CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE: The assassin should be killed!

“A king breaking the laws of his own kingdom is not really compelling to his subjects.” Arian scowled at King Conroy.

“And by not breaking the law. You mean I should agree to you burning my mate for she tried to assassinate me?”

“If you put it that way, then yes! You were barely able to stop the takeover your omega had planned.”

“Your skanky wolf should be grateful to my mate or you would have no King breaking laws. She saved me back in Ancientrova.” Conroy responded as he peered at the scrolls in front of him.

He was in his study with his Beta.

“Why should I be grateful to the one who tried to kill you? She is not befitting of the seat of the queen. You should reject the mate bond and take your mistress, Luna Antoinette as your queen of Valeria.” Arian argued. “If she hadn’t shown up, you wouldn’t have gone to that blood-sucker Kingdom and there wouldn’t have been an attempt to take Valeria by those rogues.” He added gloomily.
