CHAPTER 3- BEASTMEN CONTINENT'S

Walking on the dirt road built by the beastmen race going to the only capital that the beast men have here on the leonial continent was very relaxing compared to the other roads that wasn't cared for by the beastmen race. The other road are a lot of pain because you mostly going up and down smaller hills just to cross to the other side.

Beastmen were never good at engineering houses nor making roads for traveler's to pass through. They mostly hire humans to make there houses, roads and other things required for a society. The only thing that the humans didn't make was the royal capital that was made after the war between all races ends.

My grandmother also told me a story that the war was so bloody that it took almost 40% of all lives here on this world.

Just thinking about that war repeating itself gave me goosebumps all over my body. But the possibility of that happening is as close to a zero because of the dragon that interfere with the war ages ago. I don't really know how they stop a war that bloody but there gods.

After the incident that happened 10 years ago I and the others have been constantly on the run. we only stop running when all assassination and people coming after me stop. That's when we all decided to spilt ways with the others. while ray stayed with me because he still hasn't heard anything from his family at those times but even with the kingdom has been destroyed into ruins he is still a loyal soldier to me.

Thinking back those were the times I was at my lowest. I've also tried killing myself but one of the mages kept me alive with her healing spells. I always wonder how are they doing sometimes. They were always trying to cheer me up when they could feel my emotions worsening. I could already say that they are like my second family.

We traveled the Bretonnia continent for about three and a half year then we all disbanded after that leaving me and ray to travel to the leonial continent. We then spend most of the time hunting and going on quest to make a quick buck for our daily expenses. I've met most of my friends at the guild and then ray got a job as a city guard regardless of his eye condition.

As I was walking on the dirt road I saw a carriage that was being attack by 10 bandits.

The knights was about to be overwhelmed when I begun my attack. I casted a low tier spell called flame arrows on the bandits that were attacking the carriage and the knights. The flame arrows killed 4 of the bandits before they could kill the knights. After that some bandits that were about to attack again stop and look at me with rage filled eyes.

"Little girl you have some guts to interrupt us!"

"Heh! look at her! standing there like some kind of hero! hahaha how funny!"

"Oii boss! We can have some fun with her before killing her right kekekeke."

"Sure you can! But I'll have a taste of her before you guys hehehehehe!"

'disgusting' I thought

After that I pulled out my daggers that were on my waist.

I begun to run in there direction with incredible speed that caught them of guard. When I reached for the closest to me he tried to slash me with his sword in a upward strike but I manage to dodge the sword and begin with my counter attack. My daggers reach for his throat...slash... Blood sprayed out of his throat killing him. I didn't stop there I continued my attack until the only remaining one is there boss.

"Girl sure have some guts huh."

"Shut up and die! scum." As I said that I immediately cast a tier four death magic spell called zero life.

*I BROUGHT DEATH TO THE ABYSS, I BROUGHT HELL TO EARTH, I BROUGHT LIFE TO HELL: ZERO LIFE!*

As I was casting my spell he launch at me with desperate speed but he wasn't fast enough to reach me before he turned to dust with his last words were "fu*king hell"

After that I helped all the 3 knights that were protecting the carriage. I didn't notice at first but when I look at the carriage it looks expensive that's the first thing that came to mind was that this is a noble just looking at the carriage but when I look at it again. A look of surprise begun to emerge from my face. because how couldn't I contain it. It has the crest of one of the most powerful human empire. And the carriage that the third princess of the celestia empire always use when she is going to meet up with her friend. One of my only friend's

"Sera?" I accidentally called out loud. I panicked.

And just as I was about to run away because I was ashamed she would be disgusted by the current me. A rope of pure mana suddenly appeared around me as the carriage door open and a beautiful young lady with beautiful black hair and purple teary eyes pulled me to her using the rope of pure mana. she wrapped her hands around my waist as her magic became undone. After that I heard her crying and before I can say anything my cloaking spell became undone. I was shock because she wasn't this powerful before that she can undo or cancel my spells before.

' I see.' I thought 'you've been practicing and advancing your magic all this year's huh'
