1 Week Late

Mc POV:

It's been a week since the incident with the monster,the forest has changed a bit both because of the appearance of two new alpha predators and the drastic reductions of some species.

And yes,two alpha predator,me and the being deep in the forest,I have stayed away most of the time from the encounter site as it seems to be their territory.

Although I have also sometimes made cautious investigations to its territory to know its level of danger, according to my deductions it seems to be a humanoid animal of the bovid family, possibly a cow or bull, its height also seems to be 10 meters.

Practically as they would call it on earth a minotaur and very large.

My preparation these last days has been intense to overcome this predator and to be able to kill it.

I have killed several animals such as shadow tarantulas, red ants, copper monkeys, stone turtles and I have also brought to near extinction the horned rabbits, their meat was too tasty and even more so cooked although I know that this moved a lot the ecosystem being that now the animals mainly married are giant beetles small but aggressive animals, honestly the problem does not interest me as it does not harm me directly and indirectly.

And I have learned to use a strange energy

In one of my travels I found a giant stone turtle larger than their peers both on earth and here the point is that I attacked using energy creating bullets of earth, I thought at the time that I had some kind of manipulation of matter so I moved away and when I saw a weakness killed it.

Now with my adaptations have changed a lot I have the muscles of the panthers and copper monkeys my jaw also has the muscles of the wolves and panthers, I have a chitin and bone armor that covers my whole body replacing the old scales, I got the armour from insects and turtles and because of its hardness it looks like stone, I also have porcupine quills of the same material, my arms and legs have become longer and more muscular and I have a spidery protrusion behind me that serves to make a much more durable and stronger material than the spider web, my horns have also become similar to a crown however strangely as much as I want I can't change it I was very worried because of that but after a while I saw that it was not harmful in fact it was beneficial as it strangely improved my use with the strange energy,because of that I left it as it was my crown also has a different color to the rest of my body as it is black,and lastly I am now 2.73m due to my constant diet of horned rabbits and my controlled digestion.

And now I have eyes,spider eyes exactly help me a lot to find my prey and also to kill them with both my strategy,Camouflage and lastly silk.

And I am currently infiltrating an ant colony wanting to find the queen due to her curious ability to control her colony.

Lately many ants have been roaming the forest and moreover I saw how they killed many species to bring them to their colony, because of that I remembered the main power of the queen ants the pheromones a variable that can be very important in the fight against the minotaur since every existing being uses pheromones either to find a mate to mate with or for communication and guidance, this can be used in a strategy that I can use to disorient their senses.

As I go deeper I see how several warrior ants pass underneath me without noticing my presence, I infiltrate further until I find an entrance to a giant area of the anthill.

I climb down from the roof and enter the chamber, and I am greeted by a giant 5m long ant.

Pretty straightforward really'.

I approach and notice how the ant notices my presence.

"Who are you?"

I freeze for a moment confused before looking at it again.

I'm not stupid I know I talk but the point is why? it shouldn't have that ability even though it is the queen of the ants and apparently it asked a question which suggests intelligence there is also the fact that I felt that energy coming out of its mouth as if it imbued its mouth to talk I will definitely investigate this when I return.

'anyway he is going to die and even if I wanted to talk to him I can't due to my poor control of my vocal cords although it's funny I have great control of my body however I can't control much such a simple part of it '.

I walk up to her and before she says anything else I rip off a large part of her body.

I find it and immediately replicate it, the sounds get closer, after the pain session I already see several ants at the door, I release as fast as possible pheromones that represent that I am a threat and I let out the loudest scream I can.

The sounds stop the ants that have already arrived and I see how they retreat even knowing that I killed their queen.

'Apparently my pheromones are pretty strong'.

I approach the queen's corpse again and check her out there is nothing unusual apart from clear another red sphere on her body I eat her and this time I feel what's inside me grow twice as big and then I feel anger an intense anger

I remember the ants and how they approached me and I feel disgust and hate inferior beings trying to attack me, then I remember the minotaur a huge being I also feel anger that a being as powerful as I have to use creeping strategies to kill him.

I see the room and then I look inside me and my sphere changes now it is not a light blue but deep blue I also notice that my crown is darker.

Then I notice my weird thoughts, am I ignoring my sphere too much?it is changing my behavior to something more proud and angry.

I look at my body and notice that it became taller and stronger without my intervention now I am 3 m instead of 2.73 m my strength feels like it tripled and I even feel like I can do more with the energy.

I'm out of here

I go to one of the nearby tunnels surprised at the increased speed at which I go I find it hard to adapt however I quickly return to my usual control,I notice that a few ants saw me and before I release my pheromones I see how they desperately run away as if they did not want to face me however they were in my way so with virtually no effort I erased their existence based on brute force.

'This is strange I will definitely look into it on my way out'.

I found a tunnel and went as fast as possible to my cave flying to start my plan to kill the minotaur.

My plan is simple go to his territory and cover him with pure spider silk then I release a large amount of pheromones so that many animals come close to the boundaries of the silk so if something goes wrong it will delay him long enough for me to escape or for him not to escape.

And in the fight I will bite him to poison him and also disorient him using my pheromones to give him as much damage as possible.

All this I will start tomorrow morning and after that with its possible beautiful adaptations I will get out of this place I have been a long time in this territory and I have not investigated the surroundings maybe I will find intelligent beings and get information I do not know maybe they know something about the strange energy and its apparent multiple uses, although this also leads to the problem of whether I will be received I am what humans would consider a monster but still I see it possible that the intelligent races of this site are open enough to share information and in the event that they bring things to conflict, well I am not afraid to kill them. ..

Another thing I would have wished for is to find the queen of the colony in a different situation so maybe I could have obtained new information, however I am not going to cry over missed opportunities.
