Chapter 64

Claire was staring at the gifts that Sarah unboxed, she could clearly see all the gifts were expensive and from some well-known brands.

"What did you give her?" Claire got startled by the person behind her, turning around to she saw Jake giving her his usual gummy smile.

"Oh Jake...you scared me!"

"Sorry." Jake apologized, he was staring at her, which she was not aware of.

"It's fine, and I gave her something that she might enjoy a lot!" Claire said confidently, "Um... Let me guess is it a pastry or something to eat?" Jake asked, "It's not a pastry but it's definitely something to eat, but how could you say it was something to eat, it could have been something else?"

"Because you asked for my help and I told you she is a foodie, so I guessed." Jake said, "Now, tell me... what did you give her, I want to know." Jake requested.

Claire didn't want to tell him because she didn't even tell Austin when he kept asking her, but she thought it would be okay for Jake to know about this as he was the one who gave her the idea for the present.

"I gave her a box of handmade chocolates!" Claire replied excitedly, "Wow, Claire you can make chocolates?" Jake asked, surprised by the information.

"Yeah, do you think she will like it?"

"She would surely like it!" Jake replied, "So....um.... where is Jason?"

"He went to get drinks for us." Claire said, her eyes were fixed on Sarah, waiting for her to open the gift she gave.

Jake saw Jason coming back with two drinks in his hand, Jason saw Jake standing beside Claire, but he ignored him and walked towards Claire, "Here's your drink, without alcohol." Jason said, handing the glass to her, "But I never said I don't drink." Claire complained, looking at him with a pout.

"But you're not drinking tonight." Jason said, firmly.

"Oh, who could have given this?" Isabelle shouted, getting the attention of the people, Claire turned to look at her and saw she was holding the box of chocolates she gave to Sarah.

Claire saw how Sarah was trying to take the gift from her, "Who could have given a box of cheap chocolates!" Isabelle mocked and started laughing.

Claire gripped the glass, she understood what Isabelle meant by getting embarrassed, "Bella, did you see what she is doing!" Jasmine shouted as she pushed some people to get to Claire, Austin followed behind.

Claire nodded her head, her mind getting fogged with anger, she knew Isabelle wanted to make her feel embarrassed in front of all this people, for which she knew how to deal with. "Wait don't tell me you're the one who gave her chocolates?" Austin asked.

"Hmm, I gave it to her, do you have any problem!" Claire was angry, Austin flinched by her sudden change of tone, it was the first time he saw her like this, "You don't have to get mad at me."

"Then don't get on her nerves!" Jasmine said.

Jason looked at Claire, he saw how she was trying to be calm, it would be a lie if he said he wasn't excited to see, what she might do.

"Claire, don't worry I will talk to her." Jake said, he was about to walk towards Isabelle, but Claire stopped him, "No need Jake, I want to see what she is up to."

"I must say, the person has a lot of guts to give such a present!" Isabelle smirked, looking at Claire, the crowd also busted in laughter, Sarah was quietly standing there she knew she won't be able to stop her.

"I would just like to know who gave this, and whoever it was please come and meet me I would love to see you." She spoke.

"How did she know Claire gave that present?" Austin questioned, "Maybe she was watching when Claire gave the present to Sarah!" Jasmine replied.

Claire took a step forward when Jason held her hand, "Where are you going?"

"To meet her!" Claire said, making Jason lose his grip on her hand, "Look don't do anything in anger." Jason suggested.

"Right, you should always have a plan to deal with such people!" Austin said bitterly, "I'm not angry, but you're right Austin we should always have a plan to deal with such people." Saying that, Claire took Jasmine a little away from the boys and whispered something in her ear.

"Do you think I shouldn't have said anything about a plan." Austin asked, regretting opening his mouth.

"I don't know about that, but they are surely going to do something." Jake said worriedly, Jason just shook his head waiting to see the drama.

Claire and Jasmine smirked, she turned to look at them and winked, making them more worried, she then walked towards Isabelle to fulfill her wish to meet her.

"What is she going to do?" Jason asked as soon as Jasmine came towards them, "Sorry, Mr. Kenwood it's show not tell." Jasmine replied.

"I hope it won't take us to jail." Austin said sarcastically, Jasmine didn't reply to him and kept her eyes on her friend, waiting for the signal.

Claire walked confidently to Isabelle, a smile on her lips, "Hello Isabelle, you wanted to meet me?" The people in the club were now completely silent, all the eyes were on them.

Isabelle's smile dropped, when she saw the look on Claire's face, "I didn't get you, why would I want to meet you?"

"You wanted to meet the one who gave her the chocolates, so here I'm!" Claire cleared her confusion, she was aware what Isabelle was trying to do, but she was more than ready to do something that Isabelle wasn't ready to face.

"Oh so, you were the one, I guess we can't expect anything else from you!"

Claire chuckled, making Isabelle frown, she didn't understand what was so funny, "Well, how long do we know each other, that you thought you could expect anything from me?"

Isabelle clenched her jaw, when she noticed some people laughing, "Don't you dare be sarcastic with me!" She warned.

Claire rolled her eyes as she swings the glass in her hand lightly, "Now here I go!" Jasmine said and went towards them.
