Chapter Eight

It seemed Starblazes life couldn't get any weirder,

From discovering a secret library in the library to throwing a doctor across the room, the scariest part was finding out that her heart had stopped beating, how does persons heart stop beating, does that mean she died and came back?. But that being the least of her concerns, she was currently sitting in her Mysteries of the Dark class with Mr. Raivo but she wasn't paying any attention to the class and by the looks of it Mr. Raivo noticed.

"Starblaze, I hope you're paying attention to this class" he asked folding his arms and looking down at her with a blank yet angry expression.

"what? The class? Yeah I'm listening" Starblaze replied looking at the clock expectantly

"really? Okay then what creature uses the shadow to control it's victims" he asked with a smirk expecting her to fail

"Cyprania" he looked shocked

"the woman of the night?"

"Dolores"

"her followers are called?"

"nightwalkers"

"morning shadows in the forest?"

"shadow whisperers" he was about to ask another question but was cut off by the bell

"yes class is over uh thank you for the list of questions, adios" she said and left not paying attention to the laughter in the class.

She rushed to the library saying a quick high to the librarian before going right back to the same place she found the hidden passage but she saw Mrs. Talia coming through the library door. Mrs. Talia was passing by the shelves but she stopped midway, turning towards a book and slowly moved it away scaring a student.

"um, ma'am? Is something wrong?" the student asked leaning back

"no uh nothing continue" she said clearing her throat and walking away then she bumped into another student

"Starblaze? What are you doing here" she asked

"uh what am I doing here? In the library? The school library? Are you okay?" Starblaze asked raising a brow questioningly

"I erased your memory how do you remember this place?" Mrs. Talia said

"excuse me? Mrs Talia you gave us a work on dragons today and I was given permission to come to the library when I started here" Starblaze stepped away from her crazy teacher and walked away watching her nod slowly.

Starblaze was laughing her head off after seeing Mrs. Talia's reaction, she had never seen her so freaked out. Starblaze hid behind the shelf watching Mrs. Talia as she looked around making sure nobody was there before going through the passageway.

"so I wasn't hallucinating? She actually erased my memory? What a wonderful teacher" she said rolling her eyes before following in.

Just as she remembered it was an exact replica of the original library. She slowly walked further into the library looking around, she was about to touch one of the books but then she heard a low growl, where she came from she was taught to run away from danger not do the usual and ask if anyone was there so she retreated quietly and turned to walk away but then came the growling again, it bothered her to know that there was something dangerous and probably lethal in a library of all places, she turned back to the noise and listened carefully… nothing, there was nothing, she shrugged and went away.

After looking around for a while she went back to the section on dragon hunters. Nothing seemed to have changed from the last time she was here, she scanned through the books looking for the one she was reading last time nut she came across another one it was a nameless book so why was it so entrancing. She touched the book and got it out of it's place before she was tackled to the floor by the source of the mysterious growling.

"so you waited for me to waste my time asking who's there huh?" she asked the creature above her, the creature who's face she couldn't even see for some reason. The creature growled more lowering its face so she could see it, when she looked closely she saw teeth at first, just teeth at first but then she saw four purple eyes appeared then four ears then four tails, why is everything four, why, it even had four rows of teeth, four rows of teeth? Only one creature has four rows of teeth it's a fire creature, and a creature of knowledge so she knew it could talk.

"what do you want" she asked boredly

"how are you not scared of me?" the creature asked

"because I've seen worse" she said shrugging

"worse? Worse than me? I have four sets of everything" it said with a shocked expression

"yeah unfortunately you have half a brain" she said pushing it of her

"how did you push me like that, I'm like 200 pounds" it exclaimed looking at her with interest

"really? It was kinda like lifting a doll" she said getting up from the floor and going for the book but iit came at her pushing her away from the book and growling.

"you cannot take the book" it said walking towards her slowly

"a wise man once said that you can't find another library in a library" she said and dove for the book grabbing it before the creature grabbed her and tossed her away.

"I said you cannot take the book hand it over and leave" she sighed and gave it to him before exiting the library. She took one look at the passage way before walking away.

She was waiting for her sister so they could go to their next class with miss Belinda when someone bumped into her.

"oh sorry…" she said picking up his books and looking at him

"not" she added dropping the books in his arms

"oh come on why don't you like me" Tatsuya asked

"what's there to like" she asked before looking at her hand noticing that something was missing, she looked back and saw him about to open the book, she grabbed it quickly and put in her bag making sure it was in before locking the bag.

"where did you get that book" he asked

"where did you find a barber with a sense of humour" she replied back causing him to check his hair.

"hey that's mean" she groaned and turned to him

"come with me"

Mr. Mcgrissly walked into his office after properly checking that all students were in their classroom, being the principle of a school was hard. He sighed and went to his seat to relax, he took off his hat and rubbed his forehead when he heard grumbling, he opened his eyes and looked around listening for the sound, he heard it again but this time it came with slight struggling, he looked below his table and lifted the rug to find the schools trap door being banged on, he opened slowly and gasped.

" Dawn Tatsuya?"
