  “Just do whatever you want,” I mumbled and put my hands in my pocket, glancing at Liam. “But don’t forget that I have the proof against you too. You expose me, I expose you. Because I won’t go to my doom alone.”

  Liam chortled hearing me. He approached me and said, “Vexon Bevine. Do I look that much stupid?”

  I glanced at him from head to toe, before nodding my head in agreement. “You do.”

  Rolling his eyes, Liam told me, “I just wanted to see your reaction to this picture. I won’t expose you.”

  “Good to know that you are not as stupid as you look like,” I told him and took a seat on the sofa of my study. “Have a seat,” I offered Liam and he sat as well.

  “Look, we can call it even,” said Liam, looking at me, “I have proof against you and you have proof against me. So we can just not bother each other.”

  I hummed in response. “We can stay even as long as we don’t betray each other. Once one betrays, the other one goes down as well,” I announced.
