108. Memories Made in the Library

The sullen look of the man washed away the embarrassment brought upon by the flashing images of their last rendezvous in her mind. She averted her gaze away from him, still getting conscious of her heated face.

Though she wondered why the Grand Duke seemed upset, Mona only straightened her back and waited for him. She had an inkling that the dissatisfaction on his face was due to her skipping breakfast.

She burped unintentionally, causing the man to raise his brows. When he looked around, he found the leftovers of her breakfast and his expression somehow reverted to usual again. She knew it!

The man was upset after not seeing her in the dining hall.

She regretted not giving him a heads-up about her plans, but that was because she was scared to bump into Sandra since the maid woke up early as well.

She opened her mouth to voice out her reason, but the Grand Duke beat her to it.
