Chapter 36 Cisco, you really are a genius! (Rewritten)

After listening to Cisco Ramon's explanation, Stephen moved his hand and patted him on the shoulder with satisfaction. "You really are a genius. I've found the right person for the job. Thank you."

"It's fine, but mainly because the time was too tight. Otherwise, I could have done better." After hearing Stephen's praise and gratitude, Cisco Ramon couldn't help but feel a little regretful, thinking that more functions could have been added if there had been more time.

"Oh, by the way, where did you put the locator?" Stephen asked casually, as if remembering it inadvertently.

"It's on the side of the metal ring--."

Cisco Ramon blurted it out without thinking too much, and immediately regretted it, realizing he had revealed the device's location. Seeing Harrison Wells's speechless expression, he tentatively asked Stephen, "Can you pretend you didn't hear that?"

"I'm afraid not." Stephen shook his head and directly removed the black metal ring, handing it to Cisco Ramon.

Cisco Ramon covered his face and took it.

"Okay then, goodbye everyone. Ta-ta."

Stephen waved his hand and turned away.

Seeing him leave like that, Cisco Ramon couldn't help asking, "Shouldn't we do something? Maybe call the police?"

"He would have left by the time the police arrived. Where could we find him?" Harrison Wells shook his head. "As long as Caitlin is okay, let's go back to the lab."

Back in the laboratory, Harrison Wells asked Caitlin Snow about Stephen. After confirming that she wasn't injured, he comforted her with a few words and left.

Meanwhile, Stephen stood at the hotel door, where he had a meeting with Helena. After waiting for a few minutes, he heard the sound of a car engine in the distance. The car approached, and Helena parked the car and walked towards him. "You were really waiting for me here."

"Why not?" Stephen smiled brightly.

"Let's go then." Helena took Stephen's arm, and they both entered the hotel.

They paid, took the room card, and as soon as they entered the elevator, Helena voluntarily hooked her arm around Stephen's neck and kissed him passionately.

Their kisses were hot and intense.

After getting off the elevator, they found their room and opened the door. Stephen closed the door silently, and Helena stepped back slightly, walking towards the bed, panting.

"Are you sure about this? If somehow my father finds out, you'll be in trouble."

"Let's worry about that later. For now, let's take off that cloth," Stephen replied simply.

Helena smiled and slowly, but seductively, opened the clasp of her skirt from the back. The skirt fell off instantly, and then she took the initiative to embrace Stephen again.

There was no creaking sound. After all, this was a high-class hotel. But even if there were, it couldn't possibly drown out Helena's voice. It was wild. The hoarse shouts from the depths seemed to let everyone know what she was doing. The rush of adrenaline was accompanied by a sense of cruelty, and Helena seemed to be immersed in a twisted psychological pleasure.

After a long time, Helena, who had caught her breath, lay on the bed and smiled softly. "It feels wonderful. I'm a bit worried about what my father might do. So don't let my father harm you."

"What you worry about will torment you. Expectations are the root of all pain. I'm happy to help you relieve the pain," Stephen said, smiling brightly.

Helena's smile froze slightly, as if she had remembered something. After a while, she shook her head. "First of all, you have to survive to do all those things."

After speaking, she limped towards the bathroom.

Helena had initially thought two hours would be more than enough, but now more than two hours had passed since she left the hotel and was preparing to return to Starling. It was already dark when she arrived back in Starling. Helena parked the car on the side and turned her head to look at Stephen. "Okay, then tell me your phone number."

"Don't worry, I'll find you when I think of you." Stephen shook his head and said.

"Why?" Helena asked unhappily.

Stephen smiled and waved, getting out of the car.

"I'll find you first!" Helena yelled after him, but Stephen had disappeared into the night on the street.

Helena snorted and started the car to go home.

As soon as she arrived home, she saw her father sitting in the living room with a sullen face. Helena gave him a blank expression and prepared to go upstairs.

"Stop!"

"Aren't you going to explain to me where you went?"

"Don't worry, I didn't go to kill or set anything on fire."

"You..." Frank Bertinelli walked up to Helena and slapped her.

Smack!

The sound was crisp.

Frank Bertinelli glared angrily at his daughter. "You have to remember that you are my daughter. No matter what I do, you are my daughter. That cannot be changed. You better understand this as soon as possible."

Helena covered her face and watched coldly as her father went upstairs.

"Find out her whereabouts for me. I want to know where she's been and who she was with during this time!" Frank Bertinelli turned his head and shouted at the butler.

"Yes, sir." The butler lowered his head in response.

He wanted to know what his daughter had done and who she had been with. Similarly, Felicity also wanted to know who Stephen had been with and what he had been doing. When she came back from work and found Stephen wasn't home, she started to worry. As a result, when Stephen returned, she started questioning him. As she approached him, she caught a whiff of a perfume that didn't belong to him.

"Who was she?" Felicity pushed her glasses and asked Stephen seriously.
