It was pointless to go into how many ways the night had gone from amazing to messed up. "There was a miscommunication, and Jessey took off." I can't seem to locate her."


"Are you certain she didn't return home?"


"I just went to her home, and her phone is going to voice mail." She was nearly rushing away from the club the last time I saw her." He's the one. Again. This was turning into a habit he could do without. He'd assumed they'd grown over her hasty judgements and snobbish demeanor. It seemed like it was something they'd never get over. "Where could she go?"


"Her brother is now deployed, so my guess is either Roxanne's or her parents'."
