Lost In Conversation

Baron Alfred could barely keep his mouth shut, tried to mumble, and only offered a different opinion to the prince. The man usually does not show affection for any of his lovers.

But this time, there was something strange about the prince's attitude. The man was being so stubborn over such a seemingly trivial matter.

"Then why don't you go to your lover's room instead? The room is provided, so you don't have to experience this problem, Your Majesty. You also don't have to try to get rid of women who don't want to go. All the other princes did the same."

"How can you tell me to go with them? Did you order me to come to a woman's room? What manner is that?"

Baron Alfred muttered to himself, thinking about his interlocutor. Trying to find the most suitable time to face the prince. "No, Your Majesty. I know. I'm just worried about you."

"If you please me, Your Majesty, I heard that a man in the southern island country used to do this work. They are experts in the care of women of status. Can you order me to look for things that match what you want?" Baron Alfred carefully told his master what Marquis Arnold had told him the last time he visited.

"Does that mean a foreign male will rule a woman's life from a major noble royal family here? Why are you so complicated? I need a maid who can do a good job. Is it too difficult?" rebuked the prince.

With Prince Carl Zeiss coldly questioning his abilities, Baron Alfred lowered his head and complied. "My apologies, Your Majesty. I will take responsibility and find the perfect maid."

The day after Prince Carl Zeiss went to the opera, Lisa visited Este personally. The woman asked, "Este, I heard something big happened yesterday?"

When asked such a question, the thought of yesterday's events flashed back, the moment when Este spilt wine on Prince Carl Zeiss. Este sighed and said in a low voice, "Does Maeve know?"

Seeing Este shake her head, Lisa responded, "Fortunately, no. I heard it from Conner yesterday. I'm so glad you're okay, without any major problems."

Lisa brushed her dark chestnut hair, comforting the distraught girl in front of her. Este is Sarah's daughter, who used to take care of her like an older sister when Lisa had just come out of the country. Lisa became a trainee at Opera Empress, where she learned to act, sing and dance.

When Sarah fell in love with Marquis Khan Wald and retired early to a mansion, Lisa felt as happy as she had experienced it herself. But when Sarah was kicked out overnight and returned to the opera with her young daughter, then died of an illness less than a year ago, Lisa felt depressed, for she had been looking forward to her future.

Twenty-eight years old Lisa is slowly taking over her prima donna position at the Opera Empress and is preparing to return to her hometown. Her relationship with Marquis Arnold was also coming to an end when she retired from opera. Like other artists, Lisa doesn't want to end in death while being the toy of a noble.

The woman felt more sorry for Este than the other children. Lisa sympathises because the girl's glamorous life has suddenly changed, so Este has to become a bum.

A person who lives in luxury is born of golden blood and has a noble name can be thrown into a tramp, especially with ordinary people. Lisa wants to be someone the young girl can rely on while she still has her popularity and power as an actress. She is indebted to the late Sarah, Este's mother.

The woman said sincerely, "Este if anything happens, make sure you call me, okay? Can you promise you won't go through everything alone or jump into something dangerous? I know you are a fearless and independent girl, but remember you are not fighting alone."

The girl smiled at Lisa's brown eyes and friendly attitude. "Thank you for taking care of me all this time. I'm so happy to have lots of places to return to when I'm having a hard time. I appreciate your words."
