The Monstrous Jeera

Morris swung his huge Warhammer with his newfound strength at Jeera. The Orc leader raised an axe trying to stop the falling hammer, but when the two weapons collided, he quickly realized that one weapon was not enough and added his other axe as well. The hammer held enough strength to force him to use his full strength. The Orc's eyes narrowed as the human warrior had gained a powerful boost from the spell.

Freya also swung her dark sword in a diagonal slash that was aimed at the direwolf beneath Jeera. The beast pulled back, trying to avoid the attack, but the tip of the blade cut across its face, taking away one of his eyes.

The large beast screamed in agony and jumped back abruptly from the humans. Jeera almost lost his balance, but quickly tried to rein in his steed. However, in that short burst of panic, Freya shot three ice daggers towards the direwolf. Two of them pierced into his mane, creating two bloody wounds. The last one stabbed into his other eye, successfully blinding the beast. Although she couldn't use mana against Jeera, it didn't mean she couldn't use it against his steed as well.

After that, no matter how much the rider tried to bring the beast under control, the direwolf threw his body left and right, trying to escape the pain. Freya continued her attack as she rushed towards the beast with blinding speed.

Jeera who was an expert axe wielder failed to react to her speed in time due to his relatively lower agility and the swordswoman swung her sword in a horizontal attack aimed towards the beast's leg. Jeera swung his axe with all his might trying to stop the woman, but a mighty shield appeared in front of it, easily blocking the attack.

The magic sword cut through leather and flesh alike, and the leg was separated cleanly from the body. The beast threw back its body with all his remaining strength and threw off its rider, before falling on its back and writhing on the ground.

Jeera rolled back out of his fall and quickly rose back to look at his fallen steed, "Amur!!!"

He screamed in anger as he saw the severed leg of his direwolf. He turned to the two humans and roared in outrage, "YOU WILL DIE FOR THAT!!!"

All of a sudden, the atmosphere changed, and an oppressive air suppressed the two humans. They felt an invisible force pushing down on them. Red colored wisps began to rise from the orc's body. The orc clanked his twin axes and two weapons caught fire out of nowhere, burning a bright orange-yellow.

'Aura!' Freya heard the soul inside her shout. 'No, it's still not completely awakened. Freya, be careful. That boy is on the verge of awakening his aura and even though he has still not reached that point, this much is still enough to be dangerous.'

The Orc charged forward with surprising speed at the duo. Although Freya was able to see his movements due to her high agility, Morris failed to follow the attack and as such he couldn't defend against it. Two blazing axes flew towards Freya as the female tried to block the attack. Unfortunately for her, the fiery weapon held a monstrous strength that she could not defend against.

The axes collided with her sword and pushed back the sword. The two axes crashed into her chest, the sword failing to stop them. The fiery weapon cut through her rhino skin armor like butter and cut into her chest. Freya was thrown across the field with a massive cross shaped wound across her chest.

The swordswoman rolled across the ground like a rag doll before coming to a stop. Blood was flowing profusely from her wound. Several of her ribs had been broken, and even a lung was crushed. The skin around her wound was seared to a charcoal black. Art was working overtime, using her mana to repair the damage but it was too much.

Freya's eyes went black and she couldn't see or hear anything as the pain overshadowed all her other senses. She felt her life slipping and struggled to keep a hold of it.

"Fountain of Life!" The melodious voice of Ariane was heard through all the commotion, and a bright golden ray of light fell on Freya from the sky. Immediately, before her very eyes, Freya's broken ribs reattached themselves and her wound began to mend. The burnt skin also returned to healthy pink. The Sword wielder let off a mighty breath as her collapsed lung returned to its healthy state.

As her body returned to health and her vision returned, the mage carefully stood back up and looked at the priestess. Ariane was leaning on her staff, letting out heavy breaths. "Stop staring and go help him!"

The out of breath mage shouted at Freya, who was just on the verge of death barely a second ago but she didn't even have time to take a breath.

The swordswoman turned towards Morris. The giant defender was once more being overwhelmed by the even bigger orc. His had cuts and burns all over his body. His giant shield was filled with dents. Even his steel armor was badly damaged.

Freya utilized all sixty stats of her boosted strength and agility and jumped towards Jeera, leaving behind a cracked ground. Her sword crashed against his axe, sending it off its path. The female activated her Mana Sense skill and her perception range widen.

Freya turned and spun, ducked and dodged away from all the attacks of the Orc. She didn't repeat her mistake of meeting the giant monster head on. Instead, she used her superior agility to avoid his attacks while also hitting his axes with just enough strength to change their trajectory, whenever the Morris failed to block an attack. She also managed to get in a few quick stabs now and then.

Jeera used all his strength and experience as he tried to quickly take care of the two human and help his troops that were in a bad condition after the loss of the prominent orc fighter, but the female human proved to be extremely elusive.

She weaved through his attack with astounding speed and accuracy, almost as if she had eyes in the back of her head. He attacked with increased vigor, trying to take her head but she avoided his attacks with a graceful dodge and redirected the attacks that she couldn't completely avoid. She even managed to save the male warrior from his swings.

The fire on his axes roared as a burst of flame jumped towards the two humans but they were blocked by a damaged shield. Jeera roared in frustration and attacked once more with all his might. He was already using his incomplete aura that boosted his strength but he couldn't maintain it for long.

The orc attacked the human duo, swinging his twin axes ferociously when all of a sudden, a rain of arrows fell from the sky and a bunch of them stabbed into his back. Jeera groaned in pain but before he could turn around, a black figure jumped out of the fighting crowd and slashed him across his legs with daggers before quickly retreated, leaving behind a number of bloody cuts.

Jeera screamed in pain and swung his axe at the figure but she had retreated before his attack could reach her. He looked back to see two more figures arrive. The archer squadron had left the safety of the walls and were now providing support from a close range. Their leader was the one that had shot at his back. And another black clad figure was also there that he hadn't noticed before.

Five figure surrounded him, ready to gang up on him. "Humans truly have no honor." Words escaped Jeera's mouth that only Freya understood.

"No amount of begging will save you now, orc." Alex shouted at orc, thinking he was begging for his life.

Jeera ignored him and let out a fearsome roar that increased the invisible pressure on the humans surrounding him. He charged forward, heading towards Freya. Alex fired another round of arrows at the orc, but he simply ignored the pain as the arrows stabbed into his back.

Jeera crashed his shoulder into Morris' shield and used all his body strength to send him flying a few meters away. He then quickly turned towards Freya and attacked her with his dual axes, burning away the last of his incomplete aura.

Freya dodged the attacks, but there were only so many attacks she could dodge and she was forced to defend herself with her sword. Now that the orc leader focused solely on her, it was proving difficult to avoid his two flaming axes. The flaming axes increased the temperature of her black sword, burning her hands.

Although, she had managed to deal a few cuts to the orc in between his large swings, she had still allowed even more attacks. Jeera's experience and long years of training, helping him overcome her superior agility. Her leather armor provided no defense against the flaming Orichalcum axes, and her body was now filled with new wounds and burns.

Just as she was about to be overwhelmed, a familiar childish voice resounded in her head, 'Fine, just this once.'

A thick purple energy erupted from her dark black sword explosively, and pushed back the orc. A few wisps of the putrid energy jumped into Jeera wounds, and the small cuts on his body turned black, causing the orc to scream in pain.
