After the events of two days ago, nature continued with its natural course but with a new predator in the food chain.

Two rabbits with horns similar to normal rabbits on earth were in their burrow guarding and protecting their young.

The male and female were starving and waiting for their imminent natural death because of their offspring, these rabbits had a behavior that would be considered strange by their fellow rabbits on earth because in breeding their babies started out carnivorous, the parents died protecting them and the semi-formed babies ate their corpses, then being full grown they became full adults and being herbivores, they lived and then when the mating season came they got a mate and repeated the cycle.

This time the parents will meet the same fate only this time it will not be natural.

The rabbits suddenly felt a trembling above them, they went directly to their young and covered them with their bodies in an attempt to protect them, as time went by the trembling increased in intensity until it stopped.

The rabbits calmed down a bit thinking that this was not a day to die but they were still cautious and worried that it would happen again.

Then suddenly the roof of the burrow was destroyed a white hand with sharp claws grabbed the female and pulled her at full speed in his direction shrieks began to flood the air, the male shot up trying to retrieve the female biting the hand as hard as he could.

Unfortunately the hand did not stop its action and its teeth slowly broke before the useless effort, then another hand went towards the male, this time cutting it in half.

The female's screeching ceased but then there was the sound of something chewing.

A creature poked its head into the hole watching the hatchlings sticking out a long purple tongue and licking its mouth.

Sticking its head in, the creature eats the young without any courtesy or mercy by tearing and biting them with its mouth.

At the end of the act, the creature raises its head again through the hole after, of course, developing a kind of horn similar to that of the horned rabbit.

Mc POV:

These two days I have investigated all the creatures in the area and found a lair,there are approximately 159 species of which all have at least 10 subdivisions and my lair is on the north side of the crater and is a cave of 10x10 m,the crater I use it as a starting point so I don't get lost.

I have researched and stuffed several species including carnivorous red boars,silver wolves and a peculiar specimen that name moon panther there are more species but I am not sure if I can kill them I have not hunted herbivores except 2 adult horned rabbits and 10 babies.

The features I have acquired are the hard skin of the wild boar along with its muscles, also a joint between the agile but light skeleton of a rabbit and the skeleton of a panther, also another joint was between the flexible and versatile muscles of the silver wolves and the moon panther, second to last the horn of the horned rabbits, I also got the claws of a pentera and most importantly a mouth.

A mouth that I developed by dissecting and learning from the silver wolves.

A peculiar fact about my ability is that I can eliminate my adaptations at will but by learning them I can make them appear whenever I want.

When I acquired my mouth I was not hungry because I had not acquired a stomach or any type of organ other than skin, I don't even have veins the only thing I have is skin and a brain which is even stranger than my nervous system I mention this because my nervous system is very strange because it doesn't need anything not even blood to send messages to my body, the point is that the only thing the mouth added was a way of attacking and an improved sense of taste which unfortunately I don't know shared with my ability to feel but that convinced me to try horned rabbits and now I hunt them as a hobby.

So I used that to my advantage by cloning the salivary system of the panthers using it as a method of protection for the throat I created and taking advantage of the space inside me to create a space to store carcasses, it is an effective and fast method to move them so they do not spoil, so when you get to a place you do not waste the dissection material.

Meanwhile I was on a hunt with a particularly common species on this site, a snake that I call a ghost snake, it can camouflage itself like a chameleon and measures a total of 15 m long and a meter high and wide normally.

It was in a tree ready to attack using the surprise movement when the specimen of one of the snakes will finish its battle with a moon panther.

The situation was this the two specimens met,the snake was apparently in a fight because it got too close to the panther's territory but the panther was also stupid since the snake is much more powerful than it well that is my guess but it is somewhat likely in the end in the wild

The two were wounded one was dodging the fast and venomous attacks of the snake while finding moments to counterattack while the other was attacking as fast as possible trying to finish the fight as fast as possible to heal his wounds.

I am hunting the snake hiding because in a frontal battle is unlikely to survive the reason for this hunt is because of its venom and its ability to camouflage, unfortunately the venom is not very strong and has disadvantages one of the most important is that it needs nutrients to use it and recharge that along with other factors forces me to have a stomach and eat, and as I said earlier that should be avoided however it is a method of attack that is worth so I will take it.

Meanwhile in the battle the snake looks at the cougar assessing the damage it has caused.

The puma is wounded with several bites, poisoned and tired from the battle it doesn't look like it has much time left,the snake seeing its weakness and wanting to take advantage of it lunges at the puma opening its mouth the puma dodges its attack but the snake knowing that it was going to happen uses its tail as a whip striking the puma confusing it and making it retreat,the snake took advantage of this to wrap its body around the puma and suffocating it.

This is my chance.

Quickly and before the snake threw itself at the puma I grabbed the rudimentary spear I made and threw it with all the momentum I could, driving it into its head from the eye and breaking its skull killing it instantly, the puma came out of the snake's body but as it got closer to the head I ended up biting it in the neck.

Meanwhile I prepare my elitras and fly to the dead snake I see it and approach the head with the victim in it, I open its mouth and remove it from the neck of the feline then I take my spear out of its body and use one arm to carry the snake.

One arm is not enough so I use both arms to carry the corpse then consider whether to carry the spear I create but quickly decide not to pursue that course of action because of its inefficiency

'I'd rather lose the spear than the body of a valuable specimen'.

I walk home because my elitras will not support the weight of the corpse.

The journey didn't take that long thanks to my speed and that there are not many dangers near my lair, although that's why I chose it after all.

Upon arrival I leave the corpse in a corner and wash my hands with a makeshift basin created from the carcass of a tree.

'I can't risk damaging the body I might have reacted strangely due to the external materials'.

I approach the corpse and gently touch its skin, measuring its hardness with my claws.

'It's very tough, tougher than I thought'.

Then I press as hard as I can to the body my claws tear its interior after a lot of pressure then I open its skin and muscles and see its interior.

10 minutes later

It was an eye-opening experience its venom glands were not in its jaw but near its eyes this is the ultimate proof that the anatomy of this place is different from that of the earth.

Thus I was able to acquire its scales camouflage capacity and its venom.

Although the pain was very intense more than the last few times.

After adding those abilities to my body I replicated the stomach of a boar and everything needed for its use although with a bit of reluctance since it makes me lose my inventory

'Maybe I can use this to my advantage I noticed that the snake's organism used the nutrients to increase its size, maybe I can use that as a base and create a brain along with all the organs that a living being would normally have'

After thinking about that I replicated the organs of all the animals I killed but I didn't include the anus and sex organs as they are unnecessary, I can use all the nutrients from the food in the body without wasting anything so I don't need that, I also added and swapped some implements, I added a panther tail and removed the rabbit skeleton from the board and swapped it with the snake skeleton and my stomach the most important one, it has the fast digestion of a rabbit but in a controlled way so that when it is almost empty my stomach becomes the digestion of a snake so when I finish eating whatever it is I have an almost empty stomach but still with food, food that will digest slowly for a full week.

And so after the pain tomorrow morning a new being will be born into this strange world.
