Regina chuckled, "Governor,... I believe your son has already told you his future wife's name, no?" Her friendly tone was gone and her voice was rude and arrogant. "H-he hasn't." Kane stammered. "Alright,... I'll let you know after lunch." From the way she spoke, Kane already had a bad feeling about her.
The lunch was served, after examining it properly, Regina found no problem with it. But she still didn't bother eating. "You don't like the food?" Kane asked. "It's not that. I ate so much at breakfast, there's no space for lunch." She answered. "Okay. Where are your parents? When is this wedding taking place?" Kane asked. Regina stayed silent.
Opening her purse, she brought out a small bag of sugar. "Pour me wine." Dimitri picked up the wine bottle and filled her glass. She took a long sip of her wine, savoring the flavor. "Expensive." she said. "But I prefer to have some sugar in my wine." Regina added the crystals into the wine and stirred it with a tea spoon.
"Cheers!" She raised her glass for Dimitri to clink. Just as their glasses were about to meet, she dragged his glass down with her other hand and splashed her wine all over his face. Dimitri let out a shrill scream. Then she pulled out a dagger from her purse and stabbed Kane's right hand, pinning it to the table. Kane let out a petrifying scream.
"Why are you screaming? I'm just getting started." Regina said spinning a hand cuff on her index finger. Standing behind him, she cuffed his neck to his chair. "Move too much and you die immediately." Walking to Dimitri, she cuffed his hands behind his chair. Kane tried to remove the dagger with his other hand.
"What do you think you're doing?" She asked. Ruthlessly, she stabbed his other hand above the first hand with a small throwing knife. "If you haven't noticed, there will be no wedding." Gina said.
"Listen closely,..." her voice turned cold. "...this is just a warning. If you stop all this nonsense, I might spare your life. But if you want to keep playing games, don't except me to play nice. I'm giving you a chance now,... Leave my mother ALONE!!!!" Her voice held nothing but authority.
After leaving her warning she walked towards the door. "Oh, and by the way, my name is Regina Montez." Then she left the mansion. Both men screamed loudly but to no avail as all the bodyguards were having tea in the backyard.
At the bakery
"How was lunch?" Marian asked. She was packaging bagels and croissants when Gina arrived. "Fun." replied Gina picking a croissant. "I deformed a man's face with caustic soda and pined his father's hands to their dining table. What more can I ask for?" Gina took a bite from the croissant.
"Okay. You must be hungry." Marian said. "Why do you say that?" Regina asked with a full mouth. "This is your fifth croissant." Marian snatched the pastry from her.
"Welcome to Baker's Delight. What would you like?" Marian asked the customer that just walked in. "A taste of her." Andre mumbled softly as his eyes scanned Regina's body. Her right leg was fully exposed by the split of the gown.
Her face was covered and she greedily devoured a few croissants. A crumb of the pastry stuck at the side of her face. "Regina! Eat like a lady!" Marian scolded. "To hell with manners." the girl replied. "Sorry. What was your order?" Marian asked Andre.
"I'd like a baguette and four croissants." "Here. That would be $30." said Marian handing him his order. "Thanks." replied Andre. He paid and left reluctantly. "I would like a proper meal." Gina ordered. "I warned you not to skip breakfast." Marian scolded. "Give me food!" Gina ordered. "Did you drink on an empty stomach?" Marian asked. Without replying, Regina blacked out.
"She should be fine in a few minutes.I've injected her with the pill." the doctor said. "Please make sure to feed her once she wakes up." he added. 15 minutes later, she still hadn't woken up. "Why isn't she up yet?" Abby asked worriedly pacing round the living room.
"Why would she go drinking on an empty stomach? Doesn't she know the effect it has on her?" complained Rea. "I very much know but my glass of wine was too full." replied Gina. "She's awake! What were you thinking? Why didn't you eat breakfast?" asked Abby.
"Have you turned into my mum?" asked Gina. "This is no time for jokes!" exclaimed Abby. "Here,... eat up." A plate of Bruschetta was placed before her. Without complaining, Gina ate the food. "Never scare me like that ever in your life or else I'll kill you." Abby said hugging her sister tightly. The first time this happened, she nearly lost her sister.
