"Sense Eye." Lock muttered, and he looked around, where he saw small red figures, meaning life. The red figures were moving around and were the size of children. They were naturally goblins.

Lock had used his new skill to inspect if there were other creatures besides goblins in the floor, but it looked like there was nothing like that.

'I guess it escaped already or probably went to the final floor.'

Lock waved his bunt, and crushed a goblin's skull, turning its body to particles of light.

Lock saw an escaping goblin, and he threw his other bunt hitting the nape, turning him into particles of light. Goblins were pretty weak, and Moon had already improved his strength stat, so he was able to kill them with just one blow. On top of that, he was aiming for vital areas.

At this moment, the party had arrived.

Killing goblins was nothing special, but it looked like their young and new member were obsessed with killing them, despite how weak they were.

"Do you hate goblins or something? You're killing them all."

"I'm sure the next time they will spawn, they have already developed hatred for your face."

The party members joked.

"What are you doing?" Orean then asked Lock. By that question, he meant to ask why he wasn't doing his job as a scout.

After they saw him slaying all the weak monsters, they obviously couldn't let him continue. Otherwise, they will spend the rest of the day in this underground basement. The goblins would just respawn after a while. If they wanted to defeat the boss, they would have to rush to its base as soon as possible, while they were still at full strength.

Yet what was their scout doing?

"I thought you wanted to defeat the boss? Why are you spending your time slaying these weaklings?" Orean asked.

"Don't worry. It's not like I did not do my job. Except the boss' lair, I could already tell that there are no other creatures besides these things on this floor."

Mujad Ruins were only separated with three floors. The first one was the surface. The second floor was their current location, and the third and final floor was the lair of the boss.

"There's no other creatures. No way, something different must have come here. Otherwise, these goblins would not have run on the surface." Orean argued.

He was right. Normally, there were no monsters found on the surface of the Mujad Ruins. It was the place where mercenaries could rest. Monsters there also don't spawn no matter how many enter the danger zone.

But for some reason, some goblins had actually gone there.

That issue could only be explained by the possibility that another creature which was scary to the goblins had occupied their habitat.

Since the basement was still inhabited by goblins, that meant the "creature" must have occupied just a portion of the basement, or probably moved up a floor.

"Anyways, the creature we are looking for is not here. It must have gone to the lair of the boss." Lock said, and threw a pebble on the goblins' heads, drawing blood and breaking their skulls and ribs, as if they were target practice.

"Uwaak!"

Lock had already finished many monster lives, and he had already leveled up to level three, but there was no harm in gaining more experience points.

"Anyways, I'm still not finished. The boss door is right there. Just wait for me there for ten minutes." Lock said with a smile, before tightening his grip on his dual bunts again, and attacked the goblins.

"Uwack!"

"Snarl!"

"Waaaak!"

"Splat!"

Lock beat the goblins as if they were ants. Everywhere he went to, goblin corpses would fall onto the ground, and turn into particles of lights.

Several goblins clashed with his weapons, but they were too weak to go against his superior strength. Even a child will beat them, so how could he lose? It was a massacre.

The second floor was vast, and Lock had only explored half of the portion yet, so he had not met archers yet, and stronger goblins. But it did not really matter to Lock.

After two minutes, he saw some archers and they shot arrows at him, but the point of their arrows were pathetic. It was so rudimentary. Lock easily dodged every arrow with light steps and quick movements.

He then strangled two goblins in each hand, and used them as shields while charging towards the archers. Luckily, the goblins did not immediately turn to particles of light, so they were very useful until they finally met their death.

Lock smiled, and grabbed the blood-soaked bunt in his mouth that he had bitten while carrying the goblins in each hand. Then he waved it, and hit the arrows coming at him. The archer goblins were already very close, so he just made a dash and went to their side, making it hard for them to aim.

"Goodbye." Lock said, and he waved his bunt, hitting the temple of the archer goblin.

Lock wasn't finished yet, and he kicked a few more, sending them rolling into the ground. Lock moved like poetry in motion. He circled around the range and melee fighters, and slayed them all with his kicks, punches, hits, elbows, and weapons.

Lock continued to beat the goblin, uncaring if he suffered some injuries. Of course, they were only minimal, and they were mostly grazes.

Lock couldn't even tell apart because their blood had sprayed onto him countless times in the fight.

Particles of light continued to appear, surrounding Lock like a magnet of light.

Unfortunately, even after finishing almost all of the goblins that he could see - some escaped - he did not level up.

Lock used 'Sense Eye' but he could only see a few lifeforms on the floor, and they were very far from each other. Hunting them would not be worth his time.

After a while, Lock arrived at the entrance heading into the Boss Room.

Just as he arrived, he could tell some people really do not like him.

In their minds, Lock was obviously very rude, and disrespectful, as he managed to let them wait for him even though this was his grand plan.

Nonetheless, when he arrived, there were a few talking back and forth, but it all died down when the boss room was opened by Orean.

As soon as they opened the door, they saw a two meter goblin with steam coming out of his nose. It was also wielding a big wooden bat - the size of a ten year old - and was looking at them with anger reflecting in his green colored round eyes.
