3. SHATTERED

I look at the person sitting on opposite side he was so intimitating as he stood straight his features were more clear great phyique with wheatish complexion blue eyes and messy hairs. He was earing a black fullsleeve tshirt with v-neck complimenting his muscles and height 6'2. His eyes were so innocent and quite and looking at his personality anyone could guess he must be a sport person.

I was just looking at him blankly when syndra interuppted "he is Arlen even he's in our class" i was shocked because i never noticed him this weak. He was quite but just giving smile as the music start he came near to me and ask " shall i " saying this he took my hand and headed towards the dance floor, as we reached on floor he left my hand and maintained the decent space. i started dancing and he was just looking at me. as it ended he said " you are a good dancer" saying thus we returned to our seats and after sometime everyone was on dance floor. i was waiting for krys sitting on sofa and chatting with some friend when my phone vibrated it was a call from krys i recieved " where are you bae? " i asked but due to the loud music she was not audible i left that place and went to the lobby nearby as there was low voice krys said " sorry rose i can't come i am not well " i was sad but i knew she always skip such parties " get well soon bae see you on momday" saying this i cut the call and looked at the balcony few meters away i thought it's good to get some fresh air.

As i moved toward the balcony in the left corner of lobby which was quite dark i heard some noise. i felt it little wierd so i went close saw a couple kissing passionately i thought it's bad to look at someones private movement.So, i was about to move when i felt there appearence familiar. My mind was creating thousand images and my geart was beating heavily. I was continously praying to god it should not be what i was thinking. i build courage and asked " whose there?" to which the couple made distance between them but there face were horrified as if they just saw a ghost.

My heart skipped the beat and tears roll down my eyes i was numb it was my boyfriend and michelle kissing each other. "rose i can explain just listen to me once" as he took his step forward i gathered myself "no you can't " saying this i ran towards the exit i heard Lauren calling my name again and again but i was not in the condition to listen anything. I never thought Lauren will ever cheat me with my friend michelle. I was not in serious relationship but i was committed but this backstabbing made me feel i am just an clone here. I came out of the club and went to parking area i was crying unstopabliy i went near my car i put my head of car door. i was recalling every memories we had together how he proposed me in park with flowers and chocolates.

" Crying makes you look more beautiful" i heard an unfamiar voice as i turned i saw a boy wearing hoodie and bulk physique with grey eyes and fair complexion. He was standing near a pillar his head down and hoodie covering his half face. "i would prefer to look ugly then" saying this i get inside the car and drived back to my home. Whe i was driving memories and the inncident happened today started haunting me. i was not able to control my tears. As i parked my car inside our gate i wiped my tears and after sometime went inside. It was late so everyone were sleeping. I went inside the kitchen to get some water i switched on the light and i was about to shout when i saw someone sitting on floor but stopped myself " You are not a kid anymore who on the earth eat icecream at this time." i said in annoying tone it was kate my younger sister she was sitting on the floor with icecream bowl in her hand wearing her night pajamas. " The person who arrives home after travelling for whole day and finds empty fridge with only icecream and nuttella what you expect from that poor fellow." she said mocking sad face " weren't you suppose to come after two days" i said drinking water " yes but i even had to prepare for my high school so i came early." kate answered keeping her bowl in sink. I asked her " how is grandma and is the farm work going good?" she answered " she is fine and even farm is going good but she was angry on you as you skipped this vaccation with her, by the way how is your university going and your dance competition is around the corner come on give me updates." she said eagerly sitting on the chair nearby " i am tiered now i'll talk to you tomorrow" i turned and left to my room because as she mentioned dance competition i recalled every moment that happened today.

I entered my room and went straight to washroom took shower and as i opened the door i saw kate sitting on my bed looking at my phone. we had two beds with common bedside table between beds. " Kate have some manners go on your bed" i scolded her " seems like you had lots of fun today." I snatched my phone from her and sat beside her. "what happened?" she inquired in low voice "nothing kate just let me sleep" saying this i layed on bed and covered my face with my pillow. " Something is wrong otherwise you won't be this quite as much i know you, you would have told about every single day since i left." she said snatching my pillow and pulling my hands to sit "okay fine" saying this i sat beside her and told her everything that happened today. We never had any secret between us so she knew about lauren after telling her i rest my head on bed board.

" i always told you that michelle is a golddigger! you were the one who always helped her. That day at restuarant when you, me and lauren were having dinner and she landed their surprisingly i denied but you insisted her to join us even lauren was not happy and when you and lauren were laughing anyone would have guess that she was annoyed and the way is use to look at lauren as if she will take him home with her" kate said in frustation. She never liked michelle she always said michelle just wants the attention of boys that you get but i always ignored her. Michelle was a nice girl though she agreed she like attention but she was not a slut. " let it be kate it's not just michelle even lauren was there and he is an equal culprit as her." I said to her my eyes still close kate started again " this was shocking for me as well lauren was a genuine guy and our childhood friend how can he cheat on you he loves you so much remember when you were sick last winters and our parents were out of town he didn't let your side for a minute. He was so concern about took care of yours. I am sure this girl michelle might have manupillated him you must" kate was about to say something else when i interuppted her " please kate can you stop you we'll always defend lauren because he is your goid friend too but can you please be at my place and think" i said irritatedly kate and lauren were good friends much before of our relationship started as we all were in same school. " okay i am sorry this topic over here okay now if you don't mind i am sleeping on your bed today with you" saying this she snatched my duke and covered herself and i slept beside her.

I was so tiered so partying, crying and travelling that i doze off in seconds.
