Fighting the goons

As soon as he reached home Earl Harvey was giving some instructions to the maids and servants for journey of Donald. He saw Ash entering the estate after training. This is the first time Ash did his training until evening. When Ash entered further into the estate Earl felt his lips quivering and his eyes widening. He could sense a magic power of 200 in Ash.

Ash saw the expression in Earl's face and with a half smile went back to his room. As for the Earl he could not believe that Ash is able achieve magic power of 200 in just few weeks. He also had fear that Ash would cause harm to his own siblings if his power keeps on increasing at a terrifying pace.

He calmed himself and gave the remaining instructions to the group and went to his work room. He kept thinking what to do against Ash because he is a threat to Donald now.

"May I come in father?" came two voices from the door. "Come in" said Earl with a harsh tone.

Kelvin and Calvin entered the room. "So tell me what do you want to say?" asked Harvey.

"Father that trash's magic power has reached 200 in just few weeks. He is going to be a threat to Donald in the future" said Calvin.

"Yes father he threatened all of us few weeks ago and if he gets even stronger he will definitely take revenge on all of us because of his treatment" said Kelvin.

Harvey kept listening their words and kept on thinking how to deal with Ash.

"Father why don't you remove him from the family because he is an illegitimate child and no one will ask us anything" said Kelvin.

"Yes father and if he is tossed out there is no way he will survive" said Calvin with a sadistic smile.

Earl Harvey looked at them with pity because of their ignorance. He started to speak to them.

"Article 8 section 5 of the law states that a boy/girl whether legitimate or illegitimate of any noble household have the right to be part of the household and even the head of the household does not have any power to remove him from household until he reaches 12 years" said Harvey without any expression in his face.

Those two who have been blabbering non sense suddenly became silent.

"Do you know the consequences if I throw him away?" shouted Harvey.

Kelvin and Calvin were shocked by his anger.

Kelvin trembled and asked "Wha.. What are the consequences father?"

Earl nodded in disappointment and said "My position as the Earl of the kingdom will be stripped away by the kingdom and our entire family's wealth will be taken away by the king".

Kelvin and Calvin were completely paralyzed by those words. They were enjoying the benefits of the household since childhood so they did not the consequences of wrong actions.

The reason kingdom made this law is because in the past nearly 500 years ago one of the kings of Yellandrian kingdom Raphael Norton committed debauchery on a maid and she got pregnant. The same things like ostracizing happened to the illegal heir and he was thrown away at an age of 8. He along with his mother disappeared and went to a far away village and settled there. He started his own alchemy business and earned lot of profits.

After few years a war started between Yellandria and Belldore kingdom. The king had 5 sons who were the successors. In that war Yellandria won but had to pay a heavy price that is all the five sons got perished in the war. Raphael could not take the shock of losing all his sons. He lost interest in the throne. He wanted to give it away.

The prime minister Ronald Walker at that time suggested to bring back his illegitimate son Phillip Norton. The king felt conflicted by the suggestion but ultimately decided to crown Phillip. They invited Phillip to take the throne but he rejected due to their misdeeds. He did not care what happened to the kingdom and he left to a most remote place.

The king felt heartbroken after what has happened. He also had a daughter "Cynthia". He decided to marry her to prime minister's son Hercules Walker before he announced the rule. which is the Article 8 Section 5.

After that Cynthia ruled the kingdom along with her husband as the law states that queen can rule the state. Before she was married to Hercules all the powers were given to rule were transferred to Cynthia.

"Now you understand why I am not throwing him out" said without any expression.

"But that doesn't mean I will let him out easy after threatening me in such humiliating way".

Kelvin and Calvin looked at each other with complex expressions in their face.

When they looked at their fathers face it is filled with some crooked expression they were not able to see before.

They understood that their father will do something about him in the future but they did not want to wait any more.

So they both thought of a plan and decided to execute it after coming out of the Earl's room.

"The next day..."

