Chapter Thirty three

The group of six were now seated eating flower cakes given to them by the servants, as they ate they watched Ryoko and the elderly lady sat at the fountain

"argh its been a least two hours since this meditation competition began I'm tired already" Viper complained

"well deal with it idiot" Belinda said

"what did you say?" Viper asked looking at Belinda with a low growl

"she said shut up" Karla said

"but she's right how long does it take to do this" she asked

" that I don't know she might be discussing something important Belinda said

"or she hasn't even found the lady yet" at this everyone groaned both inwardly and outwardly as they knew Ryoko had playful tendencies.

Ryoko jerked forward with a small yelp as the boat came in contact with dry land

"what did I say about not falling of" the elderly guy said

"I didn't fall of did i?" Ryoko said with a small smile to which the lady rolled her eyes and got off the boat followed closely by Ryoko

"is this the spirit world?, no wonder all those dead spirits roam around earth without resting in peace" Ryoko said

"this is only the entrance,smart mouth" the lady said with an annoyed expression

"smart mouth?"

"something wrong?" the lady asked

"well normal people usually call me by my name but I guess spirits are different" the lady again had an annoyed and also amused expression on her face

"I'm a real person also I don't think the spirits here would enjoy that" she said stopping, this time Ryoko didn't bump into her

"we're here" Ryoko looked around before rolling her eyes

" so where is here?"

"come along" there was a small clicking noise before a blinding light enveloped them both, Ryoko closed her eyes due to the light

"are you gonna keep your eyes closed the entire time?" Ryoko slowly opened her eyes as she got used to the new light after being in the darkness so long

"woah what is this place its so cool oh wait no it's the spirit world right so cool I thought it was as dark and gloomy as you are" the lady almost smacked her about the head

"ow"

"be careful with the spirits here they don't like scary looking people" the lady said moving forward

"have you looked in the mirror lately?"

"excuse me?"

"just saying if you look carefully you look like some kind of alien mummy grandma that lost her first ancestral grandson" the lady smacked her up the head again

"owwww! Stop that you idiot" Ryoko said then she heard a giggle

" huh? Who's that?" she asked following the hollow sound which seemed like it was everywhere but it was coming from one spot

"hahaha so funny ha- huh? What? How'd you find me?" asked a small person

"woah you look like that small Barbie girl Thumbelina, also you were laughing so hard it was obvious" she said picking up the small spirit.

"don't pick her up you dummy!" the lady shouted

"why not?" Ryoko asked as she looked at the fascinating creature giggling in her palm

"uh usually they get angry an unstable when in contact with strangers" the woman said

"you must've been the first person they met" Ryoko said earning an uproar of laughter from now different people

"wow that's so cool someone who can take down this old sorceress" said a small bunny

"woah are you all spirits?" Ryoko asked putting the small spirit down.

"yup"

"so cool"

"okay that's enough lets leave" the lady said

"what? Already?"

"yes we've spent too much time"

"huh? We've been here like twenty minutes"

"four hours in the actual world"

"say what?"

"aww bye then" the small person said

"so annoying, but bye bye"

"hey also wake up I'm not getting the boat right now" with that the lady disappeared

"huh?! What the hell? Come back hear you-"

"hello there sorry for the wait"

"miss old lady you're done meditating finally" Viper said

"sorry for keeping you so long"

"so where is-"

"oi! Grumpy old spirit lady why'd you leave me back here?" Ryoko said

"stop calling me funny names you little smart mouth"

"see I would stop but I can't take you seriously when you call me a smart mouth"

"Ryoko!" Elena said

"see that's my name" Ryoko said joining her friends

"fine my name is-"

"huh? I didn't ask" the lady stood shocked while the servants around giggled

'yup this is one crazy kid' Belinda thought
