Chapter 28: Semi-Finals.

As we progress further we have multiple battles going by relatively quickly. Jirou lost her match against a student from class 1-B. Papyrus won his match against a student from class 1-B. Mina,Sero,Sato,and Momo lost their matches. And Todoroki won his match. "AAAALRIGHT FOLKS FOR THE STARTING MATCH OF THE SEMI FINALS WE HAVE ENEL V.S CALLY '' Mic shouted as the crowd cheered. "This oughta be good" Bakugou said as Enel and Cally walked onto the arena from opposite sides. "3..2..1 Fight!" Mic shouted as Cally created a bow and arrow out of light and shot a light arrow at Enel. Enel made a spear of lightning and deflected the arrow and rushed at Cally. "Lightning Copy" Enel said as two clones of Enel made of lightning sprout from his body and onto the arena. "He's pretty fast, I need to be on my toes" Cally thought as she turned the bow and arrow made of light into a light whip which she spun around and took out the clones and tried to hit the actual Enel with it. Enel managed to dodge the attack but barely. "Her attack speed should be relative to light speed but her actual comprehension isn't at light speed. So that means if i can just blitz around her she shouldn't be able to tag me at all" Enel thought as he managed to tag Cally with an electric palm strike which sent her sliding all the way to the edge of the arena and momentarily paralyzed. "I can't move!" Cally said as Enel chuckled "i temporarily shut your nerves down with a well-time electric shock to the back which is connected to your central nervous system" Enel said as Cally could start to move again and nearly took Enel's eye with a light attack. "GET AWAY!" Cally shouted as light blades spawned around her and were fired at Enel. One cut his cheek and right under his eye and one was about to take his entire eye if he didn't close it in time. "Gah!" Enel said as he covered his right eyes. "Hmm,your quirk switches to a more lethal form when in distress. Quite interesting." Enel said as he jumped back. "My Turn" Enel said as his smile grew and a sense of bloodlust washed over the entire stadium which was so thick that it gagged some people. "FInishing Move: Heavenly Arrow Assault!" Enel said as multiple lighting clones formed in the sky with bows and arrows made of lightning. Cally saw this and in turn made a plethora of Light blades. Cally fired these light blades while half her body was parlylzed as the clones fired the arrows. As the blades and the arrows clashed, the original Enel walked over to the distracted Cali and kicked her out of the arena giving him the win. The crowd cheered except Bryce who was slightly angered that Enel would use his bloodlust and assassin Techniques against her.

"ALRIGHT FOLKS THAT MATCH WAS QUITE THE SPECTACLE, ENEL KAMINARI WON THAT MATCH. NEXT UP WE HAVE BRYCE AKIDO V.S W.D PAPYRUS!" Mic shouted as Papyrus hopped from the stands onto the arena. Bryce then hopped from the opposite side "heh this is gonna be fun." Bryce said as he started to flicker the color of soul traits he had. "Whatever you say pal." Papyrus said as he stretched. "3..2..1..FIGHT!" Mic said as Bryce made a knife made of D.T and rushed at Papyrus. Papyrus smirked as he dodged all of Bryce's attacks. "What, you thought I'd stand there and take it?" Papyrus said as he summoned a blaster. Unlike San's blasters which look more passive, Papyrus's blasters look a lot more menacing and aggressive. They both are dragon like skulls but one looks more docile and one looks like it feeds on the fears of innocent children. Bryce was caught off guard and hit by a blast from point blank range. The orange beam sent him flying into the air. Bryce crashed back down with a smoke trail as his clothes were slightly scorched. "So..Akido, mind telling me about that power of yours that you displayed against Frisk '' Papyrus said as his tone went from relaxed to serious along with his demeanor. "I don't know what you're referring to, '' Bryce said as he stumbled to get back up but fell down on the ground. "My body feels heavy, and my chest feels like it's burning" Bryce thought as there was an orange glow around him. "Don't bother moving, but that power you used against Frisk. It felt oddly familiar, so explain!" Papyrus said as one of his eyes gained a bright orange glow that trailed off. "I can't help you, i genuinely don't remember!" Bryce said as Papyrus smirked "Heh, you must think i'm an idiot" Papyrus then took his hand out of hands out of his pockets as one of his hands had an orange glow around it. Papyrus then threw that hand into the air and sent Bryce flying into the air. "If you don't want to give me the answers i know you have then i'll just force them out of you!" Papyrus angrily said as he summoned 5 blasters and fired them all at Bryce. Bryce managed to make a D.T barrier that held long enough that he could land on the ground. "*huff* I don't know what you mean but i won't go down without a fight. HAAAAH!" Bryce shouted as a familiar reddish pink aura swirled around him "D.T X20!" Bryce shouted as he rushed at Papyrus. Papyrus dodged most of Bryce's attacks but was hit by one of them. "RED RUSH!" Bryce shouted as he dashed around Papyrus at such high speeds he made after images. "The strain this is putting on my body is immense, but if this move knocks him out quick then-" Bryce thought as he hit a wall of orange bones.

