Chapter 6

Sorry guys for now uploading a chap in a while. There are 2 reasons.

1. My computer wasn't working and had to get it fixed.

2. I needed to take a quick break.

Anyways, My friend hasn't been willing to write this story so far so i will continue it for him. Yes I'm the OG Author that started this story. I'll try to do my best to post this story often but no promises. I don't care anymore if i rushed the Xeos's mental ability or not. The point of him having a tragic start was to get him to have a switch where he becomes a cold blooded person. Anyways, I wont ever dropped this story again and i apologize severely to those of you that have actually enjoyed this story and i promise to never betray your trust again and let you guys know if i need to take a break to clear my head. I appreciate everyone of you and will work hard to earn your forgiveness. Now onto the chapter.

Status below, Just to make it easier, He doesn't know any magic yet, (he can transform but won't count that as magic) but will in the future. As for skills he will have a few that i will write down. The stats might not makes sense but believe me, the only reason he is strong despite having decent stats is his experience and IQ. The description for the skills will be in the author notes except for the self explanatory ones.

Xeos left his new home to explore the surroundings. As he was walking, he decided to explore the alleyways for better escape routes just in case. He continued to walk around for a hour or so until he saw his previous target Ryuu Lion and immediately decided to run. Unfortunately for him, Ryuu caught sight of him and remembered him and decided to chase him down. He looked behind him and saw his previous target chasing him and decided to fight if she so desires. He immediately turned around and whipped out his dagger and slice at the surprised elf.

Ryuu although taken surprised by the suddenness managed to evade and pull out her own dagger that she always keeps on her. He wooden weapon is back at Mama Mia's. She swung her dagger as he passed her and managed to cut him badly since she was a level 4 and had faster reflexes. Xeos gritted his teeth and saw his skill passive regeneration doing it's job.

He knew that this wasn't a fight he could win but his instincts told him to fight and so he will. He turned around and didn't see her. He tried thinking of where she could be and suddenly hear a swish coming from behind him. He managed to dodged but not without injury. He avoided the otherwise fatal strike and knew she was not taking this seriously and was only lightly paying attention to him. He gritted his teeth and decided to retreat for now despite his instincts telling him otherwise.

Ryuu saw him retreating and was preparing to chase after him but all of a sudden a huge burly man stood in her way and blocked her path. She was shocked that he appeared outta nowhere but easily recognized him as Ottar the only level 7 in Orario. She put two and two together and knew that the person who tried to kill her was with the Freya familia and knowing that mama was once a part of it was shocked but then she narrowed her eyes at him.

She got the message and decided to back down and head back to The hostess of fertility and talk to mama about this.

After a while, Xeos looked behind him and knew he wasn't being followed and decided to head to the dungeon to get stronger and take his frustration out of the fact he retreated. His pride didn't let him off easily and knew that she was too strong for him despite his skills and enhanced body. He decided to spend the next few days inside the dungeon to get stronger and managed to get down to the 10th floor before heading back since he wasn't ready yet for the 10th floor.

After a while he finally got home after turning in all the drop items and shards and got 7.5M Valis. He didn't care about the money all that much and he even managed to kill a jack bird which it's egg sells for 1M Valis. He was beyond exhausted and was only able to last as long as he did was due to the few potions he had and his passive regen. As soon as he took a shower and plop onto his bed, he fell asleep instantly and was knocked out.

Freya was watching from time to time and knew that he was partially safe but still had one of her members follow him in case something happened. She was not willing to risk her golden egg on anything. She knew this boy was special and was slowly nurturing him to bloom like a beautiful but deadly Rose.

She knew that she had the boys loyalty for know but that could change quickly so she was acting as a motherly figure to him and it was working. She noticed that he opened up to her slowly and for some reason, it made her happy beyond the normal.

She would sometimes let him sleep on her lap while running her fingers threw his hair while he slept and knew that she was growing attached but didn't mind it in the slightest. All Goddesses crave having their own child but unfortunately couldn't. So she accepted him and decided to treat him as her own child and didn't care what her familia thinks.

All she knew was that she wanted to watch and nurture this child to become one of the strongest adventurers out there. She will make sure he becomes a legend among legends.
