CRYING, SHAKING, THROWING UP

"YUJIN-AH, I understand that you're curious about my past relationship with Nightmare– but I hope you don't pry anymore than you've already done."

"I can see why Auntie thinks I'm prying," Yujin admitted, then she clenched her hands tight. "But this matter is connected to my mother. The ghost said that you sacrificed my mother's life for your lover, Aunt Hayi."

Aunt Hayi smiled sadly at her. "Do you believe the ghost more than you trust me, Yujin-ah?"

"It's not like that, Auntie," she said. "I don't believe the ghost. But I'm not happy that you always keep me in the dark. I know that you think you're doing it for my sake. However, it only makes me doubt you, Aunt Hayi. And I hate feeling this way."

"Oh."

After that soft "oh," her aunt fell silent for a moment.

"I suppose you'll feel that way," Aunt Hayi said, nodding. "I'd like to tell you everything, but I can't."
