Nate's POV
I watched from the sidelines with my heart in my throat as Ember and Beatrice faced each other, their eyes locked on each other as they circled each other slowly.
The air positively crackled with the tension between the two, a cloud of tension that reached its tendrils out and infected each of the spectators one by one.
The only solace that I could find in this whole situation was that I had made sure Ember had received training from the best of the best. Rob knew his area of work inside out, and he had done his best to ensure that Ember knew everything that he did.
By his own admission, he hadn't expected much from Ember or Becky when he first laid eyes on them, but had quickly been surprised at just how easily they had picked up his instruction, and absorbed the information.
Beatrice was expecting an easy match, but I knew damn well she wasn't going to get one.
