Road And Bandits

I entered the town. It was very early in the morning. Sun just raised so only a few can be seen. Before entering the town I changed my clothes that was covered with blood. I was roaming the town when I saw an inn. the inn was open since morning because it was a running business. I entered the inn then I saw I fat old man and a woman cleaning the inn. they noticed my presence and a woman who was in his mid 40's ask

"How may I help you."

"I need a room."

"Oh you are very lucky sir, we had just one room that is empty."

"I book it for 1 day."

It's not one day since I will be leaving in the evening or night. Night Journey will be safe for me since in day someone may find out my identity.

"Will you eat here also?"

"Yes, living for 1 day and 3 meals how much."

"It will be 10 silver, 5 for living, and 5 for food."

"I'm good, And can I get some water to clean myself?"

"Sure, You get to your room I'm bringing the water."

After paying off old lady give me a key and told me the room is upstairs in the last row. I walked to get into my room then the old fat man from earlier was near the stairs.

"Are you an adventurer young man?"

After coming to this world he was the first man who talked to me rudely.

"Yes, Any problem."

Since he asked in rough I answer it roughly. The man was shocked at how I answered him. He was about to say something I ignored him and left for my room.

"It's small."

The room was smaller than I thought. I jump onto my bed, the bed was small but I did not care I was too tired to care after 30 minutes I heard the door knock. Opening the door I receive water in a bucket from the lady. I took off my hood and all my clothes. there was a small mirror In my room. I stand in front of the mirror and I have to say if I had the body and face in my old world I could become a pop star or a model. I cleaned myself with water. I felt really good after cleaning myself. after cleaning I returned to bed to fall asleep. I wake up at noon when the old lady brings my food to my room.

"Should I go around and check the city?"

It was the first time Richard had left Cruz territory. Richard never felt like leaving since he had everything needed in dukedom.

"Nah, I should rest since I have a night's Journey ahead."

Richard left the idea to check the town since he will have another night's Journey without sleep so Richard just closes his eyes and is lost in the land of dreams. At noon Richard woke up to the sound of door knocking. he opened the door and see the lady of this inn bringing lunch for him. Richard took the food and said thanks to the inn lady. time passed and night come Richard left the inn after having dinner in it. if you count in the clock it will be 9 pm. Richard and emu started their journey again.

6 hours pass since Richard started his journey. He was just a forest roadway from the lake. In 6 hours cross the town and the Earl's territory. This jungle road is the way to the capital. Richard was close to the capital when he suddenly heard a shout from ahead of him. when he reached out to shout he saw merchants were fighting with bandits. Richard observes them from afar for a moment.

"It seems they were fighting equally."

Non-party were dominating others. Merchants were shouting for help. If they had one or two people with them they might win.

"Should I help them?"

Richard asked himself because Richard was not a fan of being a hero or anything.

"I'm not a hero so it's not my responsibility to help them but it may get help from them since they are Marchant."

I reach to with a heroic entry and attack the bandit who was fighting with female Marchant. 5 minutes after Richard joined Marchant bandit started to retrieve since they were losing side.

The dead body of bandits and Marchants were on the ground, some Marchant was crying. Maybe they were related to deads. Losing someone close is hard for once. I know that because I lost my parents in my past life.

A middle-aged man comes to thank me

"Thank you, young man, You saved us."

"I did what was right."

'Wow, That was one hell of a cool moment of my life. I look so cool 😎.'

Richard kept a serious face on the outside and was grinning on the inside.

"Where are you guys going."

"We are going capital."

"Ooh if it's no problem for you guys can I tag along with your group."

The old man was thinking for a moment and then agreed.

"You helped us so we can at least do this for you."

"Thank you very much."

After that old man introduces everyone to Richard and resumes my journey with them. in this group, Everyone was a grown-up adult. For them Richard look you boy with his teen, So they were friendly with me. At the rise of the sun, We were close to the capital but for Richard, His journey has ended. He says his goodbye to Marchants.

"What do we have here."

I was In front of the lake. The lake looked beautiful in the early sunshine was falling on lake water it looks very beautiful at this moment.

"All I need is to jump in the lake."

Without thinking twice I jump on the lake to get what I want.