Ash continued his training and after that he went to the blacksmith shop but he saw 5 gigantic goons standing there in front of the table of the shop

"So the main dish has arrived on the plate. Very nice then" said one of the goons looking at Ash standing there with a disgusting smile.

Ash looked at bloodied Roland lifted up in the hands of another goon. As soon as Ash entered a huge sword was about to slice him from the side but he caught hold of the sword.

The goon was astonished as no one had the guts to do this. Blood was dripping from Ash's hand.

"So who sent you is it my brothers or my father?" asked Ash with serious tone.

The goon whose sword was caught tried to take away the sword but could not do it because of Ash's grip.

"So tell me now who is it?" said Ash again with big eyes.

The goon with disgusting smile took out the axe and the other fours goons followed him with their own weapons.

"You need not know as you are going to die" said the goon holding Roland and threw Roland away.

One of the goons ran towards Ash with his morning star and tried to strike but Ash was not present there.

When they searched in all directions they looked at Ash attending to Roland. Ash took out a health potion and poured into the mouth of Roland.

He immediately stood up and said "I only need one of you to talk so who will be the lucky one to live" with a cruel expression and smile.

.The goon who attacked him upon entering tried to slash him but before he could even bring the sword down on Ash he felt a sharp pain on the neck. Only after a second he understood that his throat was sliced using a knife taken by Ash from the table.

When the other goons saw this they were completely petrified. Before they could recover Ash took out the spear from one of the racks and stormed towards the goon who who bloodied Roland.

That goon came out from trance and tried to defend using the hammer but Ash changed the direction of spear and pierced the leg of the goon. "AAAAAH" shouted the goon. Ash removed the spear and immediately thrusted it in his forehead. He died within an instant. Ash did not show any mercy because he knows the reputation of this goons along with it flashes of his previous life where he got killed by the goons appeared in front of him. He knew that if he had killed that goon before itself that guy would not have chance to shoot at him.

All the goons were wearing leather armor so they could not be protected. Ash now made his way to other goon with a spear. But the spear goon blocked the attack. He recovered and tried to stab Ash. As soon as the goon thrusted the spear Ash bent his body left and using the spear as balance he mad a side jump 180 degrees. When the goon retracted and was about to aim for the neck of Ash, Ash hit his legs and made him lose balance. Ash thrusted the spear into his stomach so hard that he shouted "AAAAAAAAAAAGH".

Ash immediately thrusted the spear into his neck. The other goons were startled and became cautious. The decided to attack him all at once.

They all jumped on him at once with their weapons. Ash used the spinning slash and sliced the three enemies. Those three got sliced on their chests. One of the goons started chanting and a spell appeared after few seconds. It is a wind spell. As soon as he released the spell Ash jumped away. He started to chant again but something else happened. Before he could complete the spell his heart was pierced from back by Ash. He could not know when he came behind his back. He died without any shout.

The other two gritted their teeth with intense danger in front of him. The goon with a great sword came at Ash without thinking properly. Ash ran towards him without any fear. When sword was about to land on Ash, Ash disappeared and appeared on the right side of the goon. Ash thrusted the spear with force into the hips of the goon and it came out from other hip. "AAAAAAGH" shouted the goon with intense pain and died.

Roland came back to his senses due to the effects of the potion and what he saw was carnage in front of him with Ash standing in front of the last goon. The last goon was bubbling with anger.

"If you tell me who sent you I will spare your life. If you do not the consequences will be different" said Ash with a cruel smile.

"You bastard" shouted the goon and started fighting Ash. Ash felt heavy blow from the axe. He would have been sliced down if his stats were not high. The intense training definitely paid off.

The huge goon kept on throwing savage blows but Ash kept on defending using spear. After nearly a minute of blocking Ash found and opening and thrusted the spear on the hand holding great axe. The goon shouted with his great axe falling down. Ash was fast and he pushed away the great axe.

The goon ignoring the pain came with a huge left hand and tried to punch Ash but Ash evade by ducking and thrusted the spear onto the right thigh of the goon. "AAAAAAGH you little rascal" shouted the goon. Ash did not give him time to recover and thrusted the spear into other thigh.

