3RD PERSON POV:
Her beauty...
It was undeniable.
Her beautiful black locs which framed her heart-shaped face perfectly
Her beautiful dark black skin glistened and glowed
And her big black eyes that could mend thousands of broken hearts and revive ten thousand more dead lilies.
The birds in the trees
the butterflies
all the insects, worms, and bugs
could see how powerful 6-year-old Sonora was and how much powerful she would be.
*****
The day was bright and beautiful
the grass was green and luscious
the wind combed through the leaves of trees leaving a slight breeze behind
the sun shone beautifully shinning showering down its radiant glow with the wolves of the earth
everything was absolutely perfect
"but I don't wanna eat it" young Sonora whined
"Baby you have to if you want to be a big and strong vamp you have to up all the Bluphine" her mother Amara tried to reason
"but I'm already big and strong" Sonora argued with a huff as she crosses her arms
"but if you want to be even bigger and stronger you have to eat up all the Bluphine" Amara exclaimed while throwing her arms up
"Will I be as strong papa," she asked her eyes innocently starting at her mother
"even stronger" Her mother's laugh bounced off the walls of the kitchen as she lifted Sonora and rested her on her hips
suddenly their house shook and Sonora's father Solan burst through the door in a state of panic
Amara knew what was happening and what she feared for so long
she immediately rushed upstairs to get their 3-year-old daughter Amara who was still sleeping in her crib
Amara always knew this day would come the day of tears and blood the day of dread the day of death the day they say goodbye to their daughters
BOOM! A loud crash was heard then after, the sounds of pure terror were heard from all around screaming, shouting, crying it was everyone for themselves
"We have to go now," Solon said with bags he packed for his daughters
Amara's heart shattered into millions of pieces hearing and seeing the destruction taking place she knew they were not gonna make it out alive but as warriors, they made an oath a pledge to protect the families of the coven to protect her children so she has to she had no choice to sacrifice her self for them
Solon and Amara then rushed out to the back and placed both children down
"Mommy what's going on," Sonora asked as tears rushed down her cheeks
Sonora was no newcomer in hearing about the war but she never thought that she would witness it in full sight and knowing both her parents were warriors she had no choice but to think the worst
"Nora baby listen to me Mommy and Daddy will be gone for some time okay but I want you to listen to me never give up hope, okay and if anything goes wrong I want you to protect and care for your sister," Solon said with pain in his eyes he grabs Sonoras' hand and laced it with her sisters
"Never let go of this okay Mommy and Daddy love you guys so much we will be back soon okay," he said while kissing their foreheads "Run run, and don't look back never look back"
Sonora took her sister's hands and ran into the forest she ran and she ran never letting go of her sister's hand and the one time she did look back she regretted every moment because that's when she saw a werewolf plunge a sword through her father's chest and seeing her dads sweet kind eyes turn lifeless.
The day was indeed beautiful
but the grass was now tainted red with blood
the wind combed through the leaves of trees while bodies of the dead vampires lay on the tainted grass
the sun shone beautifully shinning showering down on the tainted grass and the dead vampires
everything was absolutely perfect.
