Chapter 152 Bald, Lex Luther!
Lex Luthor touched his hair and chuckled. "Although this setting sounds interesting, as far as I know, you and Superman are called 'Super strong,' right? This name is really beneath you. Since you're not bald, this portrayal is probably inaccurate!"
"Trust me, only you with a bald head truly embody Lex Luthor!" As Superman's long-standing nemesis, Lex Luthor's bald image is deeply ingrained in people's minds. Could it be that growing long hair hinders intelligence? Going bald might even raise one's IQ. As an ordinary human, Lex Luthor's achievements in the comics aren't much lower than Batman's.
Particularly, the exoskeleton armor he developed using kryptonite caused Superman significant trouble. The movie 'Batman vs. Superman' was also his brainchild, and he used Zod's corpse and Kryptonian technology to create Doomsday, leading to Superman's demise! But what Stephen admires most is that he and Superman have a son!
Superboy, Connor Kent! He was created by Lex Luthor using cloning technology. Half of his genes came from Superman, and half came from Lex Luthor.
The truth is that the enemies who fell in love and killed each other are much more intriguing than the Batman and Joker duo. At least they have no sons!
Stephen placed the green kryptonite on the table and said with a chuckle, "This is called kryptonite. It's the greatest weakness of those aliens known as Kryptonians. When Kryptonite is near them, they lose their invulnerability, becoming as vulnerable as ordinary people. Currently, most of the kryptonite on Earth is in my possession. As long as you shave your head, I'll permit you to use this kryptonite to create any cold weapon you like, giving you the opportunity to study and analyze it."
"It seems like I'm assisting you for free," Lex Luthor said slowly.
"I believe many would eagerly vie for this opportunity," Stephen replied with a light chuckle.
"Deal!" Lex Luthor gazed at the kryptonite with excitement. He rubbed his hands together and approached Stephen, holding the kryptonite. "Why isn't it affecting you?"
"Last night, even though the A.R.G.U.S. meeting was under martial law, I'm aware you defeated Superman. You possess similar abilities to him. Can I assume that General Zod might be mightier than Superman? Perhaps he too can resist the influence of kryptonite?" Lex Luthor looked at Stephen and suddenly smiled. "Or maybe you're not a Kryptonian but have replicated his abilities? You made Lois Lane informed about Superman to the world to lure him out, so you could copy his abilities."
"You're more valuable for research than this stone," Lex Luthor stated, his eyes burning as he looked at Stephen. After a while, he sighed. "It's a shame you won't allow me to study you, and since we have nothing to do with each other, I'll have to let it go."
Turning around, Lex Luthor looked at Carol Ferris. "I'd like to see Superman."
"That's impossible!" Superman's existence is very unique, and naturally, she can't let just anyone see or touch him.
Lex Luthor shook the kryptonite. "I don't need to remind you that the best way to study it is to experiment on a Kryptonian, and currently, Superman is the best and only test subject, right?"
After a brief moment of hesitation, Carol Ferris got up and left the office to consult her superiors.
"While you have this opportunity, examine it carefully. If the chance arises, I might let you do something interesting," Stephen got up and walked over to Lex Luthor, patting him on the shoulder. Then he turned to the ailing-looking Mercy Graves. "Come and help him get a haircut."
Mercy Graves glanced at Lex Luthor and nodded slightly.
Da da da.
The sound of high heels echoed, and Mercy Graves exited the room. It didn't take her long to bring and use the hairdressing equipment to shave Lex Luthor's head. Watching clumps of golden hair fall to the ground, Lex Luthor's expression betrayed a tinge of regret. Despite accepting the condition, anyone in his situation would feel a sense of loss.

When Lex Luthor revealed his now bald head, looking like an egg, Stephen swiftly snapped a photo with his mobile phone. Carol Ferris opened the door and beheld Lex Luthor's new look. She, too, was slightly taken aback. After a brief pause, she remarked, "The higher-ups have approved your request. Someone will come to escort you to see Superman."
"Good!"
Poor Superman was unaware that Lex Luthor was holding kryptonite with a curious intent to conduct a 'friendly' study on him.
Meanwhile, the outside world grappled with how to deal with the appearance of aliens. The name Kal-El had become the most frequently mentioned name on the Internet, on TV, and in casual conversations.
Everyone was engaged in discussions about what to do, where Kal-El was, his purpose for being on Earth, whether he should be handed over to the aliens, and what to do in case of war.
Stephen had only one reaction to this news: eat spicy chips and worry about nothing! After all, excessive deliberation might not yield any substantial solutions.
It wasn't just the general public talking about this; many known and unknown superheroes were preparing in their respective cities. After all, no one knew where the Kryptonians might appear.
The hotel where Stephen had stayed the previous night had been temporarily commandeered, and everyone had been evacuated to make way for military personnel. After leaving the Lex Group, the three Stephens returned to the hotel.
Stephen engaged in conversation with Lois Lane and Carol Ferris, with a particular focus on Carol. Although her official title was Major, she currently served as the general's secretary and was a remarkable figure in her own right.
Her father, Kal Ferris, owned Ferris Airlines, which had a substantial market value. The company not only developed new aircraft independently but also sold them to the military and other sectors, in addition to constructing numerous airports.
Ferris Aircraft, Inc. was located in Central City. In the television series, The Flash, the hero gained his abilities for testing and was later rescued by Cisco Ramon in the middle and late stages of the show at Ferris Airport. Carol was likely the wealthiest woman that Stephen had encountered thus far.
"Is Lois your girlfriend?" After a while of conversation, the group had become more acquainted, and Carol Ferris was less reserved.
"I do have a girlfriend, but it's not her," Stephen replied, glancing at Lois Lane with a chuckle.