"BRO CALM DOWN!" Sans shouted from the stands as he could see Papyrus getting worked up. "If he continues like this he'll end up killing Bryce" Sans thought as some of the heroes in the stands tried to get involved but Papyrus noticed this and put a wall of tall orange bones "Stay out of this, this is between me and him" Papyrus said as Bryce huffed and puffed as his body was on the verge of collapse. "Damn, I don't know what has him worked up, but maybe reasoning with him will work '' Bryce thought as the voices in his head were oddly silent. All except one he's never heard before. One that was the true source of his D.T and the manifestation of his hate combined. "Heh, the smiley trashbag is all worked up again, how funny" the voice said as Bryce was too focused on surviving to notice. "Look if i did something wrong i apologize, i believe that everyone can change. Maybe if you just gave me a chance I could help you-" Bryce said this infuriated Papyrus beyond belief. "What a sick sense of humor you have, repeating his last words to me. Heh, it's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming, on days like these, people like you. S H O U L D B E B U R N I N G I N H E L L!!" Papyrus said as he summoned a dozen blasters, a multitude of orange bones, and used the move he used before to hold Bryce in place. All the attacks hit Bryce head on and caused a massive explosion. "Hehehehehe, looks like the smiley trashbag has finally reached his limit" a mysterious voice said as the smoke cleared. A black and red barrier blocked the attack. "What's wrong smiley trashbag, you look like you've seen a ghost" the mysterious voice said as it had a black sword with red shine. It dashed at Papyrus at blistering speeds and nearly took his head off. Whatever this thing was it had comendered Bryce's body and was a part of his quirk somehow. "Just the person I wanted to see," Papyrus said as he fired multiple blasters but to no avail. It darts around the lasers and actually slices one of the basters in half and then dashes behind Papyrus. "It's okay to be scared, Papyrus, we both know how this ends" it said as it slashed Papyrus on the back. "Get away you freak!" Papyrus shouted as it grabbed him by the face and threw him into the tall orange bones he used to stop anyone else from interfering. It then followed up by sending multiple D.T field hate slashed at Papyrus. Papyrus narrowly dodged but wasn't uninjured as one caught him on the arm. "Shit" Papyrus said as he tried to move but was stopped as a black knife hit right next to where his temple was. More knives came and pinned him to place as it walked towards Papyrus while scraping its sword on the ground. Papyrus fired many bones and blasters as he managed to get unstuck. "Really this again?" it said as it cut down everything in its way. "Heh, I'll spare you this time, trash bag. I want to fight you at your strongest next time, so it'll hurt your dearest brother more when I decapitate you in front of him at your strongest." It said as he kicked Papyrus in the head and slashed him across the face, not too deep but just enough that it'll leave quite the scar. Papyrus was too injured to move as the tall orange bones were all sliced down by it. Papyrus was outside of the arena unconscious. "Uhhhhhh…i guess Bryce is the winner" Mic said as the crowd was fearfully silent as it walked off of the arena.

Bryce fought for control the entire time this was going on and managed to get control after it let him. "Hehehe, your welcome" it said as Bryce angrily shouted "what the hell is wrong with you!?" it looked at Bryce as it laughed hysterically. "Oh god! You're even stupider than I thought! HAHAHA! You seriously haven't realized it, I'm the true nature of your quirk. I'm what you were supposed to be! Metaphorically speaking of course, but in dumb dumb terms. I'm the manifestation of your hate and D.T. All that hate and angst you feel, all that terrible feeling, the feeling of futility. I'm the one that fuels you with the power to do something about it" it said as Bryce tried to move but was restricted as black tentacles wrapped around his legs and neck. "Sit there like a good boy and let me explain this in even dumber terms. I'm the first user of this quirk, my name is @#$%!*. You and your partner Chara have been in control for way too long and have been using my quirk all wrong, you don't mind if I take the driver seat for a bit do you" it said as Bryce was pulled under into a dark abyss in his mental scape. "Damn you, DAMN YOU!!!" Bryce shouted as his head was completely submerged. "Good to be back" it said as Bryce's eyes went from their normally bright red to a deep maroon color.
