Tommy POV
I can’t sleep. For some strange reason, my wolf is restless and can’t stop pacing around in my mind.
Ever since I smelled those silly burned eggs at lunch, he can’t seem to settle down. I don’t have any idea why, though. He isn’t talking to me, which is making me restless, too.
A wave of panic washes over me as I softly ask, “What is wrong? Did something happen?”
Just like the rest of the night, my only answer is silence.
I roll onto my side and stare out the window. I’m sure it won’t be long before Owen comes into my room and carries me back into his bedroom. Tonight, though, I just want to be alone.
Unfortunately, I know if I really want some sleep, my only option will be to sleep with Owen and Finn. Ugh… Why does my life have to be so complicated?
I continue staring out the window as I take a shaky breath.
