Bitten

Sanguinex knew too well that he was the only weird human being in Kome, and of his time. he couldn't comprehend what creature this could be: "maybe it wants me to come to find him {he thought} and if it's not an animal, then it's human, possessed with demon blood like me; but even if it's an animal, which animal could eat the human brain?"

Sanguinex was so frustrated and angry at the death of the only family he had, he dashed out but was stopped by one of his father's guards, Gwyar who had a bowl of large raw meat with him.

(Gwyar) sire, the meat just arrived, do you want it to be made now?

(Sanguinex) y...e...s, I do.{He stammered, trying to catch his breathe}

Gwyar made way to leave but Sanguinex called him back. The attraction from the bow got him and he lost it; he grabbed the bowl and started munching the raw meat in it. Gwyar, on seeing this freaked out and tried to run away. Sanguinex in terror of being exposed grabbed him and bit him, draining all the blood in his body. He got up and quickly dragged him into a room, shut the door and dashed out.

He ran to the woods, yelled so furiously and turned into a demon dog.

That was the only way Sanguinex could ever overcome depression and anger because emotions control his nature and once heightened they lose their humanity and could do anything that would make them feel better which includes bloodshed.

While still in the woods, Gwyar woke up but couldn't remember anything that happened. He stood wondering what he must have done to be locked up in the room he was in.

He decided to wait in there to see if his master or anyone would come for him or come to get him for a query but nobody showed up.

As time passed by, he began to respond to weird reactions from his body. first, he started hearing people from outside talking as if they were next to him; and was also hearing their hearts pounding so fast; different heartbeats sounding like a beating drum. he covered his ears and sat back on the floor then, rubbed his eyes. "what's happening to me" {he wondered}.

he looked at his hands and could see his veins, body sweating, and his body temperature cold as he felt the urge to bite himself to get the blood flowing through his hand to his heart, into his mouth. he had the urge to feed and felt the warmth to kill.

"I've never felt this hungry in my life, I could go get something to eat because I don't understand what's happening to me" {he said}

still wondering why he was locked up in that room, he had a sharp knock on his head and all his memories started coming back, both past and present, from the moment he was a child till the time he was bitten. then he realised that his master Sanguinex had a hand in what was happening to him but one thing he didn't understand was why Sanguinex would bite and drink his blood. his heart went sour, filled with hatred and revenge as he kicked the door open and started making his way out.

To be a vampire is to kill. it is to drain sweetness from the blood and infect others with cold minds.

Gwyar tried to walk but he keeps stumbling and falling until he fell into the arms of the head guard Serkan, son of Jugan Salvatore, a wealthy man in Kome, feared and respected by the people of Kome due to his warrior qualities and that of his son's. Serkan tried to help him up but Gwyar was too weak to walk, he needed to feed to survive. lying on Serkan gave him more urge to feed, he couldn't hold on as he held Serkan and bit him. Serkan yelled and ran off with the little strength he had.

Gwyar got little strength from the little blood he had, so he charged and was ready to prey on anyone who crossed his part. while Serkan ran off, he couldn't help but shout

"he's a vampire! go get him!!"

other guards followed his trace and went after Gwyar. Gwyar tried to attack but was surrendered by guards with their arrows, spears and bows; so he gave in to being arrested. while they were taking him outside, the Sunstroke under the hot sun came quicker and down to his skin, which burnt without mercy. Gwyar screamed, freed himself from their grip and ran off. two guards ran after him but he made them a meal and dropped their corpses for others to find.

All Gwyar could think of was revenge, so he turned off his humanity, which means he could kill out of remorse; and hid himself in a dark underground room, where nobody would think he would be, waiting to hunt at night.

Those who are cold within, who let their love wither and die, are dead. Those who never inwardly reflect on whom they are and instead suck others dry, lose their own reflection. They become scared of the light, for it shows them what they became. They become scared of God, for God sees what they became.

Sanguinex came back and he was told what happened when he was away, he became troubled. the difference between Sang and Gwyar is that Sanguinex is a day lighter; which means he can walk under the sun but Gwyar cannot, he had to wait till dusk to go out.

Sanguinex searched everywhere to find Gwyar but he couldn't then he realised what damage he had caused, because those two guards bitten by Gwyar, now live among them and also looking for blood to quench their thirst.

On the other hand, Serkan who ran home to report the matter to his father transformed before he could get to his father. feeling exhausted and weak, his sister, Susan saw him from her window and ran down to get her brother, she held him and with the help of the guard, they were able to take him to his room. Serkan started reacting toward the toxic vampire blood in his system as he started daydreaming. Susan got close with a bowl to clean him off the blood on his neck, Serkan grabbed her to bite her but a guard ran to them and knocked Serkan off. as the guard was helping Susan up, Serkan got up and hurried towards the guard; they both started struggling as Serkan's vampire teeth were all out, ready to devour; still, on the struggle, Serkan's father returned and mistakenly shot him.

Serkan jumped off from the window, leaving the guard with bruises; the guard fell as he could feel his whole world spinning, and voices echoing in his subconscious state.
