Chapter 3

Jason was busy answering all the mails, he got in the last fifteen minutes, he was in his car sitting in the back seat with Austin who was busy in his own world, "What, about the files that went missing?" Jason asked Phil, who was sitting in the passenger seat.

"We are trying to search for them." Phil answered, Jason nodded his head,

"Why do I have to face, grandma's anger." Austin questioned but there was no reply, making him groan in frustration.

When they reached Jason's house, more like a mansion, they entered in the house but there was dead silence, making Jason worry about grandma.

"Welcome back Mr Kenwood, Welcome Mr Jones." One of the maids greeted him, making Jason give a nod in return, Austin gave a small smile to her.

"Where is grandma?" Jason asked worriedly, "She is in her room." She said, Austin and Jason went towards her room, but Austin stopped right outside her room, making Jason raise his eyebrow in a questioning way.

"I-I think you should go and talk to her, I will be in your room." Austin tried to run, but Jason took a hold of his blazer from behind stopping him, "You better come with me." Jason threatened him.

Entering grandma's room there was silence, when Jason saw her sitting on, one of the chair in her room, "Grandma." Jason called her softly, making grandma turn her head towards him.

"Come in." Grandma's voice was stern making Jason gulp in fear. "What happened?" Jason asked, Austin was quitely standing behind Jason, not wanting to face grandma.

"You have the guts to question me what happened!" Grandma shouted making Jason stop right in front of her.

"Grandma I'm sorry, it was really important." Jason tried to make her understand, "This was the same excuse you gave me last time." Scarlett reminded him, "When will you give importance to something else than work."

"It's something I love the most." Jason sighed, "But I want you to love someone more than your work." Grandma said, her eyes shining with a hint of sadness, making Jason feel bad.

"What should I do, to make you happy?" Jason asked with determination, sitting beside, her chair.

'Right in her trap' Austin thought when he saw grandma smirking, "I want you to bring the girl that you love…" Scarlett said, "To meet me within the next six months."

Jason widen his eyes, how was he supposed to get someone to meet her within six months, he doesn't have anyone in his life. "Grandma that's not fair." Jason said.

"Don't worry grandma, we will surely find someone in this six months." Austin smiled at her, "Do that, but don't teach him your ways to flirt with women." Grandma said, making Jason chuckle and Austin a little embarrassed.

"And remember if you don't find someone, I will set you up with the girl you met last month." Scarlett threatened making Jason widen his eyes, "NO! I-I will surely find my love in this six months." Jason stuttered.

"So we will take our leave, we have an important party to attend." Austin said, Jason suddenly gritted his teeth in anger, "Is everything okay?" Scarlett asked she noticed the sudden change in Jason's behaviour.

"Nothing grandma, we will leave." Saying that Austin dragged Jason, out of her room, "Please try to control you anger." Austin sighed, "I just can't." Jason almost shouted.

"Relax man, go get ready, I will pick you up in an hour." Austin said and went towards his home while Jason went in his room to get ready.

Jason took a shower to calm himself, he had to remind himself not to get angry at the party, when he was done, he went in his closet to get ready, he wore black pant with a white shirt, his black blazer had a bit shine. His brown eyes had determination in them, ready to meet that guy today. His hair were set backwards, some strands of his hair were falling towards his eyes.

"Listen don't get angry, try to keep your calm, there will be a lot of people, so-" Austin kept on instructing Jason.

Jason rolled his eyes at him " Stop! I won't get angry." Jason assured him, Austin still didn't believe him.

Entering the Party, there were all his business partner, rivals and most importantly he was here, the guy he was waiting for three years.

"Don't lose your calm." Saying that Austin went towards one of the woman in the party, Jason got busy with talking to his business associates, when he felt a tap on his shoulder, turning around, he saw a woman in a golden gown, smiling at him.

For a second he was confused, he had no idea who she was, but then he remembered, she was the one he went on a date last time, "Do you remember me?" She asked, with a smile on her face, Jason sighed "Yes, I do…" He smiled and answered, "I'm sorry, It was rude of me to leave like that."

"Is this how you behave to your guest!" A girl shouted, Jason saw, she was wearing a purple gown, beside her a girl in a blue dress was trying to calm her.

Jason was enjoying the show, they were right in front of them, 'And Austin thought, only I'm capable of doing this' he thought. She was shouting at a man, who was a bit embarrassed, "Why is she creating a scene." the woman in golden gown said, rolling her eyes.

"He might have done something." Jason said, as he was about to leave from there, a splash of water, made him stunned, he looked at himself, he was completely wet, there were gasp heard from everywhere.

"Oh.. I'm sorry." The girl in the purple gown came towards him, there was a glass on water in her hands that was empty, Jason saw her gulping in fear, he was sure she could see he was very angry, "What ha-" Austin stopped what he was about to say when he saw Jason completely soaked.

"Why did you do this?" Jason questioned the girl with the glass.
