He pulled her wrists pulling her close to him, moved one of his hands on her waist and another one on the back of her neck and softly placed his lips on hers and kissed her.

"Okay, let's go. I will drop you home," said Jae-Hwa and both the girls started gathering all the packets kept near their feet.

They started moving towards the car when Nivritti's eyes fell on a bookstore. A tiny dimly lit store tucked away in the hustle and bustle of luxury stores, high-end restaurants, and spacious cafes. A twinkle appeared in her eyes.

"Oh, why didn't I think of this sooner? I am an idiot," shouted Nivritti and facepalmed, hard.

"What? What? Did you forget something?" asked Jae-Hwa.

"Yeah, a gift," replied Nivritti with a huge smile on her face and crossed the road almost running. She didn't mind that she bumped into almost a hundred people while trying to get to the other side of the road.
