The Beginning of Farewell

When a mother is forced to give up her newborn child, it's not an easy situation for a woman to handle. Naomi felt it. If her child is taken someone else, no single mother will be willing. Moreover, her husband had openly cheated on her.

Naomi would have started screaming a long time ago if she had intended to have tantrum. However, she was simply a regular person and couldn't compete with people who were protecting powerful of money them.

Naomi weep, rains mingled with her tears running down. Her hands clenched. She cursed if they took baby she had given birth to so hard.

Alfian grunted angrily. "Airin is the ideal mother for Angel. She's intelligent, educated, and most importantly, she comes from a respectable family!"

"She is not her mother," Naomi angry.

"Additionally, Angela's biological father is not you. The man who slept with me that night was Angela's father. I'm not allowed to identify my daughter as your daughter with Airin. I'll not accept it!"

bukk....

Naomi was shoved Alfian and fell on the chilly tiles covered with seeping rainwater.

Naomi was startled at unexpected. Was this the Alfian she had always known all along? Why is the man acting so impolitely? She had long admired him, but he wasn't like that.

Alfian is good man, he is quiet but likes to help others who are struggling. He would give the ladies the empty cafeteria chairs that were still available. While he was standing alone, but the man standing right now was obnoxious and ruthless, like a hell devil heartless.

"Never return here. Please don't bother my family. I'll you divorce papers and enough money to finance your life," Alfian replied icily. He had didn't sympathize understanding of Naomi's dire predicament.

"One other thing, it states that Angela was born the marriage between Airin and me on her birth certificate. She's our legal daughter. So you're just an outsider who has absolutely no rights over Angela. Forget about claiming custody, because that won't work."

Naomi did'nt know what to say. Her heart dropped and her hands trembled in disbelief despite her cries, everything seemed to be an illusion.

Naomi blinked in shock. Her swollen eyes took one more look at Alfian's face before he slipped behind the large door. She continued to be silent while gazing at the tightly closed main entrance.

Her hands trembled. Her body hit the chilly tile floor as it fell. She sobbed more heavily. She has no chance to meet her daughter. In reality, she out of her reach.

Naomi stood up and left the area, her face expressionless. She fixed her gaze forward. Despite cold breaking through the heavy rain that dampened area, her body was immobile and unable to feel it.

"Wait!! Hey woman!!"

Someone yelled Naomi's name, and she turned around, her brows wrinkled just a little. Naomi's eyes briefly blinked.

She had seen a person running toward her without an umbrella. Like Naomi, he had a damp body.

"What's your name?" he questioned.

Her's eyes grew smaller. She couldn't see who was speaking to her due to her poor vision.

When Airin caught sight cute infant wailing in her arms, she was unable to conceal her worry, despite fact that she disliked sound of her sobbing.

Since earlier, the baby hasn't stopped crying, but Airin can still manage a crooked grin in her victory. She took this baby away from its mother.

Airin is confident that Alfian will never allow Angela to fall into the woman's hands.

Angela was her baby, hers.

Airin was happy that Angela bore absolutely no resemblance to woman who had given birth to her. Angela is more likely to resemble her, blonde hair and skin clear, pale. Angel is a little different from her in that she has gray eyes that are still innocent, but it doesn't matter. It won't get much attention from the public.

Brak....

Airin heard the front door slam shut. She stood up right away and tightened her embrace baby.

When she considered that it might have been Naomi who barged in, her breathing became labored. But as soon Alfian's figure arrived, her concerns were put to rest.

"Nathan still hasn't arrived?" Airin questioned Alfian, her husband.

Just then, he came from behind door. Alfian took a deep breath and gave his watch a quick glance.

His brother-in-law, Nathan Sebastian Matthew ought to have arrived at this time as well.

"Why come he's late?"

She didn't like Nathan's delay. Nathan is not Saga who always vanishes after encountering difficulty. The traits of the two oldest brothers are dissimilar. Nathan was a man of his word.

"Perhaps it's still on the road," Alfian said with a shrug of the shoulders.

"Amount of rain increasing," Alfian shouted, pointing at the glass window that looked straight out into the backyard.

Airin nodded in agreement. Angela, who had been crying nonstop since Alfian's screams in front of her.

Airin inhaled deeply many times before giving up and turning to face Alfian.

"Is there no maid in this house? She won't stop weeping, and I don't know how to stop her!"

"Nothing. It's still a long holiday. They're returning home. You've already agreed."

Airin mumbled inaudibly. She took that action in to prevent they know learning about baby's presence before it was appropriate. She intends to take a lengthy vacation of roughly three months, up until March.

But, she gave up if that's the case.

Angela was quite the nuisance, and Airin had never dealt with baby.

"Should we call a nanny tonight?" Airin's suggestion.

Alfian glanced quickly. "We can't get it in middle of the night." Besides, it's still New Year's atmosphere. They also couldn't find anyone on this stormy night.

Alfian sighed softly. Still audible in this space were Angela's sobs shattering the stillness and heightening the unsettling sound of raindrops as they fall.

'Could she crying be sobbing for her mother out there?'

As soon as the concept began to enter Alfian's mind, he momentarily turned his head aside. She was still too little to comprehend if her biological mother had endured hardships.

Alfian came closer. He plans to take Angela's baby from Airin's arms.

Alfian gulped in shock when he touched her body. His eyes bulged perfectly, "She has a fever!"

"How is this, I don't want to lose it," Airin stammered out, unable to form a proper sentence. She turned pale. "Alfian do something!!"

"Calm down! Calm down, she just has a fever. It's normal for babies."

"I don't want to lose the baby the same way I lost his."

'Forbidden first love.'

Airin shook her head, "What if she dies." She instantly resisted her husband's attempt to hold Angela down by shoving his hand away.

"Don't take her!"

Degh....

Alfian kept quiet. He instructed his wife to first calm down sitting on the bed. Airin was convinced to give baby to her husbend.

"Relax! We've been through this before?"

Airin gave a nod.

"We'll be fine after that," Alfian talk. "Now dial doctor's number. Angela has to be treated right away."

To be continued....
