Aegon spent the whole morning at the academy with Ororo and Rogue, the girls would be making a trip with Hank and the rest of the students to India where they will meet some of the professor's acquaintances, and then they would bring with them another mutant from India.
After having lunch at the academy and watching the girls leave, Aegon said goodbye to the professor, Logan, Colossus, and Darwin who are the only ones left. Before they left, Aegon reminded Logan of what they had planned for the night.
The rest of the day until evening came and he met with his girls waiting for it to be time to meet with Blade, Aegon was thinking about what he would do with the failure of the soon-to-be Fantastic Four. With the failure of the mission to study the cosmic radiation clouds that they proposed to carry out, the team would face quite a few financial problems.
Aegon thought he could buy the Baxter Building and offer them some sort of deal that would be mutually beneficial. This could be everyone's residence, at least until Aegon had enough capital for the building he planned to build in the future.
Eventually, the night came, Aegon had tipped off the girls that he and Logan would be assisting Blade in an operation to eliminate a leech planning to create a vampire holocaust. At first, they were worried, but Aegon calmed them down by assuring them that the vampires were no threat to him.
This was his first time donning the nightingale armor and all the girls admitted that he looked quite intimidating, especially with the Sharingan activated. That night was the first time the girls saw the Sharingan, but Aegon only told them that it was an ability that enhanced his vision.
The armor was nothing more than modified shinigami shihakusho making use of kidoes and henge no Jutsu principles.
With everything ready he went to the point where they had agreed to meet leaving some clones to take charge of taking the girls to their respective houses, especially Gwen whose father was at home and waiting to meet Aegon. By the way, Felicia would be moving in the next few days and MJ had been permitted to sleep over more often.
When he got to the designated spot Blade was already waiting and Logan still hadn't shown up. "Blade I'm not late am I?"
"No. Let's go." He turned around and was going to get on a motorcycle.
Aegon sighed at the thought that he would have to deal with Blade and his attitude all night. "Wait, someone's still missing."
"What are you talking about?" Blade asked stopping.
"I invited a friend, I assumed there would be no problem. Now the address…"
"Edgewood Tower. I already know where they are." He finished by saying Blade.
"Hey, our deal still stands." Aegon no longer sounded joking most of the time. "They may still suspect Alyssa who was making inquiries to locate Frost."
"You did your part, I'll do mine." It was the only thing that Blade answered. At that moment another motorcycle arrived, it was Logan who was wearing his old suit.
"Your friend is quite, striking." The blade was referring to the colors of Loga's suit and the latter heard him. "What does it matter? It's not like you guys go unnoticed." Logan refuted.
"I think my costume looks amazing. Blade, this is my friend Logan. Logan this is my other friend Blade, the vampire hunter."
Both men looked at each other for a few seconds and then spoke my words. "We are not friends." Blade didn't think they were friends, just acquaintances and Logan was still mad at Aegon for seducing Rogue.
"I felt a stab in my heart, but I'm a strong guy, I'll have my girlfriends cuddle me later." Blade and Logan just looked at him like he was an idiot. "Blade, do you want to explain how we will proceed?"
Blade looked at Logan and began to speak. "We're headed for Edgewood Tower, they know I'm on my way so they'll be prepared. Expect strong resistance. They have a hostage." Blade showed them a photo of a dark-skinned woman. "This is Dr. Karen Jenson, eliminates the rest."
With everyone deciding Blade and Logan left on their motorcycles and Aegon left on his own, he was the first to reach Edgewood Tower.
In no time the 3 were at the foot of the Edgewood Tower. Frost owned the top 6 floors of the building so they took the elevator to Frost's first floor. Since they arrived the security cameras were able to detect them and they were considered hostile.
The massacre by the 3 hunters began, Frost and his vampires thought they were prepared to capture Blade, the fundamental piece of their plans, they never expected Blade to bring company, which turned out to be lethal. Not even half an hour had passed since everything had started and already more than 80% of the vampire forces had been eliminated. Frost and his closest minions were now looking for a way to escape from Blade and his companions, but it seemed to be something impossible even though luck would not abandon them.
Just as Frost entered his room with the vampires following him, they found Blade reuniting with the mother he thought was dead, taking advantage of Blade's shock, the vampires were able to capture him and flee with him.
Aegon and Logan had separated from Blade when the confrontation began, to cover more area and ironically prevent them from escaping. They both reached the top floor and noticed how it was empty and there was no sign of Blade anywhere.
"This doesn't seem to be good," Logan mentioned to Aegon that using his abilities he was scanning the surroundings for Blade and noted how his presence was coming from outside the building and he was surrounded by other vampires.
"Blade was captured we'd better get going, we're going to follow them. Tonight is a lot of fun." Logan looked at him, then shook his head.
"What?" Aegon was confused.
"Nothing. The truth is that I also find the night fun, I haven't let myself go for a long time."
Aegon and Logan followed the vampires to a secluded area ofyf the city, then entered an underground ruin that looked like an ancient temple. When they were close enough they heard Frost like every villain give a speech about what the purpose of everything was.
At this time they were in the Temple of Eternal Night, a temple created with the purpose of awakening La Magra, who according to legend was the god of blood. With La Magra awake, the vampires would rule the world and all the other stupid things that most villains aspire to.
"His voice is already starting to give me a headache, we can end this once and for all," Logan asked who already seemed bored to Aegon.
"Yes, we'd better do it." With those words, they both left where they were and began to kill all the vampires in the place. All the confidence on Frost's face disappeared in that instant. The blade still hadn't recovered from the injuries he had sustained, but that didn't stop him from fighting as well.
Aegon was unwilling to let Frost escape again so he went straight for him. Frost when he saw Aegon in front of him stopped.
"Who the hell are you!? You've ruined years of investigation. I may have failed today but there will be other opportunities. to delete it." Frost prepared to fight.
"Wait, are you serious? Are you going to fight me?" He could barely contain his laughter.
"Do you think I'm afraid of a simple hunter?" Without saying another word Frost jumped on Aegon with his claws outstretched and full of rage.
Aegon watched all of this and wondered what part of the fight this asshole hadn't seen because he was killing vampires like they were nothing. A mere hunter, he must have lost his sanity to believe such a thing.
"Bakudo number 30 Shiwqtotsu Sansen (Triple Pointed Beam of Light)." 3 beams of light hit Frost while he was still in the air and pinned him against the wall behind him.
Frost didn't understand what was going on. He could see 3 beams of light that had him pinned to the wall, although he didn't feel any pain, he just wasn't able to move. He was about to ask what those beams of light were, but when he looked up from his body what he saw was a sphere of fire about 2 meters in diameter.
The Great Ball of Fire hit Frost squarely, incinerating him almost instantly. His shouts were quite short.
With no vampires left, Logan walked over to Aegon as Blade leaned on Dr. Karen and they talked about something. "How many skills do you have?" Logan had seen how Aegon dealt with Frost.
"A lot." That was the only thing Aegon answered.
The mission they had carried out was over and they achieved what they set out to do, now it was time to go home. "It was a new experience for me, I had never hunted vampires before," Logan mentioned to everyone. "Blade if you ever need a hand with a problem like this you can contact me." Blade only nodded, but that was enough.
Logan then turned to Aegon. "It's been a long night and I've had to go from one side of town to the other. Don't delay with our agreement and next time you visit the academy bring some beers. Hank always forgets to buy them when he does the shopping."
"Of course."
Logan got on his motorcycle and drove off, Blade and Karen took a car and also drove away leaving Aegon alone that he was thinking as he watched them drive off that Logan had never given Blade a way to contact him.
