Arland Bower, a highly trained special forces assassin, died after successfully sniping a Blood Daemon General. He was ripped to pieces by maddened Blood Daemon Captains nearby.



However, after a few seconds of sheer agony, he opened his eyes to a scene of unbelievable beauty.



He was lying on a green pasture, surrounded by picturesque streams, lakes and mountains. In the distance, he could make out shining gates of pearl with pavements of gold leading into and away from them.



"Huh? Am I in heaven?" He gasped in relief at the complete absence of pain and in surprise at the sudden change in his surroundings.



Unexpectedly, a soft but melodious voice rang out from behind him.
