The Black Snake of Vlasgar

In a beautiful world, oxymoronic to the corruption within it, Felix, a young mage inexperienced with his innate ability, fights to survive. After his family's brutal massacre, he desires revenge yet lacks the power to fight. Rejected from academies for his lack of power, things appear hopeless. Living in the town of Vlasgar, the home of magical failures, he mocks his own pathetic state. He finds a new family with these people, even if they mock his lack of power, then once again, his family is massacred and he remains once more as the sole survivor.

A desire for change erupts within him where he will do anything to gain power. Will he succeed? Or will he fall?
