“Well, I'm sorry. We made an effort to conceal what we were doing, but it seems that our efforts were not particularly successful.”

Clare responded with a chuckle and a “No, you didn't” as she emphasized her point.

“Shit, I'm sorry honey.”

Clare said to her that it seemed like she was having a great time based on how she looked.

“Clare!” She was reprimanded by Christine.

“I just wanted to let you know that I was there for the whole affair!” Clare informed her of this while feigning annoyance.

“Honey, please forgive me. “I hope I didn't ruin your reputation for the rest of your life,” Christine said to her.

Clare took a break.

“No mum, you didn't scandalize me. You just made me understand what I'm losing out on.”

“What exactly do you mean by that?”

Clare addressed her mother in a direct manner, “Mom, I watched you having an orgasm.”
