In the second floor, Ash and Raven saw that all the walls are lit with torches and had much more light compared to the first floor. Ash was keeping an eye on the map and saw the red dots a few feet away.

Until and unless he goes to the location he cannot determine their levels. "Be careful Raven, trouble ahead" said Ash with wariness. Even through he is not afraid of supernatural phenomena, he definitely feels uncomfortable in the places where dark energy persists.

The only solution for this is to face the threat in front of them. They reached the place and saw skeletons roaming the area with weapons.

Some skeletons had swords, some had bows and some had morning stars. "You have got to be kidding me" said Raven with wide eyes.

"Yeah, they are not white and they have a shade of grey and black. Looks like some form of high level corruption. I sense immense power from them" explained Ash taking out his Spear.

The skeletons saw both Ash and Raven. The close combat skeletons ran towards them while the archer skeletons launched arrow after arrow. Ash ran towards the approaching skeletons with spear in his hand.

As soon as a skeleton with morning star came, he disappeared from their sight. The skeletons were confused and stopped there. Raven launched Water missile spell against the skeletons.

Nearly 5 skeletons perished after their bones broke. Ash appeared instantly and thrusted his spear in such a way that 4 skeletons got pierced easily. The experience points kept pouring.

He got 40000 experience points for killing the skeleton. Ash got distracted for a second and a archer skeleton launched an arrow which hit Ash on his thigh.

"Aaa" growled Ash due to pain. 2 more arrows came and hit one on his wrist and other on his shoulder. Luckily the damage was reduced due to the the thick plates he was wearing on his hand and shoulder.

"These damn archers, I am going to fuck you all to death" shouted Ash and released the wind cutter spells at the archers. Some of the skeletons saw this and came in front of the archers with shields to protect them.

"So you guys want to play huh?" said Ash with a wicked smile. Ash used the Fire bolts skill and kept on shooting at them. He did not give any chance.

Ahs saw a skeleton suddenly appear behind him in the map and he rolled to the front and evaded a sword attack. He threw the skeleton who came from behind and the skeleton shattered into pieces.

Raven saw how Ash was losing control. "Get a hold of yourself Ash" shouted Raven. That made Ash come back to his senses.

He was acting irrationally since the start of the fight. "System, what has happened?" asked Ash.

"Host's uncomfortable feeling turned into rage due to the dark miasma covering the area. You have lost control for few minutes" replied the system.

Ash clearly saw the miasma in the area after getting clarity over his head. Ash saw Raven and she is completely unaffected as she kept throwing spells.

"System, why is she unaffected?" asked Ash. "She seems to have some divine energy surrounding her which stopped her from losing control" replied the system.

Two skeletons ran towards Ash with clubs, but he killed them with his punches. Three arrows rushed towards him but he ran towards the arrows and dodged the first arrow by bending his head right side. He dodged the other two arrows which are coming from top and bottom by jumping and spinning his body in between like a Chakra.

"Enough with the archers" said Ash and immediately evocated the electric arcs. He launched the arcs towards every skeleton in the area. Every skeleton in the area got electrocuted and crumbled into pieces. He got nearly 150000 experience for killing all the skeletons after the first 4.

"What happened to you Ash? I did not see you lose control even during the dungeon break?" asked Raven cleaning his wounds.

"Take a look around in the atmosphere" said Ash gritting due to pain. Raven looked around and saw miasma all over. "I see. Looks like my divine protection I received during my rebirth protected me." said Raven.

"Let us go" said Ash taking out a Grade 4 healing potion and the Soul healing potions. He drank the two potions and he felt his mind cleaned and wounds healed.

"Will you be Ok?" asked Raven skeptically. "Yeah, I won't lose control next time" said Ash.

They made their way to the rooms and searched them. Ash found numerous artifacts and alchemical recipes, but they did not find the Red frost Necklace.

"Looks like it might be in the next floor" said Raven as she is looking at papers with narrowed eyes.

"Seems so" said Ash grinning and opening a hidden pathway as soon as he stepped on a tile. He entered the pathway and at the end there was a room.

The room seem to be protected by Runes. "System can you deactivate the runes?" asked Ash.

"50000 gold host" said the system. "Take it" said Ash.

He had a lot of funds due to the reward from baroness, so he need not worry for sometime. The system deactivated the runes after 5 minutes. Raven came and stood beside him and saw all the runes completely deactivated.

"Now lets see what's here" said Ash and went inside along with Raven. As soon as he went inside he saw a lots of gold piled up in front of him and in the shelves there are several magic scrolls.

"Would you look at that" exclaimed Ash with excitement. Raven could not believe what she was seeing. "The adventurers previously might have missed it or could not deactivate the runes" said Raven.

"Yep. I'll be taking half of the gold with me and take the remaining half with you" said Ash smiling.

"Why are you giving the loot to me?" asked Raven with surprise.

"You are my partner for this adventure. We split it half and everyone will be happy. You are also putting an effort into this thing so I deem you eligible for half of the loot" said Ash.

"I understand but what about the scrolls?" questioned Raven.

"I just need to give a look at them. You can have all of them as soon as I am done looking" said Ash.

There are nearly 12 scrolls and all are high level spells and immunity scrolls. Ash took the first scroll and sound came from system.

"Host has come in contact with "Curse Immunity" scroll. Does the host wish to have curse immunity?"

"Yes"

"Host is now immune to all type of curses".

"He opened the scrolls and came in contact. He got 9 new spells and 2 immunities".

"Now let us go. The road further will be filled with more skeletons" said Ash.

"You are right" said Raven and they both made their way into the room further. Luckily, there were not many skeletons and they maneuvered easily into the final boss room. Ash got 70000 points on the journey.

The gold he got amounted to nearly 60 million. This money is enough for him to get his affairs straight. In the boss room, a gigantic skeleton with three skeleton heads is standing.

"Bone Lord" said Raven trembling. Ash looked at the boss and understood the danger, but luckily the spells he got were enough to fight the this hunk.

Ash took out bow and arrows while Raven took out black longswords and readied themselves.
