127. A disgusting talk

"…argh…"

Mona groaned in pain as she tried to lift her arms. It felt like her body was being pinned down, as though there was a heavy object lying above her. She opened her eyes, but she didn't find anything.

Yet the heaviness remained.

When the last memories she had flashed in her mind after a few minutes, her eyes trembled. Only then did she notice the unfamiliar room she was in. She quickly sat up, wincing from the pain that rushed down through her body.

"Where…am I?"

Mona mumbled to herself. She scanned the room, but other than a bed and a small cabinet in the corner, there was nothing inside anymore. The small window was quite high, but with the small light that passed through, she could tell it was already daylight.

How long was she gone? How many days had she been sleeping?

She checked her body, only to be surprised at what state she was in. She was only wearing a thin robe, revealing her limbs wrapped in bandages.
