Death Squadron

"Who is in charge of this 'Death Squadron' group?" Jayden sternly asked with a frown.

"He calls himself.... The Grim Reaper!" Sting answered, staring earnestly at the young player in front of him.

"And what do you intend to do If I agree to help you?" Jayden further questioned.

"I wanna take him down!" He swiftly replied.

Hearing his reply, Jayden remained silent as he pondered on what action he would take. Out of the blues, he said "I'll think about it", swiftly walking away.

"Huh?" Sting couldn't help but awkwardly exclaim, ruefully chuckling at Hellsing.

"Hey, where are you going?" He indignantly commented, stomping behind Jayden who was slowly increased his pace.

"To think about it" Jayden awkwardly replied, obviously not wanting to help out.

Noticing this, Sting immediately halted his incessant pursuit, sadly staring at Jayden who continued to steadily increase his pace.

"I understand...." Sting genially said.

"I'm sorry for bothering you" He further added, preparing to leave the vicinity.

His sad but cheerful words incited Jayden's thought, throwing his into a temporary state of disarray. He was currently having a mental battle on either to help out or walk away. This slowly caused Jayden to feel mental strain which was accompanied with slight headache and dizziness.

"Shit" He cursed, caressing his aching head.

Turning around, Jayden slowly walked towards a gloomy Sting who was pondering on his next course of action.

"Why would a group player want to take over Backwater?"

Tge question flew through his eyes, grabbing his attention and also shocking him. The young male looked to his left where the question originated and was greeted by a familiar sight. It was obviously Hellsing.

He saw Jayden caressing his silky hair while staring at him.

"Also, why do you want to take them down?" Jayden further questioned.

Lost of words, Sting did nothing but incredulously stare at Hellsing, shocked by the fact that he didn't refuse to offer.

Seeing this, Jayden awkwardly gazed at Sting, frantically waving his hands at the player's face, yelling "Oi Sting.... Sting.... Earth to Sting".

Waking to reality, Sting responded with a 'Huh' still dazed by Jayden's decision.

"Does this mean you're gonna help me?" Sting curiously inquired, trying his utmost best to hide his excitement.

"Hmmm.... Like I said before" Jayden slowly said, fixating his gaze on a curiously incited Sting.

"I'm thinking about it!" He excitedly added, with a bright but sadistic smile.

Judging by his smile, Sting was able to deduce what Jayden meant. He knew deep down that Jayden, or rather, He knew that Hellsing was definitely going to help him.

"Alright!" He simply answered.

Jayden remarked, steering back to his previous question "So back to my question.... Why would this Grim Reaper guy group up a bunch of players to take over Backwater?".

"I don't actually know, but my guess is that the guy is a total nutcase..." Sting wryly. commented.

"I think by taking over Backwater District, he'd be one step closer to conquering Nevrex empire" He added, stroking his chin.

"I guess that makes sense" Jayden said, pondering earnestly on what Sting had just said.

After a brief moment of silence, Jayden further questioned, "So why do you want to take them down?".

"Well, My resolve to take down started way back when I newly became player...." Sting began narrating.

"Oh, here comes the sob story" Jayden internally said, rolling his eyes.

"As rookie, I found a bunch of nice Players. They practically took care me and thanks to them, I was able become a strong Player quickly. Our ultimate goal was to Level up and have fun while doing so.

Things went sour when we met with him. The Player known as The Grim Reaper and with him, were his Squadron. We practically defiled his orders and so, he had us executed.

We fought earnestly for our lives but at the end, it was pointless. They all died and only I escaped" Sting explained.

Judging by the story he just heard, Jayden already knew where it was going and the outcome to expect, "So, before you leave Backwater District, you wanna get your revenge".

This vivid deduction was thanks to his immense knowledge on various vengeance themed Web novels, films and animes he constantly watched when he was alive .

"Exactly" Sting wasted no time in responding as he clenched his fist tightly, displaying pure anger and hatred towards the Death Squadron.

"Alright then... Come on, let's go" Jayden brightly said.

"Huh?"

"What are doing they looking dazed and confused?" Jayden curiously inquired, awkwardly glaring at a confused Sting.

"You said you wanna get revenge, so that's what we are gonna do" He further added, wearing a slick smirk.

