Chapter Nine

Tatsuya narrowly escaped trouble, apparently playing hide and seek in the schools trap door was breaking quite a number of rules and could easily bring about suspension but he escaped it and declared a new respect for Starblaze, he didn't think she would actually bury him in the principles office.

Karla found pleasure in poking Starblaze throughout their class with miss Belinda, Miss Belinda saw this but decided not to do anything because she knew both girls were paying absolute attention to the class in their own way. Starblaze wasn't completely listening to Miss Belinda though, she had a lot on her mind, the book she took from the library covered almost 60% of her thoughts at the moment.

"Starblaze Miss Belinda wants to tell us a secret" Karla said poking Starblaze the hardest causing her to squeal and glare fire balls at Karla who retracted her finger slowly and looking at Miss Belinda.

"do you all know what actually happened in the battle between the dragons and the other nations?" she asked looking at all the interested faces, all except one, Starblaze didn't seem as fascinated as the rest.

"well, the dragon's weren't at a fair advantage because the other nations had poisonous weapons and substances which were used on the dragons" Miss Belinda said catching starblazes attention, she knew the girl had always been interested in the talk of dragons.

"but didn't they deserve it?" a student asked

"no not entirely but to an extent yes" she said with a small frown which she hid quickly, it didn't go unnoticed by Starblaze though, she noticed the frown but didn't bother too much about it. At the end of the stories Starblaze still didn't have any expression on her face making Miss Belinda wonder what was going on.

"ok kids don't forget about the test next week have a nice weekend" Miss Belinda said going back to her light cheerful voice, but there was another emotion other than cheerfulness in her voice which Starblaze noticed as always.

Starblaze and Karla were the last ones to leave the classroom because Karla was searching for her pen

"oh here it is" she said running to Starblaze who had started walking away

"where did you find it" she asked stopping to look at Karla who had a slightly nervous and extremely goofy smile on her face while scratching the back of her head.

"in my pocket" Starblaze stared for a while, then smacked her behind the head and watch her tumble to the door dramatically.

"ah! How could you throw your older sister at the door?!" Karla cried standing up while rubbing her head

"I wish I threw you further" Starblaze said rolling her eyes. She walked passed Miss Belinda who looked far in thought and decided against disturbing her with questions and was just going to say a quick bye and leave but as she said her bye she was shocked when Miss Belinda suddenly grabbed her arm holding it tightly, and she could've sworn she saw a tint of some kind of colour in her eyes.

"Miss Belinda?" she called getting no reply, she looked to Karla who was just as confused. Karla went closer to them and touched Miss Belindas arm jolting her from her trans, she slowly rose her had letting the girls get a glimpse of her emerald green eyes. Both girls stared at their teacher not believing that those now brown honey orbs were green just a few seconds ago.

"Miss Belinda are you okay?" Starblaze asked

"oh I'm fine but are you Starblaze okay?" Miss Belinda asked

"you've heard things right? You know things, please stay away from these things they aren't important to you" Miss Belinda said these things in a rush so Karla didn't understand most of what she was saying but Starblaze understood quite well what she didn't understand was how she knew and why she was telling her to stay away from these things.

"um yes sure I will" she said

" but Star?" Starblaze slapped her palm over her idiot sisters mouth and smiling at her slightly weird teacher

"well see you tomorrow Miss Belinda" Starblaze said backing away

"tomorrow is Saturday" Miss Belinda said raising a brow

"uh even better" said Starblaze leaving the class quickly with Karla.

Starblaze went straight to her locker to get her homework and her Mythical creatures textbook, notebook and parchment, Mrs. Talia had it out for her and she didn't want to make it worse.

"Star did you have a clue of what the hell Miss Belinda said?" asked Karla

"I'll tell you later" she said wondering if maybe, just maybe she's making a wrong decision

"oi! Starblaze!!" they both turned to see Viper coming towards them, normally they would try to leave but she had her signature smirk which was equal to not irritated when it comes to Viper.

"Viper what's up" Starblaze asked wincing inside her head at the sound of that

"just came to tell you that I'll be much less mean from now on" both girls looked at each other wondering if their teacher wasn't the only slightly crazy person

"oi I'm serious" Viper said folding her arms with a slight pout

"why? How?" asked Starblaze

"it's respect for actually burying Tatsuya today, I didn't think you'd do it the principle found him in his office locked in the school's trap door and thought he was playing hide and seek in there" Starblaze and Karla couldn't help but laugh

"he deserved it" Starblaze said

"true that, but how did you get him into it, he said you threw him in but I don't think that's true, I mean he weighs about 60kg or even more" both girls looked at each other again and looked at Viper who had a raised brow looking at them both.

"honestly it was like carrying a doll" Starblaze said

"wait what?! How" they looked to each other again nodded and looked to Viper, Starblaze stepped forward and took in a deep breathe.

"I'm about to tell you about something secret" she said gaining Vipers attention, she took another deep breath and looked at Viper in the eyes. They stayed in that position for some minutes in silence before Starblaze broke the silence

"well our parents are here bye bye" with that both girls took off to their parents car and got in.

"wow you guys are in a rush" their mom said

"drive" they both said causing their dad to shrug and drive. Starblaze heard a growling as they left the school, she looked back and saw four sets of wings on the schools roof top.
