Christine laughed.

“Anyway, I have just enough time to drive home, get some things, and then leave for the airport. I hope that's enough time!” She informed him, “I'll be back Sunday afternoon.”

“Oh wow! That is really quick. Too awful. He expressed his regret to her by saying, “I would have loved to have seen you before you departed.”

“Babe, I know it would have been wonderful, but it just isn't possible.” She informed him of the situation, saying, “We have this deposition that has to be done, and this weekend is the only time we can do it.”

“Well, I suppose that means I'll see you on Sunday.”