"Let's go kill some bastards!" Both Players simultaneously and gleefully exclaimed.

Few Minutes later,

Two young guys were seen slowly strolling through the eerie streets of Backwater District. These guys were none other than Sting and Hellsing.

They were basically discussing about their game plan and how they wouldn't attack and destroy the entire Death Squadron.

"This is nice" Jayden unconsciously blurted, confusing both himself and his partner.

"Huh, what do you mean ?" Sting confusedly inquired, staring earnestly at his partner.

"Before coming here, my life was really awkward, boring and kind of lonely...." Jayden slowly began his sober narrating.

Just like before, Sting sighed and he rolled his eyes, "Here comes the sob story!".

Ignoring his mocking comment, Jayden proceeded with his narration, " I didn't really have any friends, my Dad died at a young age.... I barely remember him. The only one I had, was my Mom..... It was just the two of us, until I died".

"Well, you've got me now bro" Sting cheerfully exclaimed, pouncing on Jayden's shoulder.

"Yeah.... If you say so" Jayden awkwardly stared at the cheery young male.

"By the way, How did you get here?" Jayden suddenly asked as his interest suddenly got piqued.

"I don't really remember my past life. All I can remember is being beaten up by a bunch of dudes and then I died"

Hearing this, Jayden couldn't help but laugh as he thought that the way Sting died was lame and hilarious. Another thing he found hilarious, was the fact that Sting couldn't recall his past life.

"That's stupid!" Jayden laughed, riling Sting's temper.

"What's so hilarious?" Sting irately inquired, frowning at Hellsing.

"You got beaten to death" Jayden answered, further increasing the intensity of his laughter.

"How about you, how did you die?" Sting scornfully inquired, preparing to drill sense into Jayden's head.

"I got hit by a Truck" He answered.

Hearing about Jayden's death, Sting also couldn't help himself as he erupted into laughter.

"Asshole, why are you laughing?" Jayden inquired, obviously spited by Sting's hysterical laughter.

"You got killed by a Truck" Sting wryly remarked.

"At least I wasn't beaten up to death like a weakling" Jayden remarked, mocking his wry partner.

"Damn you!" Sting exclaimed, chasing Jayden with his fist held high in the air

Both of them ran as fast as they can, trying to playfully attack each other. Basically, they were actually acting like five year old, playing in sand or a roundabout.

"Oi get back here you Lame ass Virgin!" Sting mockingly exclaimed, riling Jayden up.

"Hey... who told you I'm a Virgin?" He responded, glaring at Sting who was hysterically laughing.

"No one. I figured, since you had no friends in your past life that also means you never had a girlfriend and you never got laid!" Sting slyly explained, trying to further annoy Jayden.

His eyes immediately twitched in annoyance as he confirmed what Sting was bluntly true, "Damn you Asshole!" .

Just like that, their was position immediately reversed with Jayden who was previously the pursued, becoming the pursuer and Sting who was the pursuer, becoming the pursued.

"Hold still Dumbass, don't you see I'm trying to murder you!"

"No way, I'm not ready to die again!"

They continued their back and forth taunts and pursuit, covering a decent distance. Before they realized themselves, they had finally arrived at Death Squadron turf.

Noticing this, Sting immediately halted his chase as he stared at the odd and eerie environment. Dark gray fog could be seen, obscuring this entire vicinity. Another thing one could notice was the recurring broken skull symbol engraved on the buildings, walls, streets and also flags.

Taking note of these landmarks, Sting knew where he was. Meanwhile, Jayden who was completely unfamiliar with this area, nervously stared at the sight in front of him.

"Sting, where are we?" Jayden curiously inquired, wearing a stern expression.

"We're in Death Squadron's territory" He promptly answered, glaring in anger.

Both their cheerful demeanor completely disappeared as they both wore furious and stern facial expression, slowly strolling the gray fog. Sting's dazzling Sniper rifle slowly digitized right out of nowhere while Jayden activated one of his Active Skills.

<>

Right out his Power Gauntlets, two azure colored blades promptly digitized.

"Their hideout isn't far... Do you remember the plan?" Sting said.

"Yeah" He simply replied.

"Alright then, let's go murder some bastards"
