The Night Out

As Mr.Richard Wrestler walked out the building. He received a call and looking at it, he wished that he could ignore it. As much as he liked David's proposal, he had not yet had a meeting with Cooper builders. The competition had become tight and he was known to concider the best. Cooper builders had become the rival company of Wilson Home Creator's and thinking about it, he realized that he actually had to consider hearing their proposal. He picked up the phone and as soon as it connected, he knew the question. He had anticipated it.

"Yes Mr.Cooper," he spoke candidly as he listened to the voice at the other end of the call. An anxious voice.

Sebastian was hoping to present his proposal to Mr. Wrestler hoping that he had not yet met with David. Knowing that David always had tricks up his sleeve made him worried but he was a tud too late. But was he really? He had held his breath for too long and Mr. Wrestler was the key to unlock the tense air.

"Okay, let's meet tomorrow at 8:00 am," Richard uttered giving out the air Sebastian was lacking, but was quickly held back by his words. "But I must warn you, make sure you have a better proposal than the Wilson Home Creator's. Richard connected the call and got into his car.

His words created anguish in Sebastian it dawned on him that the game was not over. It was just starting. Every move on the chess board was important and he had to choose his pawns carefully.

He went back into his seat and picked up his landline to call the secretary and when nobody picked up, he called Peter into his office. He was angry. Devastated. Or was he afraid? He threw off his things from the table and was just about to throw his phone when Peter walked in.

"Hey! man. Why don't you flash it down the toilet this time. I don't want another scar on my smooth face. I had to apply makeup on and almost lost my grip on the ladies," Peter busted out as he sat on the opposite side of Sebastian's desk. Sebastian sighed and pulled over his desk and clumped into it as if heavy from breathing.

"Where is the secretary? I keep calling and she isn't answering!" Sebastian chanted frustrated. He had never felt defeated before getting into a war.

Yes, it was a war to him. A war David had started and he was going to fight him head on. He was relying on the money to expand his business and than ever he could not let everything he had worked so hard to achieve.

"You fired her, remember!" Peter was not surprised at all. It had become his norm to fire his secretaries for no good reason.

"Did I?" Sebastian looked up wondering but again snapped out of it as he did not consider it important.

" I brought along the applications of the designer position," He stretched the document he had in hand over to him but he did not bother to look at it.

"Where is the proposal for the hotel project of the Austin's group of companies? I wanna look at it."

"I am doing the final touch ups and you know, we don't yhave a designer so am trying as much as I can to make it better. Is that what's stressing you? Have you talked to Mr. Wrestler?" Peter had now guessed that having a talk with Richard would have made things worse for them at the moment and that's why he was acting up.

"You'll send it to me tonight. I'll need to counter check it before our meeting with them tomorrow," Sebastian looked flustered and Peter understand. He could do no more than walk out to finish up with the walk. Peter walked out of the office only to find Mrs. Cooper coming in.

"Hello ma'am. How are you?" He could not hide that he was nervous.

"I'm good. Is Basti in?" Mrs. Cooper asked while stretching his neck and going into the office. Peter walked out and closed the door behind him.

The sight infront of her was shocking and she could not help but worry."Basti! What's going on here! What's wrong son?" Worry was written all over her face. Sebastian tried to collect the things on the floor and put them on the table.

"Hi mum, you didn't tell me you were coming," he walked over to her and gave her a hug. He hoped he could not ask further as to what was eating him up.

"Oh son! Can you stop being like this. Where is the secretary I brought to you the other day?" Mrs. Cooper looked at him and guessed that he had already fired him.

He had tried every way to make his son close to ladies yet every time he turned every chance down. "Come here," Mrs. Cooper asked her son to sit beside her on the coach just at the far end of the office next to the bar filled with books.

She was worried about her son and now that she had seen the havoc he had created in the office, she thought that it was time her son got time off work. What he didn't know was that it was the time that his son needed to sink into his work.

"Basti, I know you're busy everytime but I want you to do something for me. Can we have dinner tonight?" She asked knowing fully that he would not dare deny him.

"Just dinner mum, that's no problem. Anything for you." Sebastian warmed up to his mother. The smile that drew his cheeks wide could not be hidden. For him, only his mother deserved the best.

"Okay. I'll meet you in the West sand Hotel then. Don't keep me waiting," her mother bubbled happily as she hugged her son and walked out.

Time passed by so fast and before Natalie knew it, Sandra was calling her in to check if she was ready to go out.

"Shoot, I almost forgot. Is David here yet?" she asked as she stood up to head to the bathroom. "David will surely mock me!"

"He hasn't. You should thank me for reminding you. How about some delicious supper?"

"Don't push your luck young lady," she had to hurry up before David came and started mocking her.

Sandy was good at doing make up and on such a day, she never failed her. She was all brushed up when David arrived. He wore a tuxedo suit and was looking marvelous beneath the moon as he stood at the door . Natalie looked at him and smile. He was drooling over Natalie who even in those clothes that covered her body, he still viewed her as beautiful. Beneath the moon, David viewed her as a treasure. She had not worn heavy make up but still her bright face seemed more than beautiful. David stretched his hand while she held on to it.

"You guys have fun," Sandy smiled as she closed the door behind them. David opened the car door for her as she smiled while getting in.