The goon fell down holding both the thighs and started crying in pain. Ash thrusted his pear into other hand of the goon. The goon felt the torture too cruel. "Stop...stop I will tell you" said the goon crying in pain.

This is the reason why Ash inflicted so much pain. "It is your brothers Kelvin and Calvin who came to me and asked me to kill you" said the goon.

"PFFF" started laughing Ash. "Do you think I am naïve?" shouted Ash. "No I am not lying" said the goon. Roland came and stood beside Ash.

"You lying asshole tell the truth" shouted Ash. "He might be telling the truth Ash" said Roland looking at Ash with weak expression.

Ash sighed and cut the tendons of the goon. "Now you have very less time. If you don't spill out the truth no one can save you" said Ash smiling like a villain.

The goon kept shouting but did not say anything. "It might be the truth Ash as he could not be lying with such pain" said Roland with serious expression.

Ash looked at Roland with eyebrows furrowed and said "Kelvin and Calvin are the types to do things themselves because they do not trust others to do their work properly so it is definitely not them".

The goon after hearing this could not say anything. Ash pointed the spear on goons neck and asked "I won't repeat again. So who is the one that sent you?"

The goon understood that his time is running out and he uttered the person's name "Donald".

Ash withdrew his spear and after thinking "HAHA... HAHAHAHA" started laughing very highly and the laughter was very psychotic. He did not kill the last goon because he needed to show what happened here to the people to prove this as self defense.

He took the goon out by dragging him out and tied him to a pole. All the people gathered there. Even the knights from the estate came there. The knight captain Joshua came there and looked at the tied goon. "What is this young master?" shouted Joshua as if he was ignorant. The knight captain was part of this plan and Ash knew it because he was the personal knight of Donald.

Ash looked at him fiercely and Joshua shut his mouth. Ash looked at the citizens gathered and said "Good evening citizens of Randell territory. I am the illegitimate son of Earl Randell. Today you are going to witness the justice that is going to happen today".

Many people started whispering and some of them shouted.

"So you are the trash of the household?"

"Is it some sort of joke to you to tie up a man like that"

"Silence" shouted Ash releasing his killing intent. The dominating aura suppressed all the people including knight captain even though his battle power is 600.

"This bastard and his goons were hired by someone to assassinate me. I killed his buddies but kept him alive because he will tell who hired him to kill me" said with sarcasm.

The knight captain's eyes widened and he tried to rise up but could not. Even other knights were completely incapacitated due to the aura.

Ash pointed the spear at the goon and said "Say the name and I will give you health potion".

A hope appeared in goon's eyes and he shouted "It is master Donald the first son of Earl who did this" in despair.

Joshua clenched his fist at his inability to stop this. Ash took out a healing potion and poured into the mouth of the goon. As soon as his wounds healed. Ash thrusted his spear into throat of the goon killing him.

Everybody was shocked including children at the sight. Some even fainted due to their first time seeing an execution.

Ash took back the aura and everyone rose up including the knights. He looked at knight captain with a cruel smile and came very near to him.

"I know that your master sent these goons to kill me but you both also made a plan if things go awry and goons die by my hands. You would take the murder of this goons as excuse and try to make me give up my right as heir of the household" whispered into Joshua's ears.

Joshua widened his eyes. "By the way how did you come so fast from the household only when I am going to execute him?" Ash asked playfully.

Ash could sense the knights hiding while he was dragging the final goon out. They tried to frame him but could not do this and caused a big problem for Donald.

The revelation caused a terrible uproar there and everyone started demanding justice for the attempted assassination.

The knights tried to stop the people but could not do it. The news reached Earl's ears and he felt a big headache due to the actions of Donald.

He sent Donald away to the academy as soon as he got the news to stop the commotion. Donald's horse carriage was nearly ambushed but escaped. As for Ash he went to his room whistling without caring about anything.
