes and thought of exploring the options of the system present. He once again got back to the main menu and looked at what all things were available.
[Status]
"So there's still just status." Lucas thought maybe something would change in the system because of that silver beam of light but it was all for naught.
Lucas let go of thinking about the silver ray completely now and the opened status tab.
Name: Lucas Astaroth
Age: 19
Race: Human
Title: N/A
Class: F
MP: 10,000
Lifespan: 100
Physique: Mortal
Soul: (???)
"Hmm? What's with the question marks in the end? Why is it not showing any words or numbers?" Lucas said as he saw the last option in the status tab.
He fiddled around the system a bit more and found nothing to be present there apart from this one option.
"What a stupid system…" he said after noticing there wasn't anything present there in it.
"Meh. Whatever." Lucas said and went back to sleep after getting disappointed with his cheat.
Next morning.
Lucas woke up feeling refreshed and as he walked, he noticed that all the pain was gone from his butt.
He rubbed his butt to check whether what he was feeling was true or not and realized that it was indeed true.
He also recalled the events that happened last night and his memories were a bit foggy. He wasn't fully awake and so he didn't remember much of what had happened.
But what he did remember was that he had a system and it was useless.
"Well… can't do anything about it. This is just life. It'll always be unfair." He said and moved out of his room, towards the living room to meet his mother and sister.
When he arrived in the living room, he saw his mother and sister sitting together on the couch with a slightly thick blanket wrapped around them and talk.
Leya and Lucy noticed Lucas arrive.
Leya was the first to speak and said, "good morning, baby. Did you sleep well?"
"Good morning, mom. Yes, I did sleep well." Lucas nodded.
"Good morning, little brother." Lucy said immediately after Lucas finished.
"Good morning, big si– Lucy." Lucas changed sentence mid way and said.
He was bullied by her yesterday into calling her big sis, he did that to get out of that situation, but now was different. He was perfectly healthy and fine, he could go toe to toe with her and didn't fear her. So of course he wouldn't obey her now.
Lucy narrowed her eyes and glared at Lucas as he didn't call her big sis as she demanded yesterday. As she looked at him, her mind automatically formulated plans on how to make him call her that.
Leya didn't feel anything off from this small talk of her two children. It was normal for them to banter.
Lucas ignored Lucy's glare and just walked close to the couch.
Lucy stopped after coming in front of the two. He didn't say anything to them and simple made his way inside the blanket from the middle, pushing his mother and sister to the side of the couch.
"Hey! Get your stinky self out of here!" Lucy cried out.
"Shoo fatto. Make way for me. I wanna be with mom." Lucas replied and successfully sat in the middle after pushing Lucy away to the side.
Leya was pushed too slightly at the start but not much. Lucas only pushed Lucy to sit in the middle.
He then hugged Leya from the side and placed his head on her shoulder.
"Mhmm… so warm. This feels very cozy." Lucas commented.
Lucy glared at him hatefully from the side. It was her a few moments ago spending time with their mother and she knew very well how comfortable it was. What Lucas was doing now made her feel slightly jealous of him.
Leya chuckled noticing the two's banter. She patted Lucas's head to make him feel extra cozy and said to Lucy,
"You can come on this side, baby."
The space beside her was free and she was asking Lucy to be there.
Lucy nodded. She got up from her place but before leaving, pinched Lucas on his love handle.
"Oww." Lucas cried out and looked beside him, only to find Lucy to have rushed to their mother's side and hide in her embrace.
'She's becoming very naughty. She needs to be punished it seems.'
