Chapter 65

Jason waited patiently to see what else Claire was capable of, this was the first time someone has stood up against Isabelle, since the time he knew her, even when he was her friend, she always wanted things to go her way.

"Jason, I think we should do something, I'm not interested in watching a cat fight!" Austin said, he was scared for Jasmine and Claire, afraid of the consequences.

He was aware of how Isabelle could be sometimes, the memories of the time when he was dating her made him still regret his decision to be with her.

"Don't worry I don't think these girls are any less than her!" Jason replied, gulping his drink in one go, Jake glared at Jason for saying that.

"You are dating her, but it doesn't look like you care about her, you should go and help her, how can you leave her alone in such a situation!" Jake was disgusted by the way Jason was standing as a spectator without doing anything.

"I don't have to show worry for the girl who is capable of dealing with anything that comes her way,"

"And she doesn't need me beside her to protect herself, she is very capable of doing that on her own!" Jason honestly believed Claire was a strong girl, if she needed help, she would have asked even before going to Isabelle.

"And Let me assure you about one thing, if I felt she needs my help, you will find me beside her within a second, so stop trying to pick a fight with me!" Saying that Jason walked away from him.

"I hope you can get over her as soon as possible!" Austin gave Jake a sympathetic look and followed Jason, Jake clenched his jaw and went to have a drink.

On the other hand, Jasmine walked towards Claire and stood beside her, "Miss, why are you fighting with my friend!"

"Who the hell are you?" Isabelle asking, she was already irritated because of Claire.

"She is my friend," Claire replied, "Isabelle stop, you don't have to do this." Sarah tried to stop her, she didn't understand why she was creating such a big fuss about some chocolates.

"Be quite Sarah, you don't have to interfere!" Isabelle yelled at her, making her flinch.

"Wow, is this the way you talk to the birthday girl?" Jasmine asked, acting shocked, the crowd started muttering, they were not pleased the way Isabelle talked to Sarah.

"So, now you want them to think I'm the bad one here?"

"You think you're not?" Claire solicited, "I think you don't know the truth, so let me enlighten you,"

Claire glimspe at Isabelle with a smirk, "You know what! You are just doing this not for her, but to satisfy your ego, and you know that's a fact!"

Isabelle glared at Claire but was quite the whole time, "Do you think anyone believes you?"

"And what makes you think they will believe you?" Jasmine questioned, Isabelle turned around to look at the people staring at them, she knew half of them didn't care, while her own friend was standing there and not supporting her.

"You just see, I will get you for this!" Isabelle warned her, suddenly she threw the box of chocolates in her hand, on the floor, "Oh no... I'm sorry, it fell down from my hand." Isabelle apologized but the smirk on her face said something else.

Claire glanced at the box and sighed trying to control her anger, "I think we should do that now." Jasmine whispered to her, which she agreed to.

"It's okay, I will pick it up." Claire smiled and took a step forward, when Jasmine said, "Bella, let me do it." Saying that she came forward and slightly pushed the glass in Claire's hand.

"What the hell!" Isabelle shouted, the drink in the glass splashed on Isabelle, and her black sequin dress was completely soaked in the juice.

"I can't believe they did that!" Austin was astonished by the scene in front of him, "You see, they are eviler than you think!" Jason said, a part of him was proud of the girls.

Claire tried to keep a neutral face, while Jasmine smiled slightly, "You did that on purpose didn't you?" Isabelle yelled, she was so angry that she wished to strangle them.

"Oh no, I'm sorry, I should have been careful." Claire was trying her best not to laugh at her expression, she knew Isabelle surely wants to kill her.

"Umm....I think we should leave, right Bella?"

Jasmine asked her, it was as if telling her, 'Let's not do anything more than this.'

Claire nodded, as she turned around to leave when she heard, "Remember what you did, be ready to face the consequences!" Isabelle said.

Claire didn't pay her any attention, she saw Austin and Jason standing there, "Are you feeling happy after teaching her a lesson." Austin asked, as soon as they were out of the club.

"Why won't we be happy, that woman was the one asking for it!" Jasmine was feeling content.

They were walking towards the car, Jason was walking beside Claire, without saying a word, Claire glanced at him, she felt he was angry with her for doing that.

"Do you want to say something?"

"Huh, yeah...Are you angry with me?" She asked, "Why do you think that?"

"Because you're being quite since we walked out from there."

"I'm not angry with you, don't worry, but can I ask you something?" Jason glanced at her.

"If she didn't throw the present, would you have still thrown the drink on her?" Jason was curious about it since he saw that.

Claire chuckled and replied, "Maybe, she was just pissing me off."

A small smile made its way to Jason's face, "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For being rude to you, I didn't mean to say that." Jason said, he was feeling guilty since the time he walked away from her but didn't get a chance to apologize.

"It's okay, honestly what you said was true." Claire replied, "Don't say that it makes me more guilty."

"Do you think you're a kind of the guy every girl wants!"

Claire frowned when she heard Jasmine shouting, "Don't tell me they are fighting again."
