Effect of the blessings

Since the gods had now been acquainted with each other, they all decided to get started and went to their own spaces.

They would watch the exits and find those who they felt deserved their blessings and curses and who now begin actively interacting with the race.

This was the same for jack as it would lead him to talk to his race much more from now on and he would come to terms with being seen as a god even if he didn't think he was one.

So the Jackrixis started to become more religious as they realized that overnight some had gotten smarter while others got stronger and so on.

It was also the opposite with some rixis who had a bad reputation and started getting weaker or getting worse personalities. All of it seemed to have been from the eyes of the rixis punishment by their god for whatever thing they did wrong.

Some were simply disliked more than before and got less help from those around them and were isolated from their group and family.

While other more zealous followers who were near those with worse curses simply did what all religions do to people they don't like, they set them on fire.

This time would go down in the Jackrixis history books as the bloody awakening in which their races evolved and got stronger, smarter, and lived longer as well.

They also got the proof of their gods, and they were always looking forever since they stumbled upon that feeling they had found within them.

But of course, when you mix a race of hunters and fighters with a splash of the tribal age of the species and finally give proof, they have gods.

Well, let's just say that someone just lit a match in a room full of gasoline as those who didn't believe before could now see the results from their god's influences.

Wouldn't you believe in a god if all of a sudden your brother, who let's say wasn't the brightest person, suddenly was smarter than you?

Or the local elder who was nice but nothing special all of a sudden had a supernatural aura around him now that calmed those around her.

This was happening to the many different tribes in the lands of the Jackrixis, and all who had blessings stood out, and we looked at them in awe.

This was because these people must have done something good to get such gifts from those up above and probably like that person.

This led to people trying to imitate and copy these people, hoping that by being like them, they would also have a better chance of getting blessed.

One of these people was the Jackrixis from before the large red male who had won the completion and had been given the coveted blessings.

You see, even though the tribes and people were spread out, they still had decent connection and communication with each other since the rixis still like exploring.

So it was quickly understood that there were 5 blessings available and 5 curses and those who were blessed. Somehow, they knew what their blessing was and who gave it to them, which gave them the holy names of the gods.

The Jackrixis now knew the name of their gods of the realms they rule over, and so they started to create rudimentary shrines and carved their names in stone.

The Red male rixis was seen as the holiest out of all rixis that would ever live, and he was graced with being the first Jackrixis to receive the blessing of the god of civilization.

This was procured special because the god of civilization was Jack, the creator and leader of the gods.

This, of course, gave the male rixis great pride but also honour in being chosen out of all the rixis in the lands and with the blessings help he got to work.

Since Jack's blessing improved the leadership by 50% for 3 months, the rixis went to work, making his tribe more organized and efficient.

There were originally only 20 to 30 of them, but with his help finding line wanders who fit the style, he managed to convince them to join, making them now.

The largest tribe so far with 40 members, and they were quite a sight since they were all large rixis who had some type of red on them.

The leader also began making sure that there was plenty of food in the tribe just in case something would happen.

This was the great thing about true leadership and the strength the blessing gave its user, which was that leadership allowed you to. Look out for the needs of your people or forwards and make you strive to be better and think of the future.

This rixis by no means was a genius who knew the right answer, but simply with the help of the blessing, he got more trust from his people and thought more logically for the group and its survival.

It was also a fact that this tribe was one of the most loyal to the gods, more specifically to Jack God of civilization.

The leader made sure they all prayed and worshipped daily and a minimum of two times, with the most zealous going up into the 20s and 30s.

Although the male wanted to help his tribe thrive, he also wanted to please his lord and creator, which he did by making a better tribe.

But also, in other ways, it seemed that they believed in slaying and gifting anything in his name.

They focused heavily on the blood and would drench themselves in it, looking truly terrifying, and they slaughtered their way through the plains to please their god.

This didn't mean they didn't pray to the others gods as they did know it was foolish to not respect them as their God made them for a reason.

But in the end, the most worship would go to Jack with each god having a group who worship specifically them, and Jack.

There were variants with some groups worshipping Nyx and Jack or Themis and Jack while some worship all 4 gods equally and Jack, which was the running theme.

But there were some others who, in a sense, didn't worship Jack, but not in the way you would think it was like this.

They would only worship one god but still respect and understand Jack's role as overseer to the gods seeing Jack as more of a being. Who didn't care to be worshipped and made the gods watch over them and mostly just watched from a distance.

This also would eventually lead to clashes of beliefs and religions in the race as some beloved gods were more important and others were stronger.

This would be around for a long time as different sects and factions battled it out for what they believed is the true way to worship and who to worship.
