9. RUMOUR IN COLLEGE

It was now my daily routine to meet Arlen in morning at canteen and have our meal together then he use to drop me to my dance classes and also pick me up sometime. In between this I often visited Neon st his garage. We use to sit and talk about each other. It was all fun because I never had such company before. As Krystal went for her Arts workshop for one month I was all alone. Arlen started sitting on Krystal's place and we were mostly seen together in the university. I also accompanied him to his tournaments in the college as well as local on weekends.

It was a usual day at college and I was in library completing my assignment this was the only place where Arlen did not accompany me because he hated library, for him it was the most boring place. Destiny came and sat on the chair near my table I said " hey ! how come you are alone here today where's syndra." she giggled and pointed towards the queue. Syndra was issuing books I looked at destiny and giggled then we started gossiping soon syndra joined us and asked " so Rose when will Krys come back?" "one month more she said she is enjoying there." I said. Destiny was looking at the books syndra issued and said " seems like you are missing her alot even though she doesn't even smile at us." her eyes still stuck on the books. " no dear, it's just she is little introvert but trust me she is really an amazing person." I saud trying to convince her then syndra said " I know. I wanted to ask you something hope you won't mind." I raised my eyebrows and then she said "I heard lot's of rumours about you and..." she hesitated to talk I looked at destiny with blank expression then she said " look Rose we heard that you and Arlen are in relationship is that true." I burst out laughing and the librarian cried " silence." I covered my mouth with hands and said in low voice " are you silly syndra you were hesitating to ask me this. well let me clear this No I am not in relationship with anyone it's just we are good friends and we understand eachother well so, we like each other's company that's it." to this syndra smiled and said " that's how the love begins my girl." I smiled at her then I said " let's complete the assignment first or else Mrs. shein will shower her love on us tomorrow." Then destiny said "ooh! yeah I forgot about it I didn't even completed half." saying this we started doing our work.

I was at the bus stop waiting for Arlen in the evening. I was wearing black crop top with black yoga pants then he arrived and stopped in front of me. He was wearing black t-shirt I sat behind him and said "wow! we are twinning." he said " looks like we are developing same taste." " I am talking about your bike." I said giggling he chuckled and started the bike. " Arlen you know I heard some rumours about you." I started the conversation and he stopped immediately and I grabbed his t-shirt tightly " what happened?" I asked " what rumours?" he inquired in serious tone and his face looked pale I asked " are you alright you look so pale." " I am good but what you heard about me?" he said in frustration and worry " nothing serious it's just that I heard you and I are dating eachother." I laughed out loud and he released his breath he was holding for long. He was smiling and looking at me then he said " what if it was true." I stopped laughing to his sudden statement. I looked at him he was already looking at me with doe eyes and ticklish smile and the urge for the answer was clearly visible in his eyes. I was unable to look at him so I moved my gaze then he asked again " what you think about it." " about what?" I inquired though I knew what he meant but I was not ready to accept then he said " about the rumour what you think about it if it comes out to be true." I was blanked for a moment his words were still spinning in my head I didn't know what to answer I was not sure with my feelings I said " I am getting late." he chuckled and started the bike. soon we reached the classes I waved him bye and left.

While practicing my steps I was thinking of what he said. Does he really have feelings for me or it was just affection. I was talking to myself " before thinking what Arlen thinks what matters now is what I want. he is nice but relationship?" I was busy in my thoughts when my trainer shouted " Rose! you are doing it wrong try to synchronise with your partner." I nodded " damn! this boys is not getting out of my mind." I said to myself and continued practice.
