Chapter 34 Electric shock (Rewritten)

Stephen smiled at the security guard and walked over to Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow, who were engaged in conversation while walking.

"Excuse me."

Stephen stood in front of the two with a smile, and they both stopped, looking at him with confusion. Cisco Ramon asked, "Is there a problem?"

"Oh, nothing major. I just wanted to ask for your help in creating something."

"What?" Cisco Ramon was taken aback and chuckled. "Sorry, but I don't know you."

"That's not important right now. I simply need you to make a portable sonic device for me. The design should resemble a necklace, and it should be compact. However, I don't have any materials or compensation to offer. So, you'll have to figure it out on your own. Can you complete it within half an hour?" Stephen continued to smile as he made his request.

Cisco Ramon frowned. Had he just encountered a madman?

"Sorry, but I won't be able to do anything for you. Please move out of the way."

"Are you sure?" Stephen asked again.

"Yes, I'm sure. So, kindly step aside." Cisco Ramon repeated firmly.

"Very well then." Stephen sighed in disappointment. He slowly raised his right hand, and in an instant, crackling electric currents filled the air. The blue light reflected on Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow's astonished faces. Stephen asked once again, seemingly reluctant, "Now, can it be done?"

Cisco Ramon stared blankly at Stephen's electrified hand. Superpowers? This is a superpower! Cisco Ramon's reaction wasn't one of fear; instead, excitement and happiness appeared on his shocked face as he quickly inquired, "How did you do that? Can you generate electricity at will? What's the maximum current you can produce? Doesn't the electricity affect you too?"

Seeing Cisco Ramon's excitement and his desire to experience the ability firsthand, Stephen's hand followed the security guard's movement as he drew his gun from its holster.

From Stephen's finger, lightning surged and instantly struck the security guard.

Amidst the screams and trembling, the security guard gradually collapsed and lost consciousness.

"What..."

Cisco Ramon finally reacted and instinctively shielded Caitlin Snow in front of him. "What... What are you doing? Don't cause trouble here, or we... we'll call the police."

"I didn't mean to create a scene, so please don't be alarmed. I just wanted you to help me create a sonic device." Stephen looked at Caitlin Snow, who was silently trembling and attempting to retrieve her phone from her bag. He shook his head helplessly and raised his hand, allowing the electric current to flow out.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

Caitlin Snow screamed as she too was struck by the current, feeling the shockwave transmitted through her body.

Boom!

The electric current dissipated, and Caitlin Snow lost consciousness, while Cisco Ramon stumbled backward, collapsing to the ground with weakened legs.

"In half an hour, I want to see the finished product. Can you manage that?" Stephen approached and lifted the unconscious Caitlin Snow, then turned and walked away after addressing Cisco Ramon.

"Caitlin!"

Cisco Ramon twitched slightly and reached for his phone to call the police but was restrained by someone who helped him up.

"Professor Wells." Cisco Ramon looked at Harrison Wells, the owner of the cutting-edge laboratory and his mentor, and exclaimed excitedly, "Caitlin, Caitlin was taken by the electric shocker madman."

The electric shock madman...

Cisco Ramon's habit of giving people names had deeply ingrained itself in his soul.

Harrison Wells's face twitched slightly, and he nodded solemnly. "I know, I saw everything. But how did he find you?"

"I don't know. I don't know him at all. He suddenly approached me and asked for help in creating a sonic device. He had no materials or compensation to offer, and he only gave me half an hour to complete it." Cisco Ramon explained hastily.

"If he came for the sonic device, then Caitlin should be safe for now. Don't call the police. You can work on creating the sonic equipment. I'll try to find him." Harrison Wells patted Cisco Ramon's shoulder, offering reassurance. "Caitlin will be fine, don't worry."

Cisco Ramon nodded fervently. "I'm on it."

Back in the lab, Cisco Ramon began crafting the sonic equipment, while Harrison Wells searched for Caitlin's whereabouts on the computer, his expression grave.

Meanwhile,

On the rooftop of a residential building near the cutting-edge laboratory, Caitlin regained consciousness after being stunned.

As she opened her eyes, Caitlin saw Stephen standing nearby. Startled, she yelled and hastily moved away. Stephen didn't approach her but looked at the panicked Caitlin Snow and apologized, "Maybe it's because I recently acquired a new ability, and I was eager to test it out. Lately, I've developed a strange fondness for electrocuting people. I'm sorry for stunning you."

"Don't come any closer, stay away!" Caitlin slumped, seemingly unable to comprehend Stephen's words clearly. She waved her hands frantically and shouted loudly.

"Relax, I won't come over. I just..."

"Don't come near me!"

"..."

Stephen took a deep breath and sparked an electric light in his hand, his gaze turning cold. "Shut up, or I will electrocute you!"

Caitlin Snow froze in terror, her red lips tightly sealed.

"Don't come closer, don't come any closer. Now, tell me, did I move from here just now?" Stephen spoke angrily to Caitlin Snow. "What's wrong with you people? Do you enjoy being abused? Can't you even listen to me? Why do you always have to open your mouth?"
