The Mage and The Prince III

As the spell managed to stop the charge of the Prince, Art quickly spotted him and used the second circle Ember spell once again, “Destruction Orbs!”

Three bright red orbs appeared before his raised hands and shot towards the prince with blinding speed. The prince was once more forced to dodge the spell, as taking it head on would be extremely foolish.

The three orbs hit the ground and easily dug into the stone floor and continued downwards before hitting the barrier. The ground they hit simply disintegrated without any noise. Charles was a little bit unnerved by the strange spells, but he quickly recognized the destructive Ember element.

Although the mage was unable to keep up with the swordsman, he was able to see his movements. The clever mage used this fact to his advantage as unlike him, his spells were faster than the prince.
