Levia Town

August and Seraphine teleported due to Seraphine's call.

They arrived in a place with the sun blinding both of them, the hard feeling from the feet by standing on stone. The sounds of people talking, children happily playing.

August was again reflected by the nostalgia, but he quickly shook it off his head.

He looked at the small fairy that was floating beside him with a serious look on his face.

"Hmm?"

Seraphine who noticed her companion being quiet all of sudden after their friendly talk. She looked at August and saw him staring at her.

She playfully smiled at him, because she knew what he was thinking about. But inwardly she was shocked because she didn't say anything about choosing towns, and for some odd reason August knew about it even being the first batch of players. Remembering the words he said before they got teleported: 'Wait, I gotta select my town'.

"What is it?" asked Seraphine with an innocent look that would melt anyones heart, while at the same feiging ignorance.

"...What town did we get teleported to." asked August, complety forgetting the 'newbies' like him shouldn't know about the town choosing option before more players started spreading information about the introduction.

"Levia Town".

"Arghh~, alright"

August exlaimed in frustration, because the town he wanted to choose beforehand was not Levia Town. But atleast it was in the same city, called Cesilan City.

In the Introduction Phase, you can choose your starting town from around hundreds of different towns. Each town has different quests, NPC's and lands.

The towns as the size of earth's medium-sized city. Levia Town is the same, but it's a little bigger than the other towns in Cesilan City.

Towns are a part of a city, while cities are part of a kingdom. For Cesilan City, it's a part of the Everlone Kingdom.

Seraphine decided to not dwell too much about why he knew about the teleportation town options. But decided to ask him later when he trusts her more, because she got the feeling that if she asked, she would've only worsen their relationship and she didn't want that to happen.

Meanwhile August went into thinking again, he readjusted and changed his plans to suit his new spawn location. A few moments later he finally formed a plan inside his head.

But before that he needed to hide this little fairy that would attract alot of player's attention and greed.

In his previous life, every player that had something that attracted attention would be put on every player's kill list for their item. Even August himself noted the players if he came across them to steal their killed' dropped item. But now it seems useless until the later stages.

"Sera, can you hide under my clothes to not attract attention."

"Hmm, no need, I can turn invisibly by using "Mana Invisibility" skill"

"Ok. That's good"

August inwardly released a sigh of breath, less attention means less trouble. It's even better that she can turn invisibly.

After their short talk he started walking towards a direction in the south. Seraphine followed closely behind him.

The duo could see players spawning the same spot where they previously teleported to. Some of them were exicted and looking around, while others are trying to get a quest from a nearby civillian or going directly outside the gates to hunt monsters.

They past by many different buildings such as: Adventure Guild, Alchemy Hall and big or small inns. (Explantion for those buildings in future chapters)

They continued their walk until they arrived in front of a shop, it was 10m wide and 20m in heigh. There was a door in the middle with windows on the right and left. It was painted in white color. On top of the door stood a wide and big sign saying 'Renia's Herb Shop'.

Even being around a few meters away from the building, he can still smell the herb aroma and smell coming from it.

They walked and stood in front on the door, August took the handle and opened it. The shop was around the same size as two ordinarys apartments. The scent of herbs lingering in the air makes the athmosphere calmer. People could be seen walking around the shop.

August ignored everything and walked straight to the cashier. Meanwhile Seraphine quietly followed him under her magic spell: Mana Invisibility.

The cashier in front August was a middle-aged woman in her 50's. She has brown eyes, brown hair and a little shorter than August. You can see a few wrinkles, but that still doesn't change her natural beauty, you can tell that she was a beautiful maiden durning her youthful days.

"Hello, how are you." asked August politety.

"Hmm? Young man, I'm good, how are you."

"I'm fine."

"So what business do you have here this early in the morning."

"I just need Bloom Flower and Rainscent Flower."

"Hmm.. Let me see..."

The cashier thought for a moment before resonding in regretful tone:

"Young man, we don't have any Rainscent Flower or Bloom Flower. We emptied the supplies out last day but we will get more next month, the demand is quite high this week"

"Hmm thank you, I can't wait for one month though. But do you know where I can find those flowers I mentioned." asked August after a moment of silence.

"Hmm, yes young man. You can find both the flower in Reran Grass Forest."

"Thank you, I'm off then."

"Wait!"

Just before August was about to leave the shop, a sudden voice stopped him.

"Hmm what is it miss?"

"Can you pick some extra Rainscent Flowers and Bloom Flowers when you at Reran Grass Forest. I will pay for your flowers, I would appreatie it."

"Sure."

The moment August accepted the her, a sudden message popped in front him:

August smiled when he saw the system message, this was exactly what he wanted. Also the 'extra reward' given flowers note is what he needed. He will earn xp and BRONZE Coins more if he give more than 10 flowers each. It's like the 'Repeatable Quest' type, but instead of getting the same multiple quests, you only get one.

He walked out of the shop with a happy smile on his face. Why? Because this quest is broken in the early-early game. 100 XP is like slaying ten monsters that are around level 4. But collecting 20 flowers is safer and easier, when compared to fighting monsters after monsters gaining little XP.

Even though Reran Grass Forest is marked as level 5 zone and there are level 5+ monster dwelling in the forest. It's still better than fighting monsters left and right and slightly increasing the XP Bar.

This collect herbs quest wasn't publicized until around a week into the game release. Those 100+ XP would be useless by then. But in the beginning, those juicy free XP are very good to level up with.

"Why are you so happy!?"

A sudden voice interupted inside August's mind and stopped his thoughts and good mood.

"Well, I got something good." said August inside his mind.

"Tch, being mysterious..." said Seraphine

August just shrugged his shoulders and ignored her comment. It's not worth mentioning the quest to this annoying fairy. But...

"I just realized something. Why do you look like you are more happy than getting the great me as your companion!"

"Well, it's none of your business.."

"Tch, you being annoying again!"

"Says the one who chose the town without my permission Hmph."

"Oyaa, it's your fault for talking back at the great me!"

"Annoying little fairy.."

"You!"

They continued their bickering all the way to town gates.

"Halt!"

A sudden voice interupted their chattering.

August stopped dead in his tracks, while Seraphine stopped talking and just stared at the owner of voice.

August looked at the person who just spoke:

He looked around to be in his early 40's Hhad black hair, piericing brown eyes and a body build of a muscle man. He wore iron armour and a iron helmet, together with his iron sword hanging on his belt. Anyone who knows about fantasy worlds know that he is a guard, who is guarding the city gates.

"Hmm? What is it?" asked August.

"Just wanna remind you that dozing off walking outside the city is not good." said the middle-aged guard, while staring at August's beginner clothes(aka noob)

"Oh thank you for your advice" replied August politety.

"Good. Sorry for bothering you young man."

August nodded his head and walked past the guards and the city gates.

Outside the city gates, where a plain grassland was seen. It seems the citizens or guards have cleared the area around the city.

August and Seraphine could also see players battling monsters-like rabbits, cows, pigs. They ignored their fights and continued their walk, but got stopped by a small monster...
